INSTALLATION:
1. Make NANDROID ALWAYS!!!!
2. Download and put somewhere on the root of your SD...
3. Reboot into ClockWorkMod Recovery
4. Find the GingerRED zip and flash..
5. Reboot and enjoy
This wipes the dalvik-cache...so first boot will take awhile....after that its gravy!

Also, i want to say that this will most likely be the last update for a while...if my teammates release a new ROM and you guys want it updated then i'll do it...sorry to have to do this but i gotta finish this school semester strong...and besides i think its time to start on a new project....I have not decided the future of GingerRED...but if this is the last release then i want to thank all who contributed, commented, ported, and used this theme..if not then a newer GingerRED will return in a few months

One thing I noticed is that on the Xda app when you go to quote or something like that, the color comes up, but it looks more pink than red! Other than that everything good so far!

Just flashed V5, and tried to apply this, flashed 3x times...3x time stuck on Applying Framework-res.apk
Any Help?
Another thing I noticed is when receiving a phone call both sliders are Red!
Since the end call slider is already red maybe just make the answer slider a different color like black and white or something like that!

SGB is Slightly Better Gingerbread its a theme in the Vibrant Theme and Apps section. I believe the latest version is V2.4 you can go check it on out.
Hey Mr. Apocalypse can you change the answer slider to different color cause the answer and deny are both red, and theme up the Market. That'd be so cool if you could.

Oh I was just curious. If flashing over other themes is going to be an issue, I'll need to look at accommodating that. I just can't think of anything about BlackFroyo that would interfere. I'll try flashing BF then this over it and see what happens. Thanks for the input
Edit: Well, tried that and couldn't reproduce the issue. If you or anyone else that experiences the issue could post a logcat, I'd appreciate it.

Can you make one with a black notification bar? (It looks weird going into the app drawer and seeing the live wallpaper play in the notification bar.)

I added metamorph options that should allow this to be flashed over any theme.

Go to Drawer Settings -> Background color -> Drag the green "alpha" bar all the way to the left -> click the center color.
so the bar up top is transparent as long as its on the lock screen when I unlock it turns black. I did install the circular battery mod. Would that have anything to do with it?

This is a honeycomb theme of sorts. I used icons from Blue Edition from orkorolev, icons I found from a CM7 honeycomb theme and a couple themed blue icons from my GB theme. Thanks to sublime1184 for the hex edits to the progress bars (blue). Apps included: honeycomb clock (free from market), honeycomb wallpapers (free from market), HTC keyboard from Blue Edition, calculator I themed blue, browser from Blue Edition, settings from Blue Edition. Lock screen I created especially for this theme (although it has nothing to do with honeycomb, I just like it lol). Bottom dock and landscape dock themed with icons I got from LPI (vastly edited to work with Rosie). Added honeycomb bee to notification drop down bar after tweaking the colors a bit so they didn't clash with ongoing activites. Includes honeycomb boot animation (sound still plays from the default Sprint boot animation).
Changelog:
3/7/2011 added a no-bee version. Removed the honeycomb bee from the drop down notification bar. Flash over the main theme to remove the bee.
3/8/2011 changed both versions notification drop down to be transparent when used with nfinite's new ROM. Added flying windows animation for both versions! Added some more icons from blue edition. Added spare parts app (free from market) to turn off window animations in case you don't like them (included in main version). To turn off windows animations: open spare parts and under general - change window animations to off and transition animations to off.
3/9/2011 fixed messaging app highlighting in green and fixed green under brightness control (both now blue). Themed HTC calendar widget now in blue. HTC Music and HTC FM radio now blue. USB debugging icon in blue to match computer connection icons (changed to blue as well). Both versions.
3/9/2011 added a smaller font to both versions (accidental presidency). Also added the option to flash the standard font back.
3/10/2011 themed most of the status bar icons blue. Themed a couple more icons blue for the status bar. Included in both versions.
3/13/2011 changed GPS icons in status bar to simple GPS on and off (satellite icon for aquiring and using GPS unchanged). Fixed text field input which highlighted green to blue (both versions). Changed alarm clock icon. Drop down transparent on any ROM thanks to nfinite. Transparency in drop down changed to 40%. See pics below.
3/14/2011 theme is now zipaligned and PNG optimized. Also changed the "E" for EVDO to "Ev".
New! 3/21/2011 new version available! New version has different icons for signal strength, wifi and data connections (see pics below). Data connection icons change colors for data out/in. Status bar themed blue and drop down notification items as well. Bottom dock changed to darker blue. Silent, vibrate, sync notification items themed blue. This is the full theme and its based off of nfinite's 2.0 ROM. Also changed the EVDO icons to 3G. Named "...blues" in download list below.

Instructions:
Make a nandroid just in case. Use CWM 2.5 or 3.x to flash (uses edify scripting). Busybox must be installed to flash. Flash over a sense ROM (not Sprint stock, use preludedrew's or nfinite's version) or use my theme eraser. Flashing ROM then theme without booting first will result in boot loop. Flash ROM boot phone then flash theme.
If flashing the no-bee version or new icons version you must first flash Dread's Honeycomb then flash the version you want.

3.0 for both...i fixed it already though...does the recovery matter?
Not for this theme but as recoveries go 3.0 is required for gb roms.

I personally like the notification bar. Would it be possible to get just the themed notification bar as a flashable theme? I have everything else pretty much the way I want it, but the notification bar would be the topper that makes my theme

I'm pretty sure that is a known issue with transparent notification bar and Froyo, though it doesn't do it on mine (SS1.2)

Hi, thanks for the inquiry. My theme relies on Matted Blues, I am not 100% clear on everything that Matted Blues changed, so I need to wait for Matted Blues to update before I mod it to My version. Matted Blues indicated that it will be updated to unamed v2.0.0 soon, after he updates his core themes.

These are themes I made for when I was using the Galaxy S3 (RockRatts BadAss Themes) and decided to make them for the S4 as well. I will add to the colors as I go along.
You may ask WHY BADASS name. Well I called it that because the amount of files that get themed. I like to FULLY theme colorwise EVERYTHING I can for the effect. They are basically stock .png files with added twist for looks and character on main apps.
Confirmed working with 3Minit from a couple of testers THANKED below.

The Versions 1.8+ will be compatible with firmware versions 4.3 and 4.2.2. Tested on ShoStock/Shostick-i/VisionX and VisionX International firmwares.

IRONMAN BADASS THEME

IronMan Theme was made for my 10 Year old Son for his SGS2. So I thought I would make it for the S4 as well. It is a Mix of Black with Red, Gold, and a little Blue thrown in as well. It has my own Spiderman.apk filled with IronMan Wallpapers. There is a Gold Google Keyboard and a Red Samsung Keyboard included. Many apps are mostly Red Based as with my Red Theme and others mix it up with the Gold oart of the theme. Some Blue seperators inside some apps as well as Blue Icons with IronMan Powersource for the slider scrubbers. Hope others like it as much as my son does...

Yes. The easiest way is to reflash your ROM. You can dirty flash it so you do not lose anything. I do this all the time.
Anything that is included in the themes are for apps in /system so reflashing/dirty flashing your ROM would overwrite the theme files. I could make a revert theme but I would probably have to make them for every Samsung Based Roms and firmwares available.
Also if you make a nandroid backup BEFORE flashing this you could always restore the backup to what you had before with the stock version of the ROM.

Wow that is really, really blue! Now I understand what Blue Badass means :good::good:
This theme brightens up my phone --and I love the idea of the toggle switches in the notification area.

Thanks Axman. I started them on my S3 and posted them up. So I had a little head start on them in a way. But SO MUCH has changed between the file systems of 4.1 .1/4.1.2 and 4.2.2 on this phone it took a lot more work than I expected.

Shouldn't have white on white with the theme. What ROM are you on? What other themes/mods have you tried?
For the Red Theme there should not be any white bubbles and the stock colored text should be black. Let me know what ROM your on and I can take a look and see if I can figure it out for you.
Also here are the basic ideas of the bubble and none should be white

Just re-read your question. Shoot me a screenshot so I know what exactly to look for. I don't use messenger so I am not sure. What messenger as well? FB Messenger? I will download it if need be so I can see what is going on.

No you had it right the first time, sorry to confuse you. I'm sure it's on my end using golden eye but may have installed 3minit before your theme. Gonna stay over since I know it's not the theme. If it still gives me issues I'll let you know. If 3minit wl was the issue I'll update here as well. Thanks for your eagerness to help out!!÷
