Is there a way to emulate G1 trackball via Atrix soft keyboard?
ConnectBot uses trackball for arrows/cursor movement, CTRL/ESC sequences etc.
Any help appreciated since now I have to go back to G1 for any ssh work ...

I use a Freedom Universal Keyboard 2 with my HTC HD2 and word processing, e-mail and text messages, which I find very helpful.
Recently, I flashed the ROM to the latest version. Now, I can no longer get the keyboard (which uses Bluetooth) to pair with the HD2 device: when I try to search for the keyboard, it fails to find it. The batteries on the keyboard are fresh (the green light flashes), and I have tried pressing the "B" button several times to get it to be recognised, all to no avail.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do about this? It really is a problem for me, as I need to use it to take notes quite often, and not having it makes things very difficult, as I use the HD2 instead of a laptop. Any assistance would be extremely gratefully received!
Has anyone installed Ubuntu on toshiba thrive? I ran through the instructions and it works perfectly except the keys are all mixed up on the keyboard (when i hit s it types b, etc.). I have ran through several pages about remapping the keys, changing the locale, and others but nothing works. I can ssh in and all works well but anything in gui gets remapped to the wrong keys. I also was able to vnc in from a workstation over wireless (which is awesome) but i get the same results there as well. All in all it's very impressive but not useable in this state.
My sister has an Epic 4G and her touchscreen doesnt respond to touches. Is there an app (non-root) where she can get a mouse cursor so she can select things. She currently has no way to answer calls. If there's a root app, that'll help. Maybe I'll root her phone if she absolutely needs it.
Hi,
After a few hours of trying, I finally got the webtop to work to the new partition and without the dock station.
When I plug the tv in, the Webtop activate correctly. But when I try to use the application in the phone, nothing is happening. No application will launch other thant the one in the webtop bar.
I also have no keyboard showing on screen. Is there a way to bring it up?

you mean apps with mobile view or? also you can reconfigure your Webtop via Webtop2SD
Last 10 days I had this problem of softkeys not working(due to probable digitiser problem) and virtaually mt Atrix was unuasable. Thanks to v-stromer http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=4634654 I was able to locate the following application

Hope this helps others also who have similar problems
