General Info
I do not have a MT4G to test this on, so I would appreciate it if someone could a.) alert me, preferably on twitter, when a new build is made, and b.) let me know if the theme I post here works.
This theme is extensive with over 2000 edited .png files and more than 35 .xml files.
There are no icons included with this theme. If you would like icons, then you can use ADW.Launcher or ADW EX download Minimalist - ADW Theme.
If you would like to donate to me for my work in this theme, then you can download the Donate version of the above mentioned theme. Search for "Minimalist Donate - ADW Theme" to find it.
If you would like to port this theme to any other device or use any part of it for your own doing, then you can download my images and edited .xml files from this post.
You do not have to ask me if you can port this or use any part of it. You do not have to credit me for any of my work in this theme.
I will not be checking this page frequently, but I will try to answer any questions posted here whenever I update the links. If you want a quicker answer, then I suggest saying something to me on Twitter (@david1171_).
This theme is for the official CM7 Nightly ROMs.
Theme Info
The Music.apk in this theme is the Music Mod by Eliot Stocker.
The widgets are transparent with white text. I recommend using a dark wallpaper.
The font included in the theme is the Ubuntu font.
If you are using Amon_RA's recovery and the theme is not applying after flashing, then you need to use clockwork recovery.

Install Instructions: PLEASE READ!!!
1. Set MetaMorph delay to around 1000 (My exact number is 1054) then press Close
2. Press Unzip/Extract new theme
3. Navigate to where you have Minimalist_Lockscreen_Icons.zip located
4. Select the file
5. Press close on the on the pop up that appears
6. Press Apply all!
7. It WILL force close com.android.phone when it applies the Phone.apk, I do not know of any way around this.
8. While the force close pop up is on the screen, another pop up menu will appear behind the force close pop up and the buttons will say either Continue? or Stop; you must quickly press Force close on the force close pop up, then press Continue? on the other pop up menu; it will then start applying the framework-res.apk
9. The device may freeze up at this point, if it does freeze up (mine did), then wait about 30 seconds, then pull the battery and boot your phone
10. Everything should be applied now

I never log into the app, so I wouldn't have noticed that, thank you. It's fixed now. I'll include in the next release with it themed more. I changed where the widget_xxx.xml files sent out calls for color to the drawables.xml to point to the solid_white line instead of the lines they originally pointed to that I had changed to white from the original color.
Do you think you can add images for the lock screen unlock/sound off tabs? And also the phone/messaging tab if its enabled under cm settings. It looks cool with it being invisible but I kinda wanna be able to see it. Thanks man this theme is by far the best yet for this phone!

I don't know if this will work, but you can try clearing the data/cache for the market under settings/applications, then flashing the old market, then reflashing the theme and seeing if it works. If that doesn't work, then the only way I know how to fix it is to wipe your phone. I was plagued with the new market force closing when it was first released, but since I started using with the 2.2.9/2.2.10, I haven't had one force close with it.

i know if we install thru recovery it becomes part of system and only way to go back is to reflash rom correct? any way to maybe work with Cyanogen to make this one of their themes in their new theme section that way we are free to go back and forth? i dont think im only one who thinks that would rock

Currently, there are no guides (that I am aware of) of how to make a theme for the tmobile theme engine, and beyond that, I have no clue what all can be themed with it and what can't be themed. I have looked at the source for Cyanbread, and even if I could add every image in my theme to it, then I would have to write several thousand lines, so I really don't see this theme being made to work with the theme engine anytime soon unless can write a guide for creating them and/or for automating the process.

Here is a morph I put together for my device and figured I would share it with you. It basically replaces any of the "green" within Nero with blue. It also replaces the icons for all the AOSP applications with their AOSP style icon. Camera, Calendar, Contacts, Dialer, Calculator, Video Player, Music Player, Email and Browser. You can also replace the gingerbread keyboard with a blue one too Enjoy.
GingerBlue is available via Android Customization Suite - listed under camalot - thanks to birgertime for the great tool.
I've added to my build script so the ACS repo will be automatically updated to the latest version.
v1.7 is for Bionix-V 1.2.1 - I have not tested with 1.2.0 or any other versions. If you want to try, be my guest
v1.6 is for Bionix-V ONLY
Please do not use any of this mod in your own mod unless you ask first and I say it is ok. A lot of time has gone in to making this, tweaking things here and there, to get it right. MAKE A BACKUP FIRST!
Download Package and save to /sdcard/
Reboot in to Recovery
DID YOU MAKE A BACKUP?
Select "install zip from sdcard"
Select "choose zip from sdcard"
Select the GingerBlue package you downloaded
Select "Yes - Install ..."
Once Completed, Select "++++ Go Back ++++"
Select "Reboot System Now"
First Boot will take a long time ( 5 - 10 minutes, depending on how many applications you have installed ) as the application are cached by the system

I have had it where I occasionally get FCs when applying it. If I get them, I reboot and manually install the other items after it reboots. Or just try again. Ive had that happen with multiple morphs. It just depends on what apps are being changed, and if they are running when its happening.

Unable to get this morph working with Nero v1. Way too many FCs, I also tried installing each manually. Ended up having to restart everytime.

To people with force close problems, do the morphs one at a time, media and phone will require a battery pull.
I really like this theme, but I do have one request. Can you make the selection highlights the same color? The default orange is pretty ugly IMO. thanks!

I will do the selection highlights to the blue, I may even do the "textbox selections" too. I'm also working on changing the date to the gray color of the icons when the notification tray is expanded.
I am looking in to changing the time too, but that cant be done in a morph, as it requires a change to the services.jar. I would like to make it so its configurable in like settings but dont know if I can make that happen or not.
This is update sure did take too long but here it is for Fission 2.5.X and It is has quite a few new additions as well as one or two parts taken out for the better. The dialer is the Gingerbread dialer for now but it will be changed as well as a few social app themed as well so when I get the chance to work on them there will be and update to posted here and on Fission ROM Manager. Don't for get to check out new live wallpapers and all new UI sounds and bootanimation is included agian and removes itself if you switch to a new theme or ROM.

I am not RESPONSIBLE if your phone malfunctions or is corrupted in any way shape or form. This is also ONLY for Droid X and Droid 2 at the moment but I hope to make my way to other phones Fission supports as well....
Instructions have changed... You no longer need to mount or unmout system when in recovery. I have edited the install script to make it faster and easier to apply this theme over Fission as well as it being available on Fission ROM Manager and the Lite version as well... New instructions are as follows:
**After downloading the theme file place on root of your sdcard
**Reboot into clockwork recovery using Rom Manager or Bootstrap
** select: install zip from sdcard> choose zip from sdcard> Galaxy_S_Theme_x.x.zip
**Select "Yes - Install Galaxy_S_Theme_x.x.zip
**Navigate back to main menu and select "reboot system now"
There you go, that wasn't so bad. This theme is now up on Fission ROM Manager and Fission ROM Manager Lite, this will make it a lot easier by making it pretty much one click theme update...

i have frm loaded, and, in fact, have re-d/l it, but, blackout, gingerbread, third eye, & tron, are the only themes i have listed.

This will be fixed. Sorry for the lack of attention to this thread but things are pretty busy around my parts. There is a download link above and the script does all the mounting for you so though its not one click as with FRM but it is fairly easy. Hope this works for you for time being and it posted on FRM hopefully sooner rather than later.

You the best way is to download and install the Fission 2.5.7 upgrade then install Galaxy S theme. You can try to install right over thirdeye and you probly wont have any problems... I can check it out and PM later today

If you are on 2.5.7 with no theme then you don't need to install the upgrade before. It should run just fine. Don't be afraid to post any problems I can help no matter how small

Well I went ahead and installed the theme on top of third eye and I still have the third eye boot animation, the lights on keyboard dont work or the ones on the face of my phone and the keyboard is really small. This theme is awesome though I really like it.
Edit: all of a sudden I have lights on my keyboard but its still small. and I see a galaxy s boot animation in FRM. I don't see any galaxy s wallpapers though. Again thank you this awesome.

Ok, so here is something that should help with the small keyboard. Download "LCDDensity for root" (free) app in the Market and set it to 240, yes I know that is the stock setting but it should change the size of your soft keyboard back to normal.
For the live wallpapers all you should need to do is download and install the live wallpapers addon in FRM. Then you should be able to use them, if not reinstall Galaxy S theme again and it should all work.

lcd density froze my phone I pulled the battery and I think it may have changed the keyboard a little, it makes it alot easier to type.

The wallpapers won't work iv installed the live wallpaper addon and reinstalling the theme twice but I'm ok without it. The lights on the physical keyboard and the face of the phone work every now and then, battery manager force closes I don't use it anyway so I'm good. And that's it as far as iv noticed.

I have only one complaint of this theme and its that the battery indicator done not follow the 10% incriments like the others do. This theme goes from100% to 80% and skips 90% for me. If you could fix this that would be nice =)

[THEME][Updated][10/16] BluMagic\RedMagic for CM7.1 & RoyalGinger 3.0 & Goodies
Hello Everyone
This is something I threw together for myself and have put many hours into. I have decided to share it with everyone here on XDA! Please let me know what you think of it! I take no credit for the majority of images found in this theme! I have gathered the images from across the web and XDA . I just put them in the order I like them to be in. Also I did edit most of the images to match the color of the theme better. There are lots of images in this theme. So many I can't remember where they all came from. Much thanks goes out to everyone for doing a great job on these themes! If you find your work in this theme and would like credit or for me to remove it please PM me. I will give credit where credit is due.

Now for the usual disclaimer: I'm not responsible for ANY damages that may occur from you using this theme. You flash this at you own risk and assume full responsibility for your DEVICE. Always make sure you make a Nandroid Backup just incase something goes wrong.
IMPORTANT
How To Install/Flash This Theme
Nandroid Backup
Download your version from below
Download BluMagic Gapps if needed
Move the theme to the Root of the SD card
Wipe your Cache and Dalvik Cache
Install/Flash theme via Recovery/Rom Manager
Check out the Goodies below in the 2nd Post
That's it! Enjoy
Hit the Thanks Button
How to Mount System Manually Only for ClockWorkMod v3.0.2.4+
While in recovery scroll down to mounts and storage then select it. Scroll down to mount /system and select it. Then navigate back to the main screen and install zip from sdcard like normal. After flashing the theme the system will automatically unmount. That's it then just reboot.
IMPORTANT
Please follow these directions after you Flash BluMagic to ensure you get results from my Screenies
Go into the Theme Chooser App and make sure the System Theme is selected
Go into Settings < CyanogenMod Setting < Interface < Status bar Tweaks < Make sure Battery percentage is NOT checked
Go into Settings < Accounts & sync < Click your Account < Make sure Gmail is synced
Go into Spare Parts < Turn Window to Fast < Turn Transition animations to Fast < Make sure you DO NOT turn on Fancy Input animation
BluMagic Gapps
Alright so I have whipped up some BluMagic Gapps for everyone! I suggest you do a full wipe if you decide to use these Gapps. The themed gapps will no longer be included in the theme from version 2.2 and on. So if you want the Market, Gmail, and all the other gapps themed then flash the gapps after flashing your rom. This is mostly so I can try to keep up with the Nightlies.

This theme uses quite a few images from Steel Blue. Team Carbon has done a great job on a Theme Chooser theme for CM7. They even have multiple colors found in the market. You can check out thier theme and grab the apk for the times the Nightlies get ahead of me.

So I was poking around XDA as usual and found a great LCD Battery Mod! I asked if a blue version could be made and the OP LfcFan1977 had one ready the next day . Much thanks for him providing us with this great improvement to the theme. He has multiple colors for anyone looking check them out here.

The animations found in this theme are the Bounce, Flip, Flying, Fold and some from meXdroidMod Team. I mixed all of the animations together to create a unique blend. So they will be different then what is shown in the link above.

Engineering Bootloader 0.85.2007
Something everyone with a myTouch 4G should have is the Engineering Bootloader. It is a must and probably one of the best goodies we can get for our device. It will help you easily flash splash screens with Splash Flasher. It is very easy to flash and may actually save your device some day. Here is a thread with the directions and file needed to get the Eng. Bootloader. The directions are after the GFREE ROOT METHOD don't use those. Just keep scrolling untill you see this [OPTIONAL] Steps to flash engineering bootloader. Then follow the 10 steps provided and you will have the Eng. Bootloader. I really suggest you get the Eng. Bootloader as soon as possible. Please keep in mind a Nandroid won't fix this if you mess it up. Take your time and make sure your comfortable before you attempt it.

Splash Flasher
After getting your Eng. Bootloader head over here and grab TrueBlue_Drew's Splash Flasher. This will make it very easy to flash Splash Screens. It also has the instructions for flashing the Splash manually. Don't forget to hit that thanks button for his great work!

Transparent Apps
I use fernando sor's Transparent Apps in this theme because they look great! He has multiple colors of everything. I wanted to try and give everyone the option to choose. So you can find alternative apps from his thread. Don't forget to toss him a donation to keep him going.

if this is even half as good as your one for the MT3G-S then this is gonna look bad ass... my daughter loves your BluMagic on the red MT3G-S I gave her to use as her new Android Touch (she had a Behold2 but it bricked on her).
Thanks that means a lot . This has had a complete overhaul for the myTouch 4G and was thrown together pretty quickly. I have way more options now. This will see lots of changes in the future . So let me know if you don't like anything I'll fix it.

just flashed CM7 just so I could check this out... very clean looking man. are there any plans to do your Pink~A~Ton theme? I know a couple of girls who love that theme on my wife's MT3G-S that would love it on their MT4G.
side note : what is the font you're using in your screenies?
Thanks glad I could bring you back to CM7 . I'm sure I can port over pink~A~ton. It will take some time though. My wife is pregnant so theme time is getting slim. I'll try to get it out soon though.
The font in my screenies is a couple fonts mixed together in a special blend. I can post it up tomorrow.

cool. I understand about being short on time due to a pregnant wife. when I get time tomorrow I'm gonna try this out on faux's AOSP/CM Hybrid and RoyalGinger 1.6, I already tried it on RoyalGinger 1.5 and it would make it to the point in the boot animation where the hard key buttons would light up, then it would shutdown requiring a battery pull.
Okay let me know if it works . If I get enough requests for it I can always port it over.

Sick ass theme bro! Everything is fine,I just had one request. If somehow you could allow Facebook contacts to sync so all my contacts are in? Everytime I try to sync from the original Facebook it force closes. Thanks again,I came from royal thunder back to cm7 just because of this theme!

this isn't a complaint... but if or when you do an update could ya include the bootani you used for the MT3G-S? I pulled it out and changed screen size in the .txt file to make it look right on ours. it just seems "right" with that one over the "stock" CM one... might just be me though.

Thank you very much! Really glad I could pull you back to CM7 also . Facebook is having lots of problems right now. I can try to find a version that syncs the contacts properly. The version in the theme now is older but doesn't have sync option.

Yeah I can definitely add the bootanimation in the next release . I actually forgot to add it because I've been using Absolute System to change my bootscreen.

like the new wifi signal icon, data bars look like reeds in the wind status bar looks like it has more definition over the mytouch slide one that i was using. Looks really awesome.
Found this yesturday, on the lock screen when you hold the unlock and phone sliders they dont say anything when sliding, but the sliders on the right do(sound and message) doesnt bother me just pointing it out. No new icon for message yet? and 4g icon?
Those arent problems just point it out. But it is a very sweet theme.

INSTALL THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
This theme has been confirmed working on both stock 1.8.3 deodexed and gingerblur 3.5. It will shortly be update to handle gingerblur 4 (It may already, but I don't know what got changed yet).
Since most of the files were taken from Gingerblur, the name MinimalBlur will stay to pay respects to where most of the content is coming from.
REMOVE OLD VERSION BEFORE CONTINUING
I have written an uninstaller (Restore_0.3.zip), but it reverts to the last known files before 0.3 was installed. In order for it to work correctly, those need to be the stock files.
If you have MinimalBlur v0.1 or v0.2 installed, then flash the Ginger-3.5_MinimalBlur_removal.zip or Stock-1.8.3_MinimalBlur_removal.zip and reboot to go back to stock. Then boot back into recovery and flash the version of 0.3 you want.
First, the credits, because I really just stole things from people and used the digital equivalent of duct tape and spray paint to make my own version.

Yes, as long as there is enough interest in it. It shouldn't be that difficult to make lots of variations for it.

I just noticed that somehow I posted a zip that has a bug, if you hold the power button the phone will restart before showing a menu. I had found and fixed this once, but I must have grabbed the wrong file before zipping this all up. I will update tomorrow.

The only other thing I could think of is bringing the H or H+ up when its accessing the net. for me it just what I use as a reference to make sure data is actually being transferred. but If that was by design, then no worries.

What widgets are you using with this and did you theme them or are they just transparent?
All of the Widgets I am using are listed under "other used / needed" section in the first post. They are only themed with what the widget provides available to you by default (under the options menu's) tonight I am going to try and pack up as many backups of those apps as I can, so it can be as simple as "restore backup" for many of them.

It should display h+ if you are actually on h+. Otherwise it will say 3G
EDIT: oh and the arrows will show if data is being transferred. It shows nothing but the data type (eg. 3G) if nothing is happening but it is connected. It shows the data type with an x above it if it is not connected

I just posted an updated version that fixes the power bug. I will get to work on some color variations, but I don't know if I can get any up tonight.
I added a black theme, I will work on blue next. I will continue to try and make as many variations as possible in order of request popularity.

[1/14/12] - Updated to v2.2.0 and now Fully supports BulletProof Rom v2.2.0!!!! Well guys after chatting with xboarder56, I was finally able to get the FULL theme working again with no need to install a skin apk..... In order to do this I had to use almost all of the stock widgets from BulletProof Rom v2.0.1, there was no other way, but these widgets have been tested and everything seems to be playing nice again Because of adding all of the stock widget, the theme is now around 148mb, but it is only replacing the stock widgets that are already on you phone(It doesn't add any new ones, and they are not modded, they are just "plain Jane" stock widgets)...... No real changes to theme itself, mainly just updated to work with the latest BulletProof Release......... Enjoy!!
[1/7/12] - Updated to v2.1.1!!! Not many changes to the theme this time around, mainly just updated to work with BP v2.1.0.... A Major part of the theme is missing from the flashable files above in the OP but that is due to changes that X made to the Rom itself.... Later today or maybe tomorrow I will be posting a Skin apk that will cover the parts of the theme that are missing....... Enjoy!!!!
[1/7/12] - Updated Again !!!!! .... Changed several status bar icon's... USB Connected Icon, New SMS Icon, Linked Icon, and a few more that I can't seem to remember......Changed "New Notification" Badge(Seen on lock screen, on the Messages App in App Drawer, at the top Bar of the Messaging app when there is a new SMS and on the Messaging App Icon when it is on the Home Screen)...... Added Icons to Keyboard for these buttons - Enter button, Raise and Lower Keyboard button, Shift Button, Space Bar and the Back Space Button for both Keyboards....For the Keyboard With Arrows I added New Icons for the Arrow Buttons.... Fixed how some of the "Check Mark" icons were different so now ALL check mark icons are all Similar..... Made Check mark Icon in G-Mail App Bigger(Also now matches other system Check marks)This is seen when selecting a message in your inbox...... Sorry I did add all of this to the release from earlier today..... I hope you all enjoy!!!!

UPDATE - Looks like the theme breaks the phones ability to take a screen shot with a long press of the Power button and the Home key. Download this file and flash it in CWM just like you did with this theme....

I have been running BulletProof v2.0.0.0 for a few days now and I gotta say, this is one very fast and one very slick rom.... def will one of the best roms out there for the Amaze!!!! the dialer and KB that are used in this theme were both made a while back, back when I made my first DHD theme for virtuous rom with amresh.. I never used them because I couldn't change the color of the letters and numbers that are on the buttons... but that will be sorted out soon....
when X told me what colors he wanted for the theme, I knew that it would be a good time to finally use them.... glad ppl like like them

Is there a way to have the theme on all but the main screen? I really like the look but I don't want to get rid of my kitty picture on the main screen. She is just too cute to lose! On my WM phones, I could set it so the main screen had just an image of my choice but the other screens had the theme. On the Amaze or Android in general, the picture stays on all screens. Just curious.

you can just change your wallpaper from the default wallpaper that comes with my theme and select that rascal of a little kitten wallpaper that you have .... but it will change the wallpaper for all of the 5 home screens..... as far as I know you can not have different wallpapers on different home screens, if you want one then you have to have it on all pages..... It prob can be done, but that is beyond my skill set....

Use Multi picture live wallpaper in the market. It allows you to set an individual wallpaper for each screen.

This is one of the nicest looking theme for my personal taste but I am kinda old and my eyes just couldn't tolerate the transparent on the pull-down notification (I always have many apps on it to launch as a shortcut) The last time I installed it I can't read all of those black letter on the notification panel ...
Don't wanted to asked for too much but can you make a patch to make the notification panel become white/non-transparent? I really loves to have this theme on my phone though

By saying the last time I installed it, I means the Blue Grass theme from the same author/themer which can be found here.
