Hi there I am new to this but I have a bit of knowldge with computers etc. I rooted my dell streak with super1click with o2s offcial froyo evrything went ok with the rooting but I can not get rom manger to work I have followed instructions every where how to do it but now look can any 1 please help me
ROM Manager does not play well with the Streak.
Is there any of recomdations than rom manger please

Can anyone help me ive tryied all the threads and tutorials but i just cant get my dell streak to flash a standard 2.1 rom back on it so i can use my rebel sim.
I keep getting an error code when its trying to install the update.pkg file which ive been trying for the last 5 hours now and havent gotten anywhere.

Just an advice, be sure when you are updating/upgrading/downgrading your Streak you are in a relax state of mind and body so that you would not miss a step. I have done it several times going from stock 1.6 to Steve's 2.2 vice versa and It is really is when I am relaxed that I am able to do it without a problem. Following the instructions will lead you where you want to be. If I rememeber it right , search for the modded recovery image for 2.1 it is somewhere in the forum. Yeah, that is what brought me to.2.1 the modded recovery image.

My Venue came with 2.2.2 pre installed. I didnt know they even sold it with anything lower. My Streak 5 also came with 2.2.2
I am hoping that there is an official 2.3 ROM or I am going to install one. Rooting the Venue was easy.

Hello everyone ,i was on 351 2.2.2 stock rom than i wanted to update to new gingerbread offical rom , so i flashed 350recovery and did update from that but my dell was stuck on logo so i reinstalled the recovery to 351 and now wen i clicked update of my 351.pkg my mobile is still at first boot from 40minutes its not going past the dell Logo Help
Must be something wrong with ur flashing method buddy.
Try to remove your battery and factory reset.
I recommend you to use flashing with command prompt method.

sorry to break your bubble but there isn't any unlocked eboot/hspl/magldr for dell
short : you can Forget it, no way to get custom rom's on a dell so no way to make a full unlocked Rom.
Hi Friend, I have Dell XCD 35 for more than 1 year. But now I want to change from OS 2.2 to 2.3. I have checked forum here. nit able to find any way to do rooting process for XCD35. Is this same like Streak and mini 5? Please help me.
