Help with boot animation (request) - Thunderbolt Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Could someone do me a solid and hook me up with the stock thunderbolt boot animation with one of these photos "drizzled" in there somewhere? Preferably at the clouds, kind of transparent or barely there. Or when the lightning strikes, have it thrown in the flash. This is for a Rom I'm building and all help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry, was away from XDA today. One thing to make sure on boot animations is that you don't compress the zip file. If you use the basic windows built-in zip it always compresses. I recommend the free 7-zip if you plan to theme.

There is, the tricky part is samsung uses a specific format for their boot animation, not standard .zip we are use to. Maybe you port it, in also pm swift.

Well that sucks. I was thinking a hackish way of doing it can be find someone that has it already record it in HD. From there convert the video to images and then go from there to change to bootanimation. I dont know haha.

Not to sound like an asshole, but the next thing you need to do is read. There is an incredible amount of information on XDA that will tell you everything you need to know, you just have to make a little effort. I started out not knowing anything and I read and learned. I am still no developer or anything like that, but I have learned more by doing my own research rather than having somebody spoon-feed it to me. People on here are willing to help, but expect you to make the effort.

Take deep breath and realize if you do this wrong you will brick your device. Then slowly read up about CWM and read again before attempting anything then intstall CWM and create a backup...
Then read up om rom and how to flash them

Up and coming Smooth Operator! Nice photo.
OP
I was a total noob when I first got my note but I knew I wanted to root it.
After reading for about a week I finally felt comfortable enough to root my phone.
It was easy after watching a step by step video
That same night I loaded a cyanogen rom and stayed up all night
rootgalaxynote.com is the site that helped me
Also remember the at&t version is the i717
*DO NOT CONFUSE IT WITH THE INTERNATIONAL PHONE*

Note: I am not sure about custom ROMS, but if you want to change the lockscreen wallpaper to one of these wallpapers, the gallery can't crop the image and it fails. To get around this, I use PicSay (Pro) to crop and export a smaller image, and then use the cropped image to set the lockscreen wallpaper.

In /system/app is LGHome3.apk. You have to extract the apk, open it with winRAR or 7zip, then go to /res/drawable-land-xhdpi-1280x768/, extract all the large wallpapers an that's it. Adding wallpapers to an apk is a lot more complicated though.
Most of the time stock wallpapers are included in the launcher that comes with the phone. This is mostly true for all ROMS and devices. Some ROMS such as CM come with another apk that includes their wallpapers.
