- Ese no es el archivo original de SE. Ese es el del xrecovery que sobreescribió al original.

i just got a brand new x10 and it says that i have the newest firmware, 2.6.29-rel R1FB001. How can i debrand and get the lastest firmware? SE updater says that i have the lastest but since telcel sux i dun believe it.

no tienes que hacer nada de eso deja el logo de telcel donde esta,, hoy hice la actualizacion y obtuve el firmware mas actual checa los datos que te dejo y los links

No bro, if you want your x10 debranded without all the telcel carrier crap include, just find the guide for debranding. Search at google X10 xperia debranding tutorial, Its easy!!! Or root your x10 using the rooting method post in this forum. Any doubts? dont hesitate and send me a PM

No mijo, si tu quieres tu x10 sin las mamadas de telcel, dame un minuto y pon atencion (ja!) usa la guia de debranding. Busca en google xperia x10 debranding tutorial. O usa el tutorial de rooting que esta posteado en este foro. Es muy facil!

Edit: Ya revisé un post en el que dicen cómo rootear en un par de clicks directo desde el cel. El post se llama <CALL FOR STICKY>painless root for x10 in 5 seconds (TESTED ON MY X10i).

I also have a X10 with Telcel, and also want to remove all the Telcel crap. I updeted the X10 to the new firmware but still don`t have the "automatic configuration" for using with Movistar Mexico. I
My only question is how to rooting it and still keep the original telcel rom in case of warranty.
Any help will be apreciated.

I've seen that I don't have the gtalk application. But the service is there and it's running!
Also, when I use the quick search option, which should show me google results when I select to search on the web, it shows me telcel results.
I assume it's a telcel thing, maybe they did some changes to exclude some services.
How can I re-activate those services?
Do I need to install the respective ".apk"? If so, which .apk should I install? Because the services are there and running.

Para hacer el upgrade yo usé y uso el build.prop brasilero que anda por acá para e10a, con la que tenía, si bien era debranded todavía no hay actualización, prefiero tener que borrar algunas aplicaciones en brasilero y tener actualizaciones seguido que esperar 6 meses por un upgrade.
Me extendí en español, pero la idea es casi la misma.

Have you tried updating thru SEUS? it's safer if you want to stick to 2.1 but if you want to upgrade to 2.2ROMS you can find a lot on this forum. The devs here are really great to help you...Just search on

You should be able to update your phone with the SEUS, or PC companion
Which firmware(rom) update did you go with?

El lio principal es que el cwm recovery aparece desalineado en la pantalla no se entiende nada, por ende no puedo solucionar otro problema que genere al instalarle una rom de x8 al u20i, y si no instalo una rom correcta no puedo corregir mi error en los recovery, porque tiene como tres el x8toolbox me instalo el recoverydual o algo asi, pero a ninguna se podía ingresar asi que instale el cwm por medio de copia con el rootexplorer

I don't know whether its true, but have you installed a version of CWM recovery which is not meant for your phone?
Building CWM recovery via online recovery builder don't work all times, and there is no guarantee that it would be a stable version for your phone.
Second is, have you installed a ROM meant for X8 to U20i?
(I'm not sure which are these devices, as you didn't provide the name of device)
But taking into consideration, if you install a ROM which is meant for another phone, it simply won't work either.

Tengo una tablet que por haber cambiado la rom la aplicación de Kurio se abre pero dice que no se puede correr en la tablet porque no es un dispositivo admitido.
Investigando las clases.dex dentro del apk me he encontrado que para poder abrirse la aplicación requiere que coincida el modelo ,el dispositivo, el display y el usuario, como yo no sé mucho de Android quería pediros ayuda para intentar ver cómo recompilar ese APK ya que en principio al descompilarlo me aparece en modo lectura.
La tablet es una Kurio con Android 4.0.3 ICS sin embargo yo tengo Android 10 he intentado abrir la aplicación y al parecer me pone el mismo mensaje lo que significa que no tiene una versión máxima de SDK.
Agradecería mucho vuestra ayuda porque además esta tablet es para un niño el cuál ahora está muy triste porque la tablet no funciona y llevo un mes dia y noche intentando buscar la rom y lo único que he conseguido es perder el tiempo entonces no solo por mi sino por el niño que agradecería que podais ayudarme.

Files with extension .dex are DalvikEXecutables - they hold app's program code/logic.
You can decompile .dex-files using the dexdump tool which is provided in Android-SDK.
Your issue is a complete other one: The device's stock launcher isn't working due to unexpected system environment. Note that an app's pre-requisites to be successfully run are defined in its APK's Manifest.xml and NOT in any .dex-file.
