I accidentally removed my calendar app with the titanium backup from my defy. At this moment I can not restore it and i can not use other calendar apps and sync with my google calendar.
I removed Calendar 2.1 and Calendar Storage 2.1.
Can someone upload the stock apk files from a ROM?
My version: Blur_Version.2.51.1.MB525.Retail.en.FR

I rooted my Virgin Mobile Samsung Intercept and uninstalled all the calendar files (stupid, i know) but I can't figure out how to reinstall them. I have tried installing the calendar provider, calendar apk, and odex files that I download, but nothing will install. Is there a custom ROM that I can flash that will install google calendar again or another way to get back the calendar function?

Thank you EducateAndInnovate for the post on bROM!! Totally fixed my phone and added some extras that are wonderful! I do have a follow up question though, when I look at Titanium Backup at the ROM storage, it is almost doubled. Did I install two ROMs? Is that even possible? Or is bROM just a bit larger than the stock ROM?
I got a little overzealous in titanium backup and removed the calendar sync service, now calendar wont sync (nerp)
I have tried to reinstall rom (no wipe) and remove/reinstall calendar but no luck.
Any ideas on how to get this installed again, i have no backup.
Look for a gapps package for whatever version of Android you have and either flash it or extract and push the calendar provider apk to system/app, make sure the apk permissions are correct (644), then reboot.

So I have a Galaxy S2 running Android 4.0.4 and I rooted the phone and started uninstalling some apps... I decided to remove the calendar app since I though it was completely separate from Google Calendar but it turned out that it wasn't and now I can't use Google Calendar. I tried to copy the calendar file from my HTC ONE S phone also running Android 4.0.4 but it didn't work. Not sure how I can recover my calendar.
I believe I need Calender Storage or CalendarProvider.apk because one of the calendar apps I installed said it could not create local calendar. I also coppied that file from my htc to my galaxy /system/app/ directory but I guess it's not the same file because it didn't work.
If you have a Galaxy S2 please send me these two files Calendar.apk and CalendarProvider.apk.
Hello, sorry for my bad english. I post here because I want move all event of S Calendar (which are stocked in the device, they aren't synchronized with Google Calendar) in Google Calendar, but I can't. With Kies I have did a backup of the calendar but he give to me a file with a extension .ssc.
I want do that because I want flash a custom rom, and I want keep the event of the calendar.
Would you have a solution ?

Hi, I own a tablet Commodore which I recently rooted. I tried to uninstall some apps to replace them for better ones but I deleted Calendar Storage instead of the calendar app and now I cannot use any calendar app because it says "no calendar found in this device". I've tried reseting the tablet from factory settings but that didnt work. My so is android 4.0.4 ics, any suggestions? There's no rom in the whole interney for this model to try to install it, so the unique solution would be installing Calendar Storage again if it's possible...
