I read that FireFox 4 was released, but I didn't find it in the market, does anyone know if it will be there for our Wildfire?

you can download ıt here fırefox 4 beta 5
https://market.android.com/details?id=org.mozilla.firefox

The version available in the market doesn't seem to run on Wildfire. Check the link below for info on compatibility. The wildfire seems to be listed under "devices that have ARMv6 processors and are not compatible with official Firefox releases. They might be able to run the experimental ARMv6 nightly builds". I haven't tried it myself, let me know how you get on.

Completely broken layout, unusable. At least, that's what it was like a few months ago...

I tried it, the Firefox won't open. If Opera can work perfectly on Wildfire, why not Firefox? If firefox wants to get famous and achieve success, they should target all the devices and make things work.

Heroes of might and magic 3

Hi, I know there is a version of heroes 2 for adnroid but I just found a linux version of heroes of might and magic 3 - My idea was - is it possible for a linux version (not emulated one) to be ported for android ?
no idea but i do know about Homam, totally awesome if someone gives it a try. A superb game to have on defy
It's nearly impossible to run any closed source PC software on Android. Don't ask about that.
The reason, why there is HOMM2 is that someone has rewritten HOMM2 engine from scratch. That game on Android isn't actually HOMM2, but Free Heroes2: http://sourceforge.net/projects/fheroes2/ .
Yeah I know that it is almost impossible for closed source to be run on android or hand-held. But I don`t know however - I don`t recall 3DO to have released an official linux version - so i was hoping someone ported it. I haven't downloaded the game yet but I`ll download it and I`ll post an update if it actually contains something helpful.

Windows, Linux - that doesn't matter. It would have to be open sourced.
I found this http://forum.vcmi.eu/portal.php , says it's open source with some files here https://vcmi.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/vcmi/trunk/ .
Hope there's a chance.
Yes, there is open source port of Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and it's VCMI. It works in Maemo (google vcmi maemo or vcmi n900), so why not in Android? I would love to have VCMI in my phone!
Oh yes!
FINALLY! I have been waiting for this moment!
Testing now on HTC Desire Z:
https://market.android.com/details?id=eu.vcmi
has anyone launched it on android sucsesfully? i tried it on my lg 2x with cyano nightly 146. followed instruction on market. app just quits after few second of launching it.

HoneyComb. Application was not installed.

As HoneyComb, the new revamped android music play got released, I downloaded it, and tried to install, but it always tell me ''The application was not installed''.
Does it support the Wildfire or does the issue lie elsewhere?

It doesn't work on Wildfire, FYI. Only experimental ARMv6 Nightlies are supposed to work, and you can find them over at the official site I guess.
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android#ARMv6_.28experimental.29
ARMv6 (experimental)
Sorry, the experimental ARMv6 builds are no longer available. They contained bugs that caused them to crash immediately, so they were no longer useful for testing.

That's a bummer.
No issue though, as long as Opera exists. Still happy with the stock one though.

Flash Player?

Is it not possible to properly install flash player on the aria?
Ive googled around trying to find answers and everything seems to say you can just download it from the market and it will work. But it's not in the market for me, and installing it from an amp doesn't work. (Main reason I want it is to go to the full youtube instead of the crappy youtube mobile)
Ive got CM7 running on my Aria.

You can run flash lite on stock ROMs...not on CM7 (AOSP)...also, there's a youtube app, no need to use the browser...

You can install a specific version of Adobe Flash Player 10.1 on the Aria, but I doubt you will be able to use all its features to their full extent.
Adobe flashlite is the only flash that works on the aria and that requires a Sense based rom to be used. Other than that no variant of flash works on the liberty platform

thats 100% correct, GB and HC have different API's, so tablet apps arent gonna happen till ICS releases and devs update apps with new APIs
What browser are you guys using? I'm using dolphin and although great on my phone I feel its lacking things for the tablet .. any way to get the tablet dolphin version? Or is there a better browser?
Set the screen density to 160 and a lot more apps will work from the android market.
