HOW-TO install these icons
There is a simple and easy to use tool about editing your current framework in order to make your custom one available in this link:
THEME PRO
or
APK MANAGER
All the icons (.png format) should be placed in the drawable-hdpi folder.
All the xml files should be placed in the drawable folder.

Good Job!!!
Nice work man Looks really good!!!

Awesome. Now if I only knew how to do something with them all lol

I tried but it didn't work for me.
I used ninjamorph and created a project for each file (Frameworkres.apk & com.htc.resources.apk) and for the most part everything works great. The only problem I ran into is thatI now have no signal bars. There is the space for the bars and using the program 'signal status' I can see space for the bars, but I only get a blank space. I will try re-flashing my rom and try again to see if I messed up or missed a single file or something.

Any way you can make the circular battery mod version D white letters for our phone. I tried using the kitchen and it didnt work for me. It reboots on me I'll send a donation your way.

soooo lost...couldnt it just be made into a flashable zip?

I think these are pre-made graphics that can be pieced together into a flashable zip. If you look the packages actually have repeat icons in different colors or with/without animations.
This is here to make things easier for rom-builders and themers.

Problem with color taskbar icons

I am currently running TeixeiraBMB b2 WM6.5 21500 TF3D2 with radio 1.14.25.05. Im having an issue with color taskbar icons. Icons that are either part of a rom or installed via a cab file dont fully appear. While the speaker, bluetooth, battery and wifi taskbar icons appear in color, the 3G icon does not. Also, the signal strength bars don't show, just the satellite dish icon. If I click on it, it opens the notifications window where it shows the signal strength bars. The attached pictures will give you a better idea. This is not specific to any rom as I have tried various different roms, radio roms as well as rilphone.dll files for the corresponding radio. I have been trying to figure this issue out for some time with no luck. Searching has got me no where. Can anyone shed any light as to whats happening? Thanks for any help.

Youd get alot more useful responses if you posted this in the rom thread.
If the taskbar is not specifically made for 6.5 it will break the icons. The icons in shellres are in a different location. Your H signal icon is off because its reading from the wrong dll file.

The thing is that this problem is not specific to just this rom which is why I posted it here. I have had this same issue with other 6.5 roms. The screenshots of the rom posted by the chef (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3587147&postcount=1) show color 3G icons but it doesn't work for me. Which dll file contains the H/3G icons and how would I be able to point to the correct file? From what i've read, the windows folder contains shellres.192.dll, shellres.dll, shellres.dll.0409.mui which usually contain the taskbar icons. correct me if im wrong. So how would I go about pointing to the correct files? Thanks for your help.

If those particular dll and mui files are not from 6.5 they will not display correctly. The rom author states that the signal bars do not show with that taskbar. The one 12aon posted works perfectly. I also have one im customizing for my 6.5 rom that works so far for me. Its very important that developers use 6.5 files for 6.5 taskbars.
As for the H icon check HKLM/Security/Resover/Bitmaps
Make sure the BaseDLL is set to phcanoverbmp.dll which is the file it should be pulling that icon from.

I verified that the phcanoverbmp.dll file contains all the color icons for H/3G/G/E and that file is being pointed to in the registry and yet its still not showing the proper icons. where else in the registry could the icons be linked?
I think this thread will be of help to you:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=503647
I was having the same problem, and we're currently working on fixing it. 12aon has a taskbar that seems to work on 6.5 (as already noted by aruppenthal).

right now you can use this utility - CSMI.
icons, which generated by IconHelper, can be found in \Windows\IconHelper.
or you can wait until I install Manila, look into its settings and make change icons directly from my app.but unfortunately, I can't do it until next week .
Thanks for sharing!
Great app! This app is soo much better than jwmd cos it can change some of the icons which jwmd and csmi cannot. But can I suggest something? When selecting the icon to use, is it possible to show a preview of the icon like jwmd? This is because some icons have weird names and I don't really want to rename 400+ icons. Thanks!!!!

Use total commander and go to this location Device\Application Data\HTC\ProgLauncher clear out all the BMG files there, or just the ones who's icons you changed, then soft reset (reboot) your phone then apply those apps to quick links and you should be set.

[THEME] Dread's Purple for the ladies MikShift and NFX versions 3/28/11

This of course is a purple sense theme for the ladies. Two versions available; deodex (NFX) and odex (MikShift). Theme also includes custom font (Doctor Jekyll) and bootanimation (dancing droid). There are some different shades of purple included in the theme (tried to keep them as close as I could). Couple things still green but for the most part its purple. I haven't tested the MikShift version so if anyone tries it let me know how it works. A big thanks to sublime1184 for the progress bars! If you don't like the included font then just flash Default Fonts included below.
Credits:
sublime1184 for the hex edits to the progress bars (purple).
nfinitefx45 used his 2.0 ROM as a base for the deodex version.
aamikam used his ROM as a base for the odex version.
Disclaimer:
I'm not responsible for anything that may happen to your phone.
Instructions:
Make a nandroid just in case. Use CWM 2.5 or 3.x to flash (uses edify scripting). Busybox must be installed to flash. Flash over modified stock ROM. It will not work if flashed over Sprint stock ROM. Flashing ROM then theme without booting first will result in boot loop. Flash ROM boot phone then flash theme. Theme Eraser available for a deodex ROM.

Wow, you're quick with these mans. I love having so many choices! Awesome, once again.
My wife <3 you.
Toasted by Nightly.
The purple tone I picked for the volume was based off your screenie and I think it blends bad but I'm not sure if it is because of the clock widget being in the background or the pop up background. Tonight I'll make some more variations with lighter tones if anyone wants em.
Nice work on this one bruh. I'm gonna have to show it to my shorty. I'm sure she's gonna love it purple is one of her faves

HTC clock/weather widget
I applied this theme on my wife phone this morning, I'm betting she's gonna love it. Two problems thought, your screen shots showed the clock/weather widget in purple, but it stayed the default colors on my wife's shift?
I think I see what you did. Is that Beautiful widgets, just using a purple clock skin on the home weather widget?
I have also noticed that the "3G" icon on the notification bar does not show an indicator for data in and out, just says 3G

Yep, beautiful widgets. And the "3G" does change colors for data in and out. Both 3G for data in and out and seperate letters highlighted for data out or in. Its a subtle highlight but its definitely there.

[MOD] Blue and White battery% + Status toggles mod (Based on p3001ee's) HD Icons

Completely re-done this mod based off the great status bar mod made by p3001ee
This is an ICS mod with status bar toggles and the battery changed to my custom percentage battery icons.
To install just flash in CWM. Tested on stock ICS and KA10 but should work with any.
Now four versions!
StatToggle_BlueBattery.zip - Blue battery
StatToggle_BlueBattery_BBar.zip - Blue battery plus brightness bar
StatToggle_GreyBattery.zip - Grey (desaturated) battery
StatToggle_GreyBattery_BBar.zip - Grey battery plus brightness bar
UPDATE (20th July) I have replaced the toggle icons with higher res images and the nice gradient bar.
This is the blue battery version:

Yeah thats looks pretty sick, well done.
What about a version with the outline of the battery removed, might make it more even compared to the other icons?
I can't use it to confirm .73 right now but i will be soon.

So taking the great work of kahei036 here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24297751&postcount=14 I have further modded the battery to blue instead of green as I use a blue theme across my XS. I also moved the numbers down which I think looks quite slick. It goes orange below 20%, red at 10% and glows red at 5% as in kahei036's original.
Screenshot:
To apply I used Root Explorer. Unzip the below and copy the framework-res.apk to your sdcard.
With Root Explorer move it to \system (you'll need to enable read/write) then change the permissions to rw-r--r--
Then move it \system\framework overwriting the one that is there (you might want to copy the original out first for backup)
Reboot and you are done!
I am using this on .67 firmware but it should work with .73 as the Android version is the same. If someone can confirm that'd be great.

can you do this with ICS framework.res please?
or tell us how to do it XD
is it work with the ICS?
Thanks for the great work
Can you please tell us how to do it ??
It's actually quite simple. All I did was pull the framework-res.apk out to my desktop and open it with 7zip. Inside is a res folder and inside that are various 'drawable' folders. The Xperia S is an XHDPI device to I pulled out the drawable-xhdpi folder and inside that are all the battery icons. The painstaking bit was manually editing every icon with GIMP
Once that is done, you just put the drawable folder back into the apk (drag and drop it back into 7zip) and then push the framework-res back to the device.
It's easy really.
I am working on the mod for ICS now. The battery is in SystemUI.apk for that but the process is mostly the same. Looks like the XML in drawable will need editing too though as standard ICS only has about 5 stages of battery images instead of 100
Updated for ICS, see the first page for details and downloads
Great!
Charging icon does not move (im now at 95% batt charging)
worked like a charm
thanks
Can you make a white one please?
Sorry I meant white and for ics pleeeeaaaaase

Hey Jimmy,
Thank you for the very nice theme.
I want to make a suggestion:
Can you please make the battery charging animation faster (it is very slow now) and also show the battery percent after each animation.
Thank you in advance
Oh, and something else: Would you please make an icon for the messaging (sms) application too?
