[Q] Ehh this is getting boring :/ - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have the opprunity to get an hd2 plus $100 for my Vibrant (was suppose to get a nexus S) but I don't know what to do, this place is pretty boring now (not bashing you guys) I seriously love all of you devs/Vibrant owners, ect, but there's nothing really going on here anymore, while the hd2 is getting new roms left and right, and kernels, and it also has wp7 (yuck, well not that bad) my question is WHAT SHOULD I DO? ;] If you were in my shoes, what would you choose?
PS: Please don't get upset (that would be a bad idea), I love my phone, and our devs

If you're bored with the Vibrant then get a new phone.

If I were you I would get the hd2. You wont believe how much development that phone has. It has more than the nexus one. The build is pretty good also. Aluminum back plate, 4.3 inch screen.

About the only thing the HD2 doesn't have is our fantastic screen. Other than that, it is THE flashers phone. So many choices, you wont ever be bored. I love my Vibrant, but everyone has their specific wants/needs.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking the phone has a lot going on, I just don't want that feel of "oh man I downgraded"

Yeah I've got an HD2 in the house, the screen is noticeably worse, a little washed out. But Im jealous of the dev activity there.

Me too. i want a new phone. :/ But i'm stuck at vibrant for years.

Im in the same exact boat as the OP.
I have an offer to trade my Vibrant for a HD2 also.
Also having a hard time deciding. Its been almost a year since I been on Android/HD2 not to mention it has the ability of WP7 now.
Trying to decide if I want to loose my SAMOLED Screen / 2 Batteries / 720p Cam for the HD2 which has plentiful of Roms / bigger screen / 3 OS choice / *Stable GPS*
Even though there isn't much development going on for the Vibrant we do have a Android phone that is a whole more stable than Android on the HD2. But then again its been months since I had a HD2.
I have up to tomorrow morning to make my decision LOL.

Your going to miss vibrant when cm 7 gets fully functional!
Sent from my SGH-T959 using Tapatalk

Yeah but CM7 has been fully functional on the HD2 for a little while now.

I personally have a vibrant and a hd2, and I must say I am torn on which to use daily. If you want android, then stay with the vibrant. Though the hd2 nand android is fairly fast and stable, there are those small quirks such as freezes and not being able to charge when the phone is off. However, if you like tinkering, then hell, go for it. Sd builds, nand builds, wp7, winmo, and hopefully meego soon.

Get the hd2

Coming from a hd2 its nice flashing different roms asop to sense. I was just there from the start so the bugs got old. My digitizer went out and I didnt feel like doing it anymore .

Ahh I see, I just have no idea what to do! Were basically thinking the same, but I don't want to think of losing the screen quality, and I barely know about making an ex2 partition for my apps (on the hd2) and I'll miss the 16gb of space. It's so hard, I don't want to get that (sucks for you, you downgraded) feeling, but then again, I want to tamper, and hack my phone, and the screen size would do a lot of justice.

Don't worry, the screen size makes up for the quality. And in reality, under decent light, the hd2 has a fairly good lcd screen that is comparable to my old nexus one. Just don't tilt the screen and change viewing angles. Strangely enough, when I come back to the vibrant it's screen feels cramped.

With the LED display and 720p camera and forgot to mention the onboard 16GB +(my 16GB from older HD2) I might hold on to the Vibrant.

Iv'e had a change in heart, I'm going to keep my vibrant, and enjoy it until the sgs2 comes out! I love this phone!
In all reality, I forgot that I can flash i9000 due to Eugene's kernel, and the services.jar, so as of now, I'm okay, tomorrow.. who knows.

Had the hd2 also. I wasnt happy with the phone freezing all the time. I put android on it but after a few weeks the digitizer went out. Phone is now useless and literally collecting dust on my shelf.

Vibrant or G2 ?

I'm upgrading phones this week, & currently have mytouch 3g. I want to do a survey to see which u guys would choose, the Vibrant or the G2, both have there ups & downs, but just wanted to get some criticism on them both

Vibrant is a better phone
don.t be wow'd by the high benchmarks etc. Remember you are looking at the device alot and G-2 is not as good to look at besides other than 2.2 on it this very second, I can't see why anyone would want it other than it is the newest.
I'm looking for which has the best benchmarks, handling capabilities exc, not looks

If you get a vibrant I guarantee you will love it. Root and flash the bionix rom. Simply amazing. Speed performance battery life. The g2 has potential but you'll be waiting a little bit since it just came out and I believe there isn't a way to permanently root it yet either
Its also very heavy, bulky, and the keyboard sucks. I had the vibrant, took it back and got g2, took it back after having it for a week, and got my vibrant back. Its all personal preference though. Only thing I miss is the led camera flash. Used it as a flashlight when I went camping.

LOL ask in this section and surprise everyone bashes the g2. Ask in the g2 forum, and I bet you know what will happen. Good luck finding objective comparisons.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
I think everyone here is a bit biased. I'm probably a bit less so.
I'm assuming you've looked at all the reviews on site's such as Android Central? I do remember the G2 being praised for battery life. They went so far as to say that it was the best phone on battery that they'd seen. AC also compared the form and finish to the venerable Nexus One. That caught my eye since I carried (and preferred!) the Nexus One to the Galaxy S (european version) until I dropped the crap out of it. I miss it terribly.
The Vibrant is a nice phone, no doubt about it. But I've been struggling with the GPS issue and it's really beginning to get on my nerves. Reflash!, everyone says. WEll, I have...many times. It only works if I open a location-aware app before I leave my house. Then, since it determines my location with assistance from my own wireless network, I'm able to drive away with confidence. If I'm already driving when I open G-Maps, I'm screwed. It takes much too long to get a fix and just isn't practical.
Otherwise, I love the phone. If you go with the Vibrant, just be sure to test out GPS thoroughly in those first few days. Keep your MyTouch handy so that if you have issues and T-Mobile gives you a hard time, return the phone. You'd be well within your rights to return it in the first month (though I think you take a restocking fee type of hit).
Good luck!
You will actually be very surprised to see just how many people are unhappy with their g2 over in their forums. I was one of them. Go look over there and read some of the posts by g2 owners before you decide.

I'm still debating with myself over getting a g2 and giving up the vibrant.
I like the support the g2 is already receiving, the battery life, it has froyo and we're still tba, camera flash(which does have it's uses), the trackpad has it's uses, less lag and neat features being announced (uma).
That being said... I don't want/care for a physical keyboard and hspa+ hasn't/won't make it to my area until next year. I really like the vibrant screen size (larger screens make phones seem more super phone-ish), it's great with all games, which is what I've always wanted an iphone for... It does have plenty of potential, but not a lot of support.
Seeing the issues coming up with the g2, I'm not sure I want to give up one set of issues for another. I'll probably hold onto my vibrant to see how the mytouch hd turns out unless either of these get the issues resolved. It's not like I'd be settling with some outdated hunk of junk if I do hang onto it.

Disclaimer: I've had the Vibrant since the first week, but I have also spent a considerable amount of time with a friend's G2.
The Vibrant is lighter, has a bigger screen and more internal storage. Yes, you can add a microSD card, but there is something to be said for walking around with half a dozen ROMS on the internal SD while still having space to record a few hours of 720p video and using the microSD just for music.
HSPA+ will be a great thing for mobile devices in the future, but I like to wait until the 2nd generation of hardware when it comes to network standards. 3G is plenty fast for mobile web in most areas and I can stream from Last.fm while doing turn-by-turn navigation in Google Maps. Seriously, what more would I need? Even downloads from the Market or Amazon MP3 are fast enough over 3G (for now) and if I need faster, WiFi is pretty much everywhere.
Vibrant is my first mobile device without a keyboard. Hooray for Swype.
In all honesty, only you can make this decision. Go into the T-Mo store when they're not busy and spend as much time as you can with both devices. Attempt to disregard what appears to be issues with software or the fact that the G2 has Froyo already. Educate yourself. Buy. Be happy.
Will the g2 be able to receive future updates, I heard gingerbread will only work with 4in screen & 1g processor. If that's the case I will definitely be getting the vibrant.

Isn't there also a lock that stops you from customizing the ROM on the G2? I am pretty sure there is...
But you should go with the vibrant.. It is thinner, has a bigger & better screen, amazing, fast, you can overclock it to 1.2Ghz (Or 1.3Ghz if you buy a kernel..)

yes, they made it unrootable. made it read only so that when you root, as soon as you reboot phone, root is gone. HTC actually told me they didnt know anything about it when i first emailed them, then about a week later after tmos press release, HTC called me on the phone and explained to me how it was unrootable, for now at least, is what she said. i had already taken mine back and got the vibrant though the day before they called me. (but, i know the devs here will eventually be able to root it, i just didnt want to get stuck with it and go beyond my buyers remorse period.)
I know the g2 can be rooted but it wipes root when it reboots

Yeah, therefore not custom roms on it..
Go with the vibrant
I have both phones and have had 4 warranty exchanges on my Vibrant. Latest because the update bricked my phone.
I personally prefer the G2 for everything not media related. If I am going to watch a movie on a 4inch screen I would prefer the Vibrant. However for everything else especially GPS I prefer the G2.
The keyboard is nice IMHO. I had a Nexus before the Vibrant. Both devices have ups and downs. If you want a solid phone that has great GPS and is Blazing fast go with the G2.
If you want a phone you can easily root, has a great screen and the best GPU of any phone currently on the market, then get the Vibrant.

HD2 vs Vibrant

I actually had an hd2 before I got my vibrant and although i would say go for it, I actually recommend you hold on to the hd2 for a little bit, maybe a month or so. Some insane phones are about to release within the next month or so for just about every major carrier. Theres even the second version of the vibrant with front cama nd 4g coing with a few weeks. If you are in an absolute hurry, then yeah get the vibrant.

No offense, but he said keep the HD2 or Vibrant. Not buy an HD2 or Vibrant. I'd say keep the Vibrant, but then again the HD2 has more custom roms out than the Vibrant. Its probably one of the most developed phone for Android and the funny thing if its not even an Android phone. On the other hand the Vibrant has a gorgeous screen and official Android. It all depends on what you look for in a phone.

it depends what youre into. i would keep the hd2 just because of cm6 and windows phone 7 port. plus the devs already found out a way to boot android straight from NAND instead of having an unstable rom running off the SD card.
personally i would still keep the vibrant just for the super amoled screen and better gaming. im happy just running nero v3 with voodoo atm until a decent dual core tablet come out with data and voice instead of just data

[Q] Do you like your Vibrant? Should I get it over HD2?

I've read many complaints about the Vibrant, but those were from several months ago and may very well be fixed. I've seen a lot more results from searching "vibrant sucks" than "hd2 sucks" but again, they might be obsolete now.
With that said, would you rather have the vibrant or hd2(with android) for the long term if you could not buy another phone for 3-4 years? I am currently trying to make a decision soon--never owning a smartphone before, i know very little so i hope your input can help me out--among bold9780, hd2, or vibrant. dont plan on getting a data plan soon and want to keep the phone for a few yrs (so dont want a phone thats on the decline, getting replaced soon by newer project phones).
I noticed the HD2 pales in specs in comparison with the vibrant, so I came here for an opinion. I figure the Vibrant is more expensive so i can sell to get an HD2 if i want to in the future. Of course, the BBerry is somehow priced higher than all of them.
Feedback from real users is welcome! Thanks for your time.
the vibrant sucks rants were because we did not get the 2.2 update from samsung/tmobile on time. Now that we have vibrant should be your clear choice, amazing amoled screen and great hardware
if u clubb allot dont get hd2 i pulled mine out and it lit up the dance floor thing is big , i traded to a vibrant until i started flashing cusom roms i hated it so much i wannit to throw against the wall but 300 price tag on it stopped me , get the vibrant imo now that 2.2 ficgggyial froyo is out its lil bit less lagg and its fun as u find tons of apps on market too btw phone overclocks to 1.4 ghz and playstation emulator is on its way too
thank to both of you for the quick response! what a great forum and community of members!
its nice to know that there are no major complaints then if those were of the past. couldn't they have 'flashed' android 2.2 onto their vibrant? not sure if i am using the term correctly.
@bartek, hard to understand some parts of your post but thanks! dont understand the club+hd2 stuff.
what are the current CONS of the Vibrant, from the vibrant users, then? so far I believe GPS was a big issue.
You should just wait for the Vibrant 4G.
Cons of the Vibrant so far: GPS, that's pretty much all I know of, I'm telling you man, when Samsung releases the source code for 2.2 this phone will be amazing, I was thinking about trading my Vibrant for an hd2 because the hd2 had more updates than the Vibrant, even had Gingerbread, but as known, it's not native, and will never run as good as the vibrant will, but the design of the hd2 is way better than the Vibrant, and if you like flash, then the hd2 is your choice, the only reason I haven't traded is because I get this feeling that I'm taking a step back in technology, instead of moving forward.. I'm not sure why though.
I will say I love my vibrant even though I see a lot of people selling theirs. I had an hd2 and the digitizer went out. Though it was fun at first I got tired of trying to manage the battery. I have to admit this was before nand came out.
The support that we do have on the vibrant is top notch. Ive tried every rom out there and they all do well I just decided to stick with team whiskey.
I often ask myself would I rather have another hd2? The answer is no. fantastic phone but I love the vibrant so much more. Its a beast of a phone with a great cpu and gpu. The hd2 while versatile is dated. A lot of people had hardware buttons fail I wasnt looking forward to that at all. The ease of bring this thing back from a brick is a total plus. While It does feel cheap at first I have come to respect it as a phone. The vibrant can have a forward facing camera while the hd2 will never have one.
(so dont want a phone thats on the decline, getting replaced soon by newer project phones).

I dont think its worth it to choose the galaxy s personally. I dont get much use out of 3g as it is and a ffc mod is 20 bucks minus having the offical warranty. And if i read you correctly It no longer has 16 gig internal? That just blows.

He already said he's not looking forward to get data plan anytime soon so hw should be fine with vibrant. I had mytouch 4g after a week or so u never use ur front facing camera unless ur taking a pic of ur self...the video chat is hella buggy and no one has it..

thanks everyone for their responses. isnt galaxy S and vibrant same thing? i have considered waiting for the newest version of the vibrant, which should come out in a month or so? im actually getting a phone for free from a family plan sign up, so i dont know if the new vibrant will be available. i wont be getting a data plan, so i dont know if that completely nullifies the new phone benefits (especially if it costs more).
what other phones have better specs than the vibrant thus far? hope it can stand up to the new phones in terms of specs for several years
yeah. my vibrant is godly. 4g? what 4g? whats that!? why do i need 21mbps speeds when 5-7mbps is fast as hell already. and what? $10 extra!? NO thanks!
You can get a smartphone with no data???? how?
uhh family plan. 3 people, 1 new phone. my parents already have usable ones and cant figure out technology anyways. i went with 2 other people who had their own plan and i think part of the deal was they couldnt get new phones either. big sacrifices
I still have my broken hd2. I do not suggest getting one. The phone wouls freeze often and I had a custom rom that did nandroidot help the situation. I did put androis on it and it worked flawlessly for about 10 then suddenly my touch screen started to crap out. I thought it was due to the known issue of running android on an hd2 but the actual digitizer would not respond. I reaf on the hd2 forums it was due to android causing the phone to overheat. Long story short. A friend hooked it up with the vibrant and I have been very happy. Its not perfect but what "smart" phone is? I would wait for the galaxy s 4g like everyone else is suggesting.

Coming from HD2 with android NAND (Clockworkmod), I can readily say that Vibrant(with froyo, custom or official) is much much better than the HD2 in terms of sheer performance. The video recording capability blows the HD2 out of the water. And the superamoled screen is such a treat. And the TV-out functionality is a big plus as well - you can mirror your phone activity, including HD video playback, with HD TV's
I have both, Vibrant and HD2... I'm running NAND Gingerbread on HD2 and it's slow and laggy... Snapdragon should be called Lagdragon...
That being said I don't know if I would buy another Samsung product either...
I have a HD2 Like it it has a bigger screen, sense by HTC is nice........... That's it
Way worse battery, op system is no longer supported by Microsoft. I have Android loaded via dual boot, but this means it is ported through the sd card...... slower buggy and has soft lock/boot problems from time to time.
The Vibrant,,,,,, WAY EASIER to customize, better screen, better battery life more custom things you can load, hard to really brick so it is a good phone for a novice.
And, it is so much like the Nexus S ...........that means we will be able to port their leaks to this phone..........
Vibrant is just WAY better
LMFAO.
I sold my POS HD2 a long time ago.
I haven't looked back since.
Vibrant hands down
I sent back my first smart phone which was the HD2. It was hella-laggy and buggy. The clunky Windows OS just destroyed this phone's potential.
Ordered the Vibrant, and was pleased....
ROOTED AND Installed a custom ROM and was VERY PLEASED!

[Q] Is the Vibrant getting boring?

Is it just me or is the Vibrant getting boring? I use to flash a new theme/rom/kernel every day or so. I have not flashed anything new in over a month. They all seem to be the same over and over.
I see little to no difference in 2.2 roms some kernels are OCed and thats fun if you want to decrease the life span of your phone, but non of that is for me. Themes all have the same icons and colors used over and over. Once in a while someone comes out with something new which is awesome good job but it gets played out in about a week.
I started making my own themes and porting over things I liked but even that has gotten boring to me. I help out a lot of people with boot animations and themes but really there is nothing new that can be done to our phones that has not already been done. I use to hear this and would think no way but I have come to this conclusion myself. Every color theme has been done, every bit of speed has been squeezed out of this phone. Its all really boring to me now and I wondered if I was alone in this.
Even if or when 2.3 comes out for the vibrant we already have so many clones out right now its not even funny. So it feels as if I have nothing to really look forward to.
Having said all that I loved this phone when I got it best phone ever to learn on. So I cant hate it but it does get boring to me now. I broke out my old blackberry just for something new yesterday....sad.
I agree. This is basically maxed out for me and I'm not touching gingerbread until gps is available. I'm getting close to getting an LG G2X.
I was feeling the same. I even reflashed back to stock KB5 through Kies just to a break from custom roms. The fact is that Samsung based roms are already tweaked as much as they can be, they really isn't much else to do. MIUI and CM7 offer something new, but even those get boring after a while. Other phones will really be the same after a while, and the fact remains that even after all these mods, its still a phone.
The theme and dev aspects are getting stale, but I can't bring myself to get another phone because no other phone I know of (other than Nexus S) can match or beat both the screen and the sound quality. Sound us huge for me. I'm waiting for something equal or better in all aspects.
same...
a few months ago i used to be like "DAMN THESE ROMS MAKING MY BATTERY LIFE HORRIBLE"
now i'm like "why isnt my rom making my battery life go down " because before i slept with 5% left, now i sleep with like 40 lol.
Tired, yes, bored, yes, is this the end? no.
we just need something big to happen..
like a GB leak or actual thing (wink wink to samsung)
All phones will get stale after sum time
I feel the reason is that once we had the knowledge to do all this **** to our phones we started to over do it. How many of you out there flashed 4 different ROMs in just one week? Had a different theme for everyday of the week? And when that was not enough when the average flasher figured out how to edit the framework-res/twframework-res hand started to mix themes to create our own (guilty also)...and then the apps, boot animation, etc. Its just like that song on the radio that gets overplayed or those skinny jeans that alot of you shouldn't be wearing... we just over did it. Plus the life of a phone now is as short as the life of a new rapper on the radio so that doesn't help.
I own two Vibrants (bought a toilet dweller from my girl's sis that still ended up working) so I'm pretty sure ima be sporting one till I break/loose it and then the other comes im play till the same happens. Unless the next gen of phones out there could make me coffe and/or give me a lap dance I think I will be stuck with the Vibrant for a while but cuz people like Team Whiskey and all ya other Devs like u made me like this phone ALOT and I'm proud to say I own one. THX every1.
Yeah it is getting stale, but I will always keep my vibrant. Im in the market to buy another phone and currently debating on getting the G2X or wait til the SGS II comes out for the US carriers (hopefully soon).
Yeah I will keep it. I am going with the sgs2 for sure if or when it comes.

Haha, I don't want him to leave! Still have a vibrant my bro uses and I update for him!
Just want him to share his talent with the G2X!

What if it is the bigger picture. With gentoo or any Linux you build your box and then fix and tweak everyday until one day you stop working on it because everything works or of one thing 'Gps via gingerbread' makes you frustrated enough to lose interest temporarily .. you will get back into it... watch. Hahahaha

Team whiskey leaving vibrant has been a big disappointment for me. I've been running bionix 131 for over two months now lol. All the roms except miui and cm7 look the same to me and I don't even wanna look at them anymore. Having said I still love my vibrant and like someone mentioned earlier I don't see any phone that is superior to vibrant. I will most likely get sgs II. I really wanted it to have a 4" screen as I think its the beat screen size for me. 4.3" screen has been a bit of disappointment for me.
Jusf my $0.02.
What do u guys think.

Except for the goddamn GPS, vibrant is really an awesome phone for me. Tell me what this phone cannot do when compared to the latest dual core android phones??
Interesting that what some people call boring, others, including me, would call stable. I recently switched back to Vibrant after several months with a Nexus S. The NS made me feel comfortable about flashing new roms, and really, the stock UI experience was the only thing I disliked about the Vibrant.
I've been using Axura pretty much since I returned. I tried out a couple others, but it seems like I always return to my back-up, and I'll probably continue to until I get a new phone. It runs fast and smooth, I consistently get a day--sometimes almost two--out of a single charge (with light use, obviously), my GPS seems to work well, and I rarely get FCs.
Boring? Maybe. I like having a phone that just works, and that I'm not tweaking every day. I also love the community here, which is anything but boring.
Its still 1of d best swish abd u might be dissapointed

[Q] Does anybody regret buying their SGS3?

Hi there. I am looking at upgrading my Google Nexus one. I have been looking at the XPS and also the SGS3. I dont want a comparision of the 2, but does anybody regret buying their SGS3? I want to buy one, but I am not a fan of Samsungs UI for one, but then again I am basing that from pictures/videos I have seen of Samsung phones.
Thanks for all the info you can give
regret ?
not even close

I did at first cause I upgraded from the SGS2 and coming from something with loads of great roms to something where there was nothing was kind of disappointing but at the start the SGS2 had no roms.
But in each and every way this phone is better after looking back at my old phone.
So its well worth it.
Definitely Not. This phone is a beast.

I think a lot of people don't realise the full potential of the S3 I'm learning something new everyday about it. No regrets at all.

Not at all. Loving it.
Everyone keeps talking about how ugly the UI is but it's actually really functional and has a lot of features that I am not willing to lose by using another UI!
But you are coming from stock ICS so you may find the transition harder..
As my last phone was an HTC Desire which I was more than happy with (the only real reason why I bought a new phone was because I had broken the screen, though it is still usable), and as the S III addresses everything that displeased me about that phone, plus having a lot of new interesting features like NFC and USB OTG, I do not regret buying it for a second. As with any phone there are a few things that I dislike, but none of them are deal breakers. At first I didn't like the UI as much as I liked stock ICS, but it's easy to get used to and it actually has a lot of handy features that you won't find in stock ICS.
its the best phone ever really a beast i am loving using it every sec the phone has too much to explore... its fun
I had to get a second contract to get one and I do not regret it.
The one thing that worried me was battery life and I am surprised by how good it is.

Best phone I've ever purchased.
No choice, No regret,
I might regret if you could show me a phone with same features and performance...for the time being the SGS3 is the king in the phone world.
lol this phone is the ultimate phone. just waiting for the north American galaxy s3 sim unlock app or tool. carrying s2 for calling around and the s3 for everything else
the question insults the phone. just buy it :good:
Yes, a bit. It does really do anything new that my s2 couldn't - not that great a step up, plus I find it a bit more buggy e.g. redraws, browser quits.

I'm sorry, but buggy???no. Redraws yes, but upgrading to LFB firmware and it's gone and browser experience is great.the camera has some issues taking pics in low light without flash(depends on camera hardware. There is Sony& Samsung) and it's not as durable as gs1-2,because the edges of the gorilla glass is a bit thin(nothing a case wouldn't solve, if dropped)
This phone is a monster beast and great update from gs2(yeah got 1 of those to)
Do u even own this phone, doesn't sound like it.
Nope, just do away with Touchwiz and use Nova launcher and all is good.
My only gripe is no physical keyboard, I was a big fan of slide out keyboards, then the missus moved in and suddenly there's no reason to send loadsa texts etc so I went to on screen keyboard.
I have to say the huge screen makes the keyboard usable but still doesnt compare to the keyboard of my HTC Desire Z.
No not at all, well it was a present from my brother...
Never had such a sharp display, as im coming from Galaxy3 GT I5800.
So i played around the first days and what I mentioned, the phone definately has some bugs. The SMS/MMS app is very buggy by closing it with the homebutton, so it often blacks out for 3 secs. Running CM7 on my old phone i never had something like that and oh it didnt have a quadcore... so i was a bit disappointed. Well this is the only thing i noticed... hope CM9/10 will fix that.
nevertheless, the phone is brilliant! definately the best phone for now!
Nope very happy with my phone

Coming from an HTC Desire, the S3 is really a beast. I can't find any default, it's the best phone I ever bought and used.
