It's like Skype in a PC but you cannot perform video calls.

but when i try to call from my tattoo (from skype) to pc it just reject the call, simply will not approve the call?then he say ''PROBLEM WITH RECORDING DEVICE'' that show me on PC.some solution for this?

Same for me. And its not related to the CPU. Other high end devices have the same problem. The audio quality is very very low. I think skype has much room for improvements for their android application.

Same for me too. I search on net but most people on Android have same problem with voice.
Even the new Skype doesn't work on my Tattoo.
I have the nFinityGB v0.92 - Gingerbread 2.3.3 (CM7 based) /* Camera & FM */ Version nFinityGB-0.92 installed.
When I start the app it either freezes or my Phone restarts.
Any suggestions?

Exactly! FLAC means free loss less audio codec. So, this zip enables us to play flac files which we do not generally use.

Flac will allow you to play flac files. It´s a lossless compression format for audio. Google is your friend.
the wi-fi is workin only with static IP ?? i heard the connection works but very slow is that true ? , and also how's 3D workin ? games like zenonia 4 , colosseum heroes , fruit ninja ... etc . anyone tried them ?

I got groupplay from the play store but our wasn't the most up to date version. Sammobile has the latest version from the S5 and and the also have the group camcorder apk. I then found the share music apk through a youtube video. I am Still looking for the share video apk but i will put the links for the other apks below.

Group Play
My group play works fine on my Note 4 I copied the files from my Note 3 Sprint everything works. It also works on my Tab S
I installed the APK and it seemed to work. Then I installed the Share Music APK, then I tried to join another group and listen to music but it wouldn't receive and play the song, it's just a black screen with the song name in blue on the bottom.
I've contacted Samsung about this and they're saying that Group Play isn't available to the Note 4 anymore.
Idk why they would even remove it if they actually anticipated on removing it. Hopefully it's just an update away.
i believe Samsung wants us to ues the All Together App to replace Group Play
Group play has updated to version 3.0.210 it includes video sharing for Note 3 4.3 and above devices the icon looks cool too

Dear All,
I am padfone s ww user with latest lollipop. When i use mxplayer to play video, most of the time it will use software decode. If hw is availabe, the beginning of the video will have a broken image for few seconds. In addition, when i use ds file to access my nas and ply video on the harddisc, it won't allow me to fast forward. Does anyone know how to enable hw+ on padfone s? It always said hw+ is not support. Anyway to get it works? Thx
Your Lollipop is the unmodified ROM from ASUS? Did you do SKU conversion (i.e. switch between TW and WW)? Your app is MX Player or MX Player Pro? The description in the Play store says that the Pro version is ad-free so I am guessing the functionality otherwise is the same. Mine also has ASUS' latest LP ROM loaded and I use MX Player Pro and this allows me to select HW+ decoder:

Thank you. I am on 12.2.2.43 official rom and hard reset has been made after rom upgrade. The phone is come with ww version and i never change it. Just using the free MXplayer. I selected the option as in your screen cap. I can play the movie as normal. Just when i see a moive, I see that it is using software decoding. In that case,movie play fine. Just wonder it will consume more battery. In some case, it allow me to use hw, as I mention, it has 2 second broken screen at the beginning and don't allow me to do fast forward even I move the time bar to the middle of the moive. It never allow me to choose hw+. I am on 1.8.4 beta. But tried 1.7.x and 1.8.6 beta but result is the same.
By the way, i am using the app ds file to access the file in my synology NAS. Don't know if it is a cause this problem.
When I'm watching a movie it shows HW+ switched on. I also have a DiskStation but I use DS Video for watching movies off it. In the screenshots attached here I am playing a movie directly from a microSD card inside the phone and another movie via DS Video.

This is the version that the phone came preloaded with and also the version I've found to be most stable with least bugs. I have tried LP and MM and haven't found them to be giving good enough new features to balance up for the greater number of problems that comes along.

I think my problem is caused by LP then . I did not aware that whether this issue exist before i upgrade. Thank you for your help these days.
Your problem may be something else. Today I played around with LP and MM, just to try these out for a few hours. HW+ decoder works in both in MX Player Pro.
But these ROMs are so bad - bitter and angry tears - a sigh of relief when I'm back on KK again.
I wish JB was available for the PFS. This was the best ROM on my previous Padfone, the NPFI.

I think most of you know about video recording issue in all KK+ ROMs
I'm trying to fix this bug ,but first let me tell you more about the problem and what I'm trying to do ...
Samsung uses PV/OpenCore codecs in stock ROM ... those codecs are from GingerBread era and they are actually not a hardware codecs they are just a software codecs which means when you try to record a video the hardware is not used and the CPU is used instead .
Those codecs are not used any more in KK+ ROMs ,which means that video recording won't work any more and we have some issues like green bar and lags while playing videos .
So I came up with 2 ideas to fix that Issue . First one is to build a camera app which uses an external video encoders to record videos using this way will make video recording videos work in all KK+ ROMs ,but I think we will still have an issue with other apps like What'sApp,line, etc ... as those apps will use video encoders included with system it self . so that takes us to second idea, I will try to add those software codec used in stock ROM to all KK+ ROMs and make system use those codec as default codecs ,which means video recording will works in all apps ...
The first idea is a little bit easier as all I need to use an open source app like OpenCamera and make it use an external video encoder and build it right away . In contrast the second idea is a bit harder as I need to build OpenCore codecs and make StageFright use it I also will have to build each ROM we have again .
At the moment I'm trying second idea and here's what I get :
I work on SlimKat as I have it source on my PC and it's bit good to go with .so I tried to build OpenCore and I failed as it will need a lot of edits to make it build on SlimKat source so I used prebuilt OpenCore bloobs from stock ROM and it seems like those codecs are working so I tried to play videos on YouTube and they are working smoothly, I also didn't faced green bar issue, even though I don't know if I integrated those codecs right or wrong as there's not any clear guide about it and some guides are before GingerBread era hence I need a lot of testers, reporters and help from each dev saw this thread So now I want you to download SlimKat ROM and do all your kind of tests .

Bugs : Video recording is still broken so I will need to work more an camera app it self .

kernel is over clocked to 1200 MHZ .

Someone knows a camera app which can record videos in 4k with 60 fps? I tried the Gcam mod. But when i choose 60 fps and ultra HD the app get a "force close"... I tried so many camera apps from the googel play store... but i did not find any app which can record 60 fps and 4k...
And it is very important because i want test if my phone is broken, or it's a software bug.
Edit: My phone is the G8s.
What 'bout the stock camera? It's working perfectly in 4k/60fps for me on my Sprint G8 20e

I like the stock app. But the 4k 60fps recording is laggy. I opened another Thread on xda some weeks ago. And someone wrote that is a bug on the v50 and it seems the g8s have this bug, too. It is a little laggy in the recording. When i watch the Video in Vlc player on PC or on the phone.
And i want to test if it is really a software bug from the stock app or if my phone is broken. I am not the only one with a laggy cam app on G8s.
But no chance... I did not find an app which can record 4k 60fps on G8s
The only app i know of that can do that is filmic pro, its the only 3rd party tool i know of that can do 60-240fps, but its shareware, only if your willing to pay. Free there are none i know of. Hope this helps, find it on play store. Works on my G8s

Ok... I tried now the evaluation App from this. And no 4k 60fps with my device. I think there is no app than the stock app which can record this... It's so strange...

Yes your right, i just checked and only 1080p can go 60 120 and 240fps. Maybe android 10 will fix this when we eventually get it. Sorry for that

I havent gotten mine yet, still stuck on pie.
But wow thats dissapointing! Considered maybe rooting? Im trying to root mine but im not on EAW version and cant root just yet. Maybe there is a root work around somehow?

I have root, just followed this manual https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g8/how-to/rooting-g8s-guide-t4044193 and use this .img https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=83484559&postcount=162 maybe the kdz method will work if your regional .kdz is here https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-lmg810ea-firmwares/#tab=firmwares :good:

Thanks but sadly mine cant be unlocked on lg site, so i got another thread open regarding that,
So really no root work around for camera fps in magisk maybe?
