Im currently porting a gingerbread theme and need some help . The theme is done a CM framework:

"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
As the picture shows , the text in the circled area is not showing as its background is black. May I know which image file in the framework-res.apk is used for that background?
Thanks in advance

I am currently working on that
I'll put white background there...

Well i got white background,here's the picture of it:

Which files did you edit?

I really don't know.
I think it's the menu_background_fill_parent_width.9.png cause if i edited menu_background.9.png browsers "more" menu got transparent.

White Background
Its better than in picture

[HELP]MMS theming help please!

I just can't figure out why my text don't align properly. I tried many times and can't get it to work. Someone please lend a hand to a desperate man....
I'm using apk manager to decompile etc...
This is what I do:
Extract MMs.apk>decompile>edit XMLs for font colors>compile "select Y for system apk>select Y again - delete resources XXX and edited files">sign apk. I get no errors. I use eclipse to sign the .9png as well.
I made the bubbles from editing the originals, and I think they look ok as far as I can tell. The text changed color as it should. I'm ready to trow my pc out the window!!!
BTW- What file do I need to edit so I can make the blue header with pic and phone number black?

Edit Pulldown Toggle Bar?

ive been loving many of the 2.3 roms that have been coming out. but one thing i miss from most of the 2.2 roms was that the pull down toggle icons rarely had the words beneath them. what do i have to edit to remove the words and leave just the icons?
currently running jetpack 3.0 with the jetpack ui...modified to my tastes (all black). just need to get rid of the words on the toggle pull down. if anyone can show me the way!!!
really...no help?
so i assume this a mystery to everybody apparently?

have a look at uot kitchen, might be able to do it there
you need to replace two images in the drawable-hdpi folder of the twframework. I attached the images I used, just use a photo editor to color them however you want them
Edit: here's pics of before and after when I figured it out.

Your screenshot link is down.. can you give a little more detail about the red notification? Most images in the pulldown menu and status bar are located in the SystemUI.apk though.. sometimes framework-res.apk.. in general.
i mean this red circles.
here is a new pic.

[Q] Status bar app background

I'm using Neat ROM Lite 3.2.1 and I'm wondering how to edit the framework-res or SystemUI to get the colored app background in the status bar (as shown in yellow in the image below). It's the blueish part on the left side where the icons are.

}
This is what the stock Samsung status bar looks like
I tried using Wanam's apk manager to decompile the framework-res/systemui of my rom and compare the xmls to those of JB roms, but I couldn't find where to change it. I'm thinking it might be something to do with SystemUI.apk/res/drawable/status_bar_item_background.xml or framework-res.apk/res/drawable/status_bar_item_app_background.xml
but I can't figure out how to do the change. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
It could actually be a .PNG image in the res/drawable-hdpi folder. That's where I would look first
