Дали има комбинация от някой от наличните сготвени ROM-ове и някакъв Fix за камерата, с които да имаме напълно работещ а ОС?
Предполагам, че USB и Wifi Thethering опциите биха могли да бъдат компромисни, но фото/видео камерата е много :emo_im_sad:

Is there a combination between a cooked ROM and some Fix(es) for the Photo/Video Camera, which has full functionalty?
I guess that the any USB and/or Wifi Tethering options could be tolerable, but not working Photo/Video Camer is too much (for me).

Z's FreeX10 Beta 4 rom and Wolfbreak's 2.2 camera mod.
I love this rom. The camera quality was a huge improvement when I upgraded to FreeX10. The speed of the phone is very impressive now. And now with Wolfbreaks's camera mod I have decent video recording as well.

On my device camera don't work:
when i try to take picture it freezes and don't take any photos.
Tried in the stock camera and vignette, both don't work.
Problem in cm7 v 5.0, in CM6 v 3.4 all was good.

i tested, yes, camera illusion works fine, but resolution...
Max resolution of Camera Illusion is 320x240
I read in CM7v5.0 thread, this is a known bug for many people, camera works only max 3 MP and Vignette cannot save the photos...
If you need it, go back to Floyo and wait till a new version is released.

I wonder if is there a simple (layout and use) apk for the camera that works with Andread 2.2.1 RC3.2 room (it doesnt give me the camera bugs the cyanogenmood used to but I don't like the LG camera that comes in it. I'm looking for something more like the 2.1 stock camera.

Don't know if it fits your needs but i use 'sleek camera' - it only contains camera function but autodetects the cameras features and make you able to use/choose them. It's really simple, lightweight and doesn't function overkill.

i suggest you to try the camera360 lite app.. it has the simple camera mode and other nice effects
camera 360 and camera advance...both are better than stock camera i guess

Why we dont disasm to find out working of driver xperia ARC and config for X10 mini pro can recording with HD quality and take a photo with 5 MP not VGA quality. We need some reverse engineer to do that. We can find out and make it work !

The arcitecture of the mini is armv6 while the new line is armv7 like the x10. This means that with high probability, the libraries won't be usable. Even if they are though, the camera sensor will probably be different. Even if its the same, the kernel used for gb devices by Sony is different than the ones used in eclair devices.
I don't think this last obstacle can be bypassed.

Are you working on it or do you have any other ideas? It would be great to have MINICM7 with a fully working camera
hi guys, I've been looking around and I tried to instal HX-mod on my s2 but I can't I guess it is only for GB.
where can I find or is there any ICS camera mod for sammy roms ?

rr 2.4 has a wicked camera mod
if you want a sweet camera try out the Resurrection Remix Rom it has a wicked camera with the ability to do panoramic images. I was impressed way better than stock.
