The good folks at xda have temporarily taken the thread down for review.
This really stinks. I had that thread bookmarked so I can go over it later as it has a lot more images than the e-crap website does, as well as a great write up for each case. I hope they re-instate the thread as it was very informative for us just getting the tablet from the Woot sale.
Hmmm. Hopefully they will reinstate the thread and allow Steve to continue operating here: he has done a great deal to help the XDA g tablet community get our hands on accessories, some of which might not even have existed without his efforts.
I actually ordered something from there yesterday. I was a little leary since i hadn't heard about it before. Hopefully all is well.

I wouldn't worry about placing an order, looks as though quite a few people have done business with Steve. I plan to as soon as the latest shipment comes in.
I'm gonna take a guess that the whole thread removal has something to do with a developer reviewing and selling product. I for one appreciate his efforts and am OK with this situation, if that is indeed the problem.

I'll second that.
Steve is a stand up guy. I have bought a couple of accessories from him with no problems - he was very quick in fact - and watched many others here do likewise. I have yet to see anybody write a bad word about him.
If the thread was pulled, it is most likely on a forum posting rules issue: there is actually a Marketplace forum on XDA somewhere - anybody here actually check that forum?? - and it may be that his cases thread should be in there, according to the rules.
Thing is you need several posts to even read that forum. I can't remember the last time I went there and I would guess quite a few folks in here would say the same.
Yep. I have purchased from that site as well. Fast shipping and fair prices. Plus I liked the review thread because it gave good information and was not what I would call just marketing.
Steve also posts over at AndroidTablet, and there is a review thread there as well
I'm disappointed by this as well, because I too had the thread bookmarked. I don't have enough posts to use the XDA marketplace, and I don't like to make BS posts just bump my post-count. If I have nothing constructive to say, I don't say anything. (except maybe this post )
Which of his cases are compatible with the dock without removing the tablet from the doc? Since I can't find detailed pics, based on reading the description it seems like just the clip, but, maybe others are as well?

Hi....been researching and lurking for about 2 months now.
About 1 week ago I bit the bullet and bought the gtab.....had it rommed in 20 minutes all I can say is wow!!!!!
My question is I am looking for a decent case that acts like a stand and has a keyboard.

Second that - I have the P3 and think it is great except for the obscuring of the back button, which I plan to fix but have not pulled out the knife yet.

If you check a particular product on the site I will update the 'estimated in stock by...' date as SOON as I have a tracking number in hand. It's never 100% correct but I've only been off one day one time. Or when they delivered $1500 printer in original box, with make, model, picture, etc on the box. They didn't feel like lifting it up 1 flight of stairs and left it by the door or a private house. And this is not in suburbia. It was basically sitting on a Brooklyn street.
Actually this is how my wifes Black Friday transformer was left and it has worried me since then. Since when was signature not required he norm.

blaziner, no offense but you are definitely the worst offender when it comes to creating pointless threads...lol. I will give you credit though, some of them have been oddly, and I mean very oddly, well received. You created the 'your hype level' thread, no? That was maybe the most pointless thread I think that I have ever seen created in all of my many many years on the Internet and yes I was an adult when the Internet first became popular (barely). That said people seemed to like it and wanted to come by and say how hyped they were on a scale from 1 to 10. How can you argue with that? Carry on my pointless friend.
I should qualify this post with the fact that I have also seen some constructive posts from you as well. Maybe not threads but at least a few posts. And I don't mean this post as an insult in any way either. I know it can sound that way sometimes on these internets.

Well when I check the forum and 2 back to back threads in the General section say the exact same thing within a couple of hours of each other, it makes you wonder if people actually take the time a read other posts and threads before starting a new one. I mean literally the 2 Expansys threads were back to back saying the same thing. I could understand if they were 2 different subjects about the store, but they were not. This type of mentality is cluttering this section up. Its hard enough trying to read through every new thread that is created and trying to actually find out something that is new, and not already posted in at least 2-3 other threads. But hey if you want to call me a troll for reading 2 threads back to back about the same thing, created only a few hours of each other and commenting on how the OP could have easily posted in the other thread instead of starting a new one, then I guess I trolled this thread.

1. One references the pre-order from the store and the other one says the pre-order from the same store ships on the 23rd. True, it doesn't say the same thing exactly word for word, one just goes more into detail about the first thread.
2. If buried means that it would have been the 18th post in the thread, then sure everyone should just post a new thread once a thread has reached 15 posts since no one will read past the 15th or even 17th post.
I was just trying to point out that this info could have easily been posted in that thread. I wasn't trying to attack you or your thread, just making a point that this info could have been put in that thread, and would benefited people who went to that thread and have already posted in it before your thread was created. Then all the info would be all in one place and not in multiple places. It makes trying to find out info easier in IMO then reading multiple posts on the same subject. hell i haven't checked the bestbuy preorder thread of 20 pages. i would love to know when they are getting stock, and i would totally love for someone to make a thread with it in the title. as i am 32 years old with a life and don't read every post in every thread ever made.
but i understand certain people get their rocks off by running around suggesting people to use search.
i called them (spent over an hr on hold) i was told the 23rd is all they now. Im going to hold on to this order, not like it is costing me anything

Also note that it says "first shipment". No way that first shipment covers all their pre-orders.

This is very strange. I tried to post reply on the ICS Passion ROM thread, but then I been redirected to a page saying I need more than 10 posts before I can post there. However, there are many replies on that same thread, by peoples with just 1 or 2 post count.

You need 10 posts to do it in the dev section. You should be able to reply in the general or other sections. Why they can I am not sure. Are they doing it with a computer or by phone maybe?

sounds delicious....i actually quit recently, havnt had a butt since january 3rd!!! (10 year smoker)...ive moved onto vaping (ecigs) and havnt looked back, im a big advocate for it for people who want to quit...i never thought id be able to stop

I quit... For a Solid Month cold turkey... I picked it back up again. I bought a e-cig once. My kid picked it up and blew into it. and killed it. I didn't buy a new one. Maybe I should try again.

if its something youre really going to consider, you have to invest in a good one. the initial investment in a starterkit will run you between $60-$90, but you ultimately save a ****ton of money AND health from there on out.
those crap ecigs from the convience store/mall kiosk are a horrible misrepresentation of the vaping world, dont buy those.
i can give you good recommendations if youre interested.

it is a huge online industry, with a alot of great products >> but unfortunately those great products are buried under a tone of inferior products...it can be like finding a needle in a haystack.
a lot of people start researching, and just get so overwhelmed that they just say "fck it, ill just go buy a pack of smokes."

I know a few people on here been trying to get answers about a bumper case since the Rhino Shield one fell through. People had the same case for the G3 when I had mind. It seemed to be popular but there were issues with it from what I remember.
I'm still hoping the hula comes out, but I'll definitely test this one
