[THEME] Dread's Black and Red for CM7 Theme Chooser updated 4/13/2011 - EVO Shift 4G Themes and Apps

This is a theme very similar to my black and green version for CM7 but red instead of green. The new version should work with any version of CM7 but I've only tested it on Stable 7.0.0. New version is an APK compatible with t-mobile theme engine (Theme Chooser). Old version includes LauncherPro (as seen in pics), custom font (SonySketch) and flying windows and transition animations. Bottom dock easily setup the same as in screenshots with instructions below.
Changelog:
New! 4/13/2011: T-mobile theme engine version available for Theme Chooser! This is version 1.0, so far everything seems to be working properly. Any issues please let me know here.
Disclaimer:
I'm not responsible for anything that may happen to your phone.
Instructions for new Theme Chooser version:
1. Download and install the APK (make sure you have "Unknown sources" selected in "Application settings").
2. Go into your apps and select "Theme Chooser".
3. Select "Dreads_BlackAndRed" (see pic below in screenshots).
4. It will say "Theme error. Sorry, this theme is missing assets for your device's screen size.", ignore this and select "Apply anyway" (this is a known issue with the method I used to create it - assets aren't missing and it will work just fine
5. Reboot phone to make sure everything takes correctly, enjoy
Instructions for old RC4.1 version:
1. Make a nandroid just in case.
2. Wipe Dalvik cache.
3. Use CWM 3.x to flash.
4. Flash over CM7 RC4.1.
5. Make sure you have "System" selected in the app "Theme Chooser".
LauncherPro Setup:
LauncherPro is automatically installed to data/app when flashing this theme (to make it easier to remove if you don't like it). The bottom dock and icons seen in the screenshots are copied to your SD card under "DreadsBlackRed". To easily setup the bottom dock as seen in the screen shots follow these simple steps:
Dock:
1. On the homescreen on launcherpro press menu.
2. Select "Dock background".
3. Select "Custom".
4. Find the bottom dock under the folder "DreadsBlackRed" on your sdcard.
Icons:
1. Press and hold on whichever icon you're changing from the bottom dock.
2. Select "Change icon".
3. Select "Custom icon".
4. Find the icon under "DreadsBlackRed" on your sdcard.
Setup the rest as you see fit.
Font too small?
1. Go into your app drawer.
2. Select "Spare Parts".
3. Under "General" change the "Font size" to your preference .

This theme is great and I will probably use it for awhile, but there is one incongruity that I can't figure out. The power widget is half red and half cyan. I used the instructions provided to get the icons red on the widget but the narrow on/off lights are a color close to cyan. G2X CM7 Nightly 34

NEVERMIND THIS POST, I WAS CONFUSED BUT IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH CM OR THIS THEME, I WAS LOOKING IN THE WRONG PLACE.
I am confused about the odd behavior of themes in general with CM Theme chooser. After updating from one nightly to another all the themes disappear. But oddly the elements of your theme or at least most of them are still applied.
I know you have the apk posted in this forum, but I paid for the app in the market which I think is a newer version (1.2 vs 1.0) and now I can't find it even after searching for "red" or "dread" or browsing through the long list of ADW Themes. Also it is not in the list of purchased apps. I also tried to restore it with Titanium Backup but while I'm sure it is floating around my phone somewhere it isn't in Theme Chooser. Obviously I'm a Noob but what #%@#% am I doing wrong.

Yeah the round corners on the top are a part of the theme the ones on the bottom are apart of the adw theme on the market and the launcher pro dock download in the extras above the one with the stock lanucher is because of my wallpaper.

::Androdena::Tek::Galaxy:: NOW IN BLUE AND ORANGE!!

Ok I first saw this theme a few weeks ago on the I9000 forums. I decided I have to have it so I have been spending most of my weekend porting it over to our Vibrants. Its absolutely the best looking theme I have ever had on my phone. I did not make anything in this theme asides from a few mods here and there. So thank the people below for this.
First Off let me thank and give credit where its due
Team Wiskey for Bionix
Dena994 for making the original theme
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=913733
spirellilein for the fancy widget skin

I think thats it if I missed anyone please let me know.
Ok this work on Bionix V. This is the only rom that I have tried this on so if you want to test it on something else be my guest but I am not at fault if you have a paper weight.
Included in theme
Theme
Fancy widget
Minimal pandora
Themed gingerbread keyboard
Themed market
Removed by this theme
Wipes Dalvik Cache
What I suggest is using ADW EX V1.2.2 with this theme and downloading the dock bar and icons below.
This is not a flashable zip its just the zip file containing the images for the dockbar and icons. If you try and flash it nothing will happen.

HOW TO INSTALL ICONS!!!
takev215 said it best.
1. Make sure u have launcherpro installed. if you dont have it than u can get it from the market. bionix-v(1.2) does not have lp.
2. download the launcherpro dock and icon in the op. (it is not a flashable zip so dont cwm it and if u unzip it you will see pictures of the dockbar and icons).
3. connect your vibrant to your desktop and mount it..than unzip the file you just downloaded and placed in your gallery than disconnect your vibrant.
4. assuming you have launcherpro as your launcher, hit the menu softkey at the bottom left hand corner, it is to the left of the home key. than choose preferences, than chose appearance settings, than dock background. than choose custom and it should take you to your gallery, once in gallery you should see the 6 icons you dl, choose the icons that doesnt have any pics in it, tht should be your dockbar. than click on the home softkey. should be back to main menu.
5. now we are going to hange the icons, if you press and hold the phone key in the dockbar for a few seconds a popup should come up (edit dock shortcut), choose change icon, than choose custom icon and it should take you to your gallery. from there choose the phone icon. do the same thing for the other 4 icons and you are done.
I changed the pull down panel some from the original and added a custom boot animation along with my tv off shutdown animation.
How to Install
1. Download
2. Flash with Clock Work Recovery
3. Reboot It will take a while because of the Dalvik Cache being deleted.
4. Enjoy the beauty of this theme.
If you have any issues let me know and I will try and help out as much as I can. Thanks and enjoy

[THEME] Dread's Black and Blue for CM7 Theme Chooser HDPI only updated 4/19/2011

This is a theme very similar to my black and green version for CM7 but blue instead of green. The new version should work with any version of CM7 but I've only tested it on Stable 7.0.0. New version is an APK compatible with t-mobile theme engine (Theme Chooser). Old version includes LauncherPro (as seen in pics), custom font (accidental presidency) and flying windows and transition animations. Bottom dock easily setup the same as in screenshots with instructions below. Background as seen in screenshots can be downloaded here. Thanks goes to sublime1184 for the blue progress bars.
Changelog:
4/15/2011: T-mobile theme engine version available for Theme Chooser! Power notification widget themed too (see pic below). This is version 1.0, so far everything seems to be working properly. Any issues please let me know here.
New! 4/19/2011: New donate version available on Android Market for only $1.29. I'm releasing version 1.3 here for you guys but it probably will not get updates here. If you like the theme please consider purchasing the donate version on the market here or by searching for "dread 7us" (this will show all my themes available). New in version 1.3: cleaned up the settings icons, created new icon and preview pic, fixed 4G status icons now blue, themed the notification and power control icons blue, themed some application icons, themed browser, mms, email, gmail, google quick search, phone, launcherpro, market, facebook, contacts and probably other apps I don't remember. If coming from version 1.0, uninstall it first before installing premium version. Also, you *may* get a FC of a random app when installing; just ignore it, open Theme Chooser select the theme and reboot phone like normal. Thanks goes to fifedogg and drob311 for testing. Yeah I like the circular battery mod. Any way to match the same Cyan color on built in CM7 theme but with circular battery indicator style and also add the cyan to the alarm and headphones indicators that show up on the notification bar.

You need to uncheck the battery percentage option in cm settings > interface > status bar tweaks.

Yup that was it. Thanks!
Is the lockscreen supposed to be themed as well? Mine is still green.

[THEME] Dread's White theme for CM7 RC4.1 updated 4/7/2011

This is a theme very similar to my black and white version for CM7 reversing the colors a bit. Task bar is more white in this version as well as the optional botton dock. This has only been tested on RC4.1 so I can't say if it will work for nightlies. Current version includes LauncherPro (as seen in pics) as an optional download, custom font (SonySketch) and flying windows and transition animations. Bottom dock easily setup the same as in screenshots with instructions below. LaucherPro no longer installs with theme (download it on the market) neither do the bottom dock and icons (optional download).
Disclaimer:

Instructions:
1. Make a nandroid just in case.
2. Wipe Dalvik cache.
3. Use CWM 3.x to flash.
4. Flash over CM7.
5. Make sure you have "System" selected in the app "Theme Chooser".
Optional LauncherPro Setup:
LauncherPro is available on the market. The bottom dock and icons seen in the screenshots are on optional download (flash through recovery). Once flashed icons are copied to your SD card under "DreadsWhiteBlack". To easily setup the bottom dock as seen in the screen shots follow these simple steps:
Dock:
1. On the homescreen on launcherpro press menu.
2. Select "Dock background".
3. Select "Custom".
4. Find the bottom dock under the folder "DreadsWhiteBlack" on your sdcard.
Icons:
1. Press and hold on whichever icon you're changing from the bottom dock.
2. Select "Change icon".
3. Select "Custom icon".
4. Find the icon under "DreadsWhiteBlack" on your sdcard.
Setup the rest as you see fit.
Font too small?
1. Go into your app drawer.
2. Select "Spare Parts".
3. Under "General" change the "Font size" to your preference .

Just a suggestion, but have you thought about making 1 big thread with your different themes for each rom? I know you have so many themes per each rom and it would be easier to find your themes, or maybe a thread with a list of your themes.

Ya, thats a normal error message with the method I used to create it. Per the instructions in the OP just ignore it and apply anyhow. Theme will work and isn't missing said assets lol
