Changing icons - help

Hi all, i want to make my screens look something like 1153th post in "Post a (phone/desktop) picture of your X10 thread" (Sorry,im not able yet to give direct links)
but with edited icons (i am willing to change the pic of any of the icons.font and the transparent background line under the text using PS5 , but i dont know what exactly are the dimensions of the icons.
if someone can upload for me icon sizes like 2x1 , 1x2 , 1x1 3x1 and 1x3 ill be very thankfull.
Also if someone willing to explain me how i can change the icons ( i mean with what program to do that). and if yes, how to use the specific program also?
I am not looking for the icons from the uploaded pics! just their sizes, specificly for Xperia X10!
When im done, ill upload my new icons and screenshots from my phone.
Thanks in advance.

Depending on what you want to change, I find it easier to pull and edit apks, which you can learn how to do here - [Guide] Hacks and mods: Three tutorials for modifying your x10 OS aesthetically

[REQUEST][SUGGESTION] I created an example

I drew a proposal, but do not know to create a mod, drew in a way that serves as an example.
Used as a basis:
- "GLOWbean - Silver Status BAR"
- Icons of Windows phone
- Small base of stock
I created an example in photoshop and Illustrator.
Thank you for your attention :fingers-crossed:
Nice design I like it, it's simple not like the majority of the ugly themes round here. Maybe bobfrantic can help you, he know how to make statusbars, he made some nice ones with middle clock, maybe he has some time, ask him. Or maybe you will get help from other moder who know how to theme a statusbar, good luck

I do not have ...
I can create, but wanted a base sizes.
You could send me a package, or some measurements?
Example: 3x4mm, if you want to png, gif...
Or use the same icons of "GLOWbean - Silver Status BAR" (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2152667)
modifying the space where it is the name of the mobile operator. As in my example.

Seems kegit
I don't think I am qualified to be on a design team. I was just wondering if their is a way to design my own theme from scratch or at least learn how to modify a current theme. I will check out the videos...

Yeah, i also read the entire tutorial, but seems too work for me apply a theme, delete all elements, and start create something from scratch. But it seems the only way to normal people like me to create new themes.
thanks time to make my own themes

We're working on a function that lets you start with a fresh blank screen, but for now you'll have manually remove the widgets etc. We apologize for the inconvenience.
the ability to start from blank screen would be very good, but to be honest I haven't seen the video but find it more fun to see how others have worked a theme then edit etc to suit my own needs,by adding or removing items. One feature I would like however is the ability to switch styles without having to go into settings and applying an exported style a bit long winded for me,a quicker solution would be great.
nice one!
+1
add a blank empty theme into the gallery???
are there any templates or do i just pick the resolution i want in PS and overlay the grid according to the themer settings? (9x9 for example?)
already use a blank template but would be good to start from scratch within the launcher
As in a blanl photoshop template? Would it be alright to grab a copy please?

What we meant is an option to select "Apply a blank setup", that will include something along the lines of a single blank white page with now icons or widgets. For now though you can still achieve this, simply remove all the pages on your current theme as well as all the icons and widgets and then export the theme to use it later.
To export/save a theme: Themer Settings > Advanced > Export Theme. This theme will now be saved in the Exported section of the My Themes tab.
Hope this helps!

[Q] How Themer is built?

Hi
I am curious on how a theme is built using Themer, correct me if I am wrong. In a very basic way, here is the way a theme is put together
1 - create wallpapers in Photoshop, at the right size and res, with all the info, icons shapes, you name it. This create a static image.
2 - Using Zooper Pro one places hot spots where we want something to happen,: open mail, show weather, numbers of miss calls, etc......
Is that OK , did I missed something?

Hi, that is more or less correct.
Many new themes use a standard wallpaper so that users will have the option to change it without affecting the theme's appearance (such as text won't disappear).
Any one of Themer's built-in widgets can be used, not just Zooper, but you're correct in saying that hotspots are assigned to specific actions.
Lastly, icons can always be added if the designer wishes
Anything else you'd like to know?

Doesn't really matter, it's all completely up to you. We do recommend using a high-res wallpaper though if other users wanted to apply the theme, and they're using a 1080p resolution device.

Amazfit Custom Notification Icons for iOS users

After pairing my Amazfit PACEfied with iPhone I couldn't live with the fact that almost all notifications had the same generic icon.
I did my research and found out that the icons are located in the folder of /sdcard/.ble/icon and named after the app's respective bundle identifier, such as ph.telegra.Telegraph.png with 80x80px size.
If someone wants to test some icons
(as a new user, I'm unable to post links or pictures)
I made a bunch available at "bit ly 2rPIZz8" for the apps I use.
You can add your own app icons as well. The service of "offcornerdev bundle id finder" helps finding the necessary bundle id and to download the icon. Remember to resize it to 80x80 pixels to work natively. I used "picresize batch" processing.
