Whenever I restart my Atrix, I receive a notification that I have 6 unread sms messages even though I have read all my sms messages. I am using Handcent.
Can anyone shed some light on why this is happening and if there is anything I can do to fix this annoyance?

May want to disable notifications and auto-retrieve in the native SMS app.

Has anyone experience sms issue when trying to text you receive a unable to delivery message, but can send out a couple more text and it work. it just randomly wont send text?
Hi guys,
I am having issues with the notification LED.
1) Incoming msgs (mms, sms, Gmail) are being alerted, but emails gotten in the Email app, or Touchdown (I use Touchdown and not the Email app) are NOT.
2) Gmail alerts for incoming emails, up until I turn on the screen. Then, the LED stops flashing, mind you I didn't actually read the mail or cleared the notification.
I am very much use to LED notifications, and this is driving me mad
Tried Light Flow, but for some reason it does not work constantly well.

A few times now I have had single SMS messages disappear from my phone. I use SMS Popup to display the incoming message. A few times after I click close on the pop-up the SMS has then vanished from my inbox - there is no record of it at all in the thread view. It has only happened a few times, with no obvious pattern.
Has anyone had a similar problem? Is there a fix?
I'm on a rooted, stock S3.

I have similar problem. I do not receive all sms.
I found a fix you have to install Ghostly SMS.
This issue was repported to Google. Can't post outside link.
Look like a problem when you have low memory. I use a custom rom Omega v42 which limit text message to 1000. I just lower it to 200 to see what happen.
What is your SMS limit?
Are you running low in memory?

Since purchasing the gs3, which i love, i keep receiving duplicate text messages.
I am using go sms pro, and receive 2 of every sms. Mms seems to work fine.
I do have at&t messages installed for the visual voicemail, but have text message notifications disabled. I also have notifications disabled in stock messaging.
I am not receiving double notifications, however, that seemed to be the only suggestions i found when searching.
Please help, this is driving me nuts.

I have sms issue.
I am using the original SMS app that is builtin the samsung galaxy s3.
Sometimes when I open a message, it keeps switching between message by itself and between home screen and sms app again. It just keep switching between sms messages showing random sms but only most recent.
Anybody knows why and how to fix that?
