WM7 for Defy - Defy Themes and Apps

http://www.next-level-android.blogspot.com/
(no credit for me)

anybody wanna test this out?

OMG that looks sweet.

I had tried this before and its not something very attractive. There are other members who tried it with an app for such UI. One such post can also be found in the "Screenshots" of home screen topic found in the apps section.

No thanks, I have some humility left.

Not sure why it's either classic or funny but whatever. Anyway I think it's a fine looking theme.

Because GNU is the exact antonym of "Microsoft software".
And I can't stand the idea of this theme being tried on an Android device.

Just wanna say that i've made this theme
Please follow my blog and my youtube channel if you want more themes.

Nicely done. I'm using your Defy 7 theme now with my own little spin on it. Will be posting screen shots in the screenshot thread later today.

I will give this UI a chance. Downloading.

What you need for this:- Launcher (ADWLauncherEX, Launcher Pro, etc.)-MultiPicture Live Wallpaper (klick)-DesktopVisualizer (klick)-Windows Phone 7 UI (klick)-and of course, an Android phone... Step 1: Launcher settingsGo to your Launcher settings and change the Icons per sites option (Columns 6, Rows 10).After...

Well, it should be removable after trying it out, hence it could be worth a try, mh? - At least as long as you're not totally happy with your standard themed android.

[Q] Honeycomb Theme for Archos 101

I looked a bit in the XDA Forum and saw some Honeycombe themes.
The Problem is, that these themes are for the CynaogenMod.
Is it possible to get these themes running on Archos 101?

Nope We have no Cyanogen = We cant have Cyanogen Themes
But there are many Launcher Pro/Adw Launcher/etc... Themes and they look like honeycomb
Or...psst... try the Dark Theme by SilentRazor, my opinion is, it looks better than honeycomb
Which themes do you mean?
I only find themes that change the background and or the icons, but thats not enough for me
And pssst i already tried SilentRazors Theme
The problem is that it looks good, but lags like hell :S
Perhaps you could clarify - when you say "themes", what are you referring to? What exactly do you want to change?

Themes for CM7

Here are some nice Themes for CM7:
I hope a thread like this doesn't exist already in Defy Forum
You just have to install the ".apk" file and select it in Theme Chooses, after that you have to reboot the phone so all icons show up.
And you only should use hdpi themes
If you found some other interesting themes please post them
Two threads already
Ephumuris. Defy CM7 by Quarx.
Very nice themes, I have used "JAMT - White Gradient", a white theme.
i think the honeycomb theme is the best one...
yep, i really like the honeycomb one too.
I was wondering if it's possible to change the appearance/icons of the sliders in the lockscreen in a simple way. I tried widget locker but found it laggy.
If anybody as a cool solution, I'm interested in it. thanx
Can we merge the two threads ? Some screenshots would be nice too .... btw what are the best ones you have tried ?

When you click on the 2nd Link you can see some Lockscreens under "Basic Add-Ons".
And then scroll down to "Instructions for ZipThemer" there you can see how to do it.

Hey Rahul,
You don't have to resize any images to be honest. But I usually only resize the power menu icons to 24x24 so that they're all the same size. Also the notification bar icons to the same size, 16x16 or 8x8, because otherwise some icons look huge in comparison to others.
For instance, the gps icon should be the same size as the battery icon. Do you know what I mean?
^ok....
Can you also suggest tools for resize

Sorry for the slow reply. I've been on vacation since Thursday afternoon. What ROM are you currently using?
That screenshot looks like it was from an earlier version of the minimal matte theme. I would suggest using the newest 2.0 and see if that fixes it!
If not let me know and I will check into that for you!
You are great guys, i know there are a lot of forums where you can find everything step by step but nothing can be better for newbies than a wellmade video

I was always thought that the text color is within the actual ROM itself. Let me ask Lestat if it's within the framework apk file though.

Idk if the rings are movable or just eye candy, but just thought id like to share.
I assume we need s-off for this.
that looks like some serious work. and doesn't look like to me that u need s off for that. i see themes with different lockscreens and nice widgetlocker setups all over the forums.
thats real nice and clean though

Yes. But I just noticed it's NightOwl. He's the one that made the lock screen I was talking about. I'm sure it's his work. The original lock screen he made is at the link below. You'll have to search for the other mod.

I have a question. If the theme has been posted by the user HebrArtin, why there is YOUR name in the 3rd screenshot on orange wallpaper? It has been stolen from you i initially thought, but i thought also that it wouldn't make sense seeing you writing "nice theme" without asking for credits... What's going on? This looks weird.
