Open Frost using WinRar. System>framework>framework-res.apk>res>drawable>>>>>>>Default_wallpaper<<<<<<<<<<<<<

I'm able to find other wallpapers within the framework-res.apk\res\drawable but not the picture that showed up when I first booted frost. Its the one with the girl holding that diamond with the blue goo on it. I really like it and I'm not able to find it to apply it once again.

You might try asking one of the Team Whiskey guys to put it up. Have you tried looking around on their website?

Try looking here http://board.teamwhiskey.com/viewforum.php?f=9&sid=988af7eb2a03259eb543435b68353927 it's a link to the themes section of the Team Whiskey website.

I've tried looking in themes on Team Whiskeys page and I'm still not successful. I've posted a similar topic on there site as well about this. I appreciate the help from those that have posted cause it is just a picture. You'd think it would be easier to find than this.

Using the above mentioned method using unrar or root explorer by user "cito11", select "default wallpaper" as mentioned, but be sure your in the "drawable-hdpi" folder, not just drawable and extract it. I had the same issue because the thumbnail displayed is not the girl. But once extracted and viewed in gallery, it is indeed the beautiful blue princess... Lol good luck

This is how I found a wp,that I needed.
Using root explorer,went to system/app/launcher,long pressed,extracted to sd,went to sd/extracted/launcher/res/drawable-land-hdpi or drawable-hdpi.
Scroll down to the wp .jpgs copy/paste back to wp folder in sd.
There's probably a shorter method, but this worked for me.
Mundusvultdecipi was correct and thanks to he and Cito11,I've found an easier method.

Wow I was opening the default_wallpaper but not extracting it since it was showing up as a different pic. How weird. Thank you guys!

Avatar, File Not Found, Yes I've read other threads

Hi XDA:
I still have the Avatar movie on external sd card, pushed the avatar.apk file to /system/apps, and made sure the proper movie sub directory was copied from an old back up to my internal sd card under the sd card directory. Still getting ' file not found' when click Avatar icon. I can watch the movie using the video player and I'm sure this is something small that I've forgotten, and I researched other threads regarding this issue but cannot find an answer. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. I'm currently running Nero v3. Cheers.

Same issue. I was never able to figure it out so I just use the video player to launch it.

If anyone can shed some light on this it would really be appreciated. I am selling one of my Vibrants as I've just purchased a Nexus S and I'm trying to get this working for them before I ship it. Thanks again

This has to do with the different ways 2.1 and 2.2 name the external sd card - 2.1 calls it "sd" or "sdcard" (can't remember...been a while since 2.1), while 2.2 calls it "external_sd." So, you need the Avatar apk that has the correct name in the movie filepath.
The attached apk's should solve your problem. If you are running a 2.2 rom, then use the one I attached named "Avatar_22." Push it to your system/app just like you were doing before.
Disclaimer: I did not make the 2.2 compatible Avatar shortcut. I had this same issue and found it somewhere on this site, but figured I'd just share the apk instead of trying to search out the original source. If this makes someone mad, let me know and I'll give the proper credit or remove it - whichever you prefer.
Awesome.. Exactly what I needed and I'll give it a whirl once I arrive home from work. Thanks.

Worked perfectly already tested it here. Thanks so much, I'll +1 to your thanks meter once I can get to my home computer. Cheers.

You're welcome. Glad it worked for you.
Thank you. That fixed my issue too.

Cupcake icon pack?

So I'm trying to help my mom make her phone amazing and she wants to make her icons different cupcakes. Ans I've searched everywhere but nothing. So could you guys help me out? Thanks
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Have you done a basic google search for free icons? There are several sites that offer them, mind you they ate typically for you computer but work just fine on our phones. I actually think I remember seeing a cupcake icon pack awhile back. You would use Better Cut from the market to apply them. .png is a perfect format and check all the links that come up on the first page of a google search. Also im not sure if anyone has done an ADW theme for that so check the market also for ADW. Good luck

Wallpaper location?

I'm an ass, so I posted this a couple of other places before it occured to me to post my question in the proper section. Sorry about that. Here goes.
Where do I find the actual wallpaper files in a rom? I'd like to pull a wallpaper from one rom to use with another, but I've been searching with root explorer for the last hour and I've got nothing. Any help is welcome.

Backing up the wallpapers is easy. Adding them to the new rom, not so easy. Give me a few minutes and ill see if i can find where the wallpapers are stored.
they are in the .apk of the launcher

Request x10i cm 6.1.3 how to modify sliding unlock panel?

hi,everyone i just see a topic at http://bbs.gfan.com/android-991387-1-1.html modify x10i sliding unlock..but after i try it up seem no working anyone can help?
Lock screen images are located into the framework_res.apk..you should change these images with new ones and then sign the apk pack and overwrite your existing framework. You must consider that if you made something wrong, your phone stuck on se bootlogo!!

That except signing the apk. If you sign it then you will end up in a bootloop.

You mean, on correct place (question & answers)
Moved to proper forum.
A simple way is to use meta morph.
It's an app for cm.7
You can get it from the market.
Search around and find the zip files of the morph's you like.
I found them here on xda.
I'm using blue.
(search morph's)
I would add the links but I'm on the xda app and it's a pain in the butt.
it says the won't work with cm.6.
But I'm ruining cm6.1.2
And it worked like a charm.
Skinned a bunch of other things on my phone too.
Back up first...just incase.

Are you using the actual market version? or the you one found here in XDA? Wonder if it will work on Wofbreak's CM 6.1.3?
The market version.
I'm interested to see if it works for you too.

well the post on that forum that the OP linked says that all you have to do is to modify the image files for the lockscreen in the framework-res.apk, then tick all boxes in the permissions.

Any one have the TWI app. .apk

So I see it's been removed from market. The better one with the mod section. Any one have the apk. Its a free app.

I have been looking online and can't find it either. Going to see if I can find a rooted phone of a friend and see if I can pull the apk file off of it. Did you find it?
ANY LUCK FINDING THIS YET?

I have it installed on my droid x
I still have the working version installed on my droid x, I do NOT however seem to be able to find the com.enormego.TWI package file using Astro file manager. If one of you can walk me through finding where it is hiding (as the search feature from the primary directory is finding 0 results for anything containing enormego, twi, or com.cnormego.TWI) I would be more than happy to copy the files off my phone and email them to you so we can all share in the awesome drunken debauchery once again!
Thanks for the help in advance.
~EDIT 2012-04-12 0240~
So I finally tracked the apk down right AFTER I posted so I wanted to share it with you guys if by chance you were still hunting for it. Enjoy!
