So x8 have recovery?
is that mean that you have installed xrecovery? try to find it on original fresh stock ROM. if there is exist maybe X8 has that facility.
I found this on stock 2.1.1 rom.
maybe thats the code for the pre installed recovery app?

I really do hope so, i tried the other day to load Paul Obrien's ROM from ModaCo without much sucess. but the ROM was for 4399 release and i'm on 3883, not a problem i restored back to stock [rom] and started again.
I just have a rooted device with custom recovery installed, and it was all really straight forward i'm just waiting for a rom now.
I dont know if my built is the last.

Download this file direct from ur device browser or from pc

Rename it update.zip
Copy to sd card
switch off of ur device
Turn on ur device same time hold both the volume buttons on side
Device will boot in recovery mode
With volume button highlight update device and click ur camera button once
It will run ur update pkg
Make sure u [email protected] up ur apps as it will clear all ur app but it wont delete anything from sd card

Funny thought same link but when i click link posted by me gives that error and when u look at the link closely in broweser its missing /LatestBuild/ from middle
so 404 ERROR is showing up just for that reason i guess
I tend to use my own link to it, so the badly formed url wasn't the reason I was getting 404

I can not do superboot with boot.img,take from modaco.
wait around 10 seconds then plug the device into your PC. The screen display should change to 'FASTBOOT MODE:my streak dont change in fastboot mode.why?

Oke all, i hope i am not getting in to trouble with this but i just want to help untill FXP is comming with a proper fix.
I post this because a get a ton of pms and not the time to send averyone a link.
All credits go to FXP team that are working so hard to keep ower x10 a live.
Flash this zip with the latest cwm and then reboot. Then you flash the gapps.
Just like the original.
Everything works.
I used the build,prop of FXP41 so about the phone you see 2.3.7.
O and just for the fun i put a different bootanimation in this because then people will now it is not posted by FXP and there for they are not responseble for bricking your phone. Neither am I offcourse.
Have fun.

This fix hase no data bug and is the Fxp30 with lib files and build.prop of fxp41.
No data bug and working camera.
I made this because i want working camera and giong back to fxp30 was not a option so i made this.
So do I do a full wipe?
Just to clarify that this is still FXP030 Android 2.3.5 just with newer libraries and build.prop from FXP041.
So if you want a full Android 2.3.7, get FXP041 instead.

Yes but then you have the dat bug again. I made this because of the camera.
So if people do not want the camera just flash FXP30.

Not sure what this fixes...I just flashed 041 update over 030 rom (No wipes, just flashed it) and everything is fine...
Data works, camera/video works (Except zoom)....whats the problem everyone is having becaue I cant reproduce it

+1 Wifi worked fine for under an hour....then wouldn't find websites or stay connected to market etc..

Hi all, I was looking for a original firmware 1.6 donut (have my reason, so if someone need it, is here), but no luck, so I had to create one for myself, or something like that. Well you can download and flash it with FlashTool, put it in the folder firmware and flash. And sorry for my english

For me it doesn't work. Led just blinks green every 7 seconds and that's it.

But currently I'm hanging in an Bootloop (I didn't expected something else to be honest)
I made a logcat but don't know what exactly goes wrong and what I need to change.

But there is no libnetcmdiface.so neither in the GS4 ROM nor in the N4 ROM.
And I think it's only for wifi so that can't be the thing that triggers the bootloop or?
I found a version of it but

I don't think it's the cause of the bootloop I think it's all in the audio
I don't get that netd error if I use netd from cm10.1 doesn't seem to cause issues but audio still makes it crap itself

(I've been working on a port as well and was going to check out your progress for any differences that we may be able to collaborate)

Currently stopped porting because I completly bricked my device, but I found a way to unbrick it and wrote a guide

This updater-script is okay, but only if you flash that on a N4.
For a other device you need to modify it.

hey just knoticed i was digging around in the rom and there is no boot.img in the rom witch will make a boot loop i think if we can find a boot.img from maybe a 4.3 rom it might work because i tried to use a 4.2.2 boot.img and when i installed the rom it said to update boot.img and then was stuck in a boot loop again ...so im thinking if we can find a 4.3 boot.img it might work

Did I forgot the boot.img
But there is no working boot.img, I've an idea but I'm on holiday without a pc so I can only try it in a week.
I think 4.3 will be officially released before we successfully ported it xD
I need a back up & restore apk for xperia sola because I installed a rom last year and for got to back it up
now I need it to root my phone because it got unrooted on it's own for no reason.
