Stock ROM dumps that are modified (deodexed, etc.) from the manufacturer's original intent and then repackaged together classifies as development.
Kernel's and Recovery obviously classify as development as they are modified and compiled from source
☞ Themes are graphical/visual changes made to a ROM which make's the ROM visually different from the original work, i.e. different battery icons, a blue-color scheme, etc. They may be packaged up together with a full ROM and deployed the same way. Simply running a script (not made by you) to deodex and then packaging other people's work/MOD's into one place does not constitute original development.

As a member of XDA me and many others are trying to help and answer everyone with their questions. However some questions are device related and should not be asked here but at the correct forum for the device for example the Samsung Galaxy S3.

Type your devices name eg: Samsung Galaxy S3 or I9300/I9305 In the FIND YOUR DEVICE.. Searchbar and press enter. You will be redirected to the forum of your device. If you are not certain which version or phone you have: Open settings > About Phone > Model
You will be wondering why you should post your question there:
You will get a lot more response and comment from users with the same phone
It is device related so users with the same issue can report there and together you can solve it
The Q&A where you are posting now (not device related) is mostly used for devices without an seperated place or random android questions which are not device specified
Every phone is diffent aswell as the guides/how to's etc. At the device/phone forum place you can find them all at one place. Prevents you from searching through XDA developers
All other questions can be asked here. If you by accident place a question here. Dont worry it will be reported to the XDA staff so that it can be moved to the correct place

Recently updated the Wear app on my Pixel XL to version 2.0. I've noticed a delay when receiving notifications on my 360, sometimes up to a minute after they arrive on the phone. Also, some of them remain on the watch long after I dismiss them from the phone.
Anybody else...? Any possible fix?
Same issue here, definitely caused by Wear 2.0 - side load the older APK for now, and wait to see if Google fix this in an update (fingers crossed!) My delay was around 30 seconds... Annoying!
hello, after update i got boot loop, starts booting normaly and after M logo shows animated colored dots ans its all, tried to access bootloader for reset but only shows this

Timer in background...??
Have looked, have not found - any mention of the Bip 2 getting some kind of timers-in-the-background hack/feature/IDK. I suppose it's too much to ask for a multi-tasking OS which would make it easy. Need background timers or no Bip for me. -Any- news much appreciated.
I think the BIP 2 has a 200 mAh Battery as seen on the FCC Photos (https://fccid.io/2AC8UA1806/Internal-Photos/internal-photos-4123045 Page 4). Maybe someone can tell us something about the lcd which is shown on the last page? Tried to google the digits but didnt found anything.
Stucked or Bricked
Hi, anybody can help me, I have an Amazing Bip, I was Updating with Mi Fit, but its fail, now in the amazfit shows me in Activity a cronometer and I can't stop it or go in the settings for reset my Bip.
The Amazfit a1915 was working perfectly, does not restart the factory and is no longer stopping with any cell phone. I can't find the clock on the App Mi Fit. Only this message is displayed.
Can someone help me?
