different well my is alpha early stage .. and not better than owain94's it is based on blade cm7 final not on Owain94 one.. why new rom so that i stay in shape for my new phone

well wifi stability here on work is like 0 i have started upload like 3 times each time broke.. i will upload early in morning .. when i get home from night shift..

Looks like we'll need splboot.ko sources, because insmodding X10's splboot.ko fails.
Also, i_hate_sonyericsson was making zImage for X8, in this thread. We need that too. And finally, ramdisk.gz, and some logo just as a visual proof that custom boot.img is loaded.
Wow you guys should have a little bit of patience..ya,they already crack x10 bootloader..but let our dev have a "fully working stable method" on x10 first..then they will do it for us..no need to rush guys little bit of patience.i'm sure they will do it on others se phone also..its not that easy,so patience is the only way

But there is a video of a SE dev using multitouch on X8 - if it wasn't some sort of a prototype, then we have a required hardware

I'm pretty much sure that we need to flash the memory of the "touch" chip to get it working.
Just if someone can post pictures of HTC Wildfire or Samsung Galaxy 3 with the x8 pictures.
And by pictures I mean chip photos.

You're right but:
boot.img isn't the same in x10 as in x8 so we need to modify the x10 one or make our own one
i've said that... ramdisk+zimage=boot.img

Miui requires armv7 but U20i has an MSM7227 600mhz processor, which is only an armv6 compatible chipset...but some months before Owain94 promised an Miui ROM for us, but he had gone away long time ago...
maybe one day he'll be back and bring miui to us
MIUI to mini pro sounds interesting, nd I think u'll b seeing something like it soon along with FroSen! ;-)
the reason we cant have MIUI is that it is closed source otherwise it would have been ported it was like flash it was armv7 and closed source so couldn't be ported with out source code

Porting the rom is hard but resize every picture is the hardest part
since it is based on cyanogenmod just take cm ROM smali and baksmali every MIUI related line in the frameworks resize all the pictures really all of them

It can't be based on gb since it is still closed source.
But this one is based on ics so, open source and some guys have ported it to ace and another guy making 1 for x8.

Same here.. Cosmic flow is somehow open-gl related that's why it only works with select devices. Hopefully you can tweak this live wallpaper where it can be used on all xperia phones dude. That would be awesome.

Stock Kernel -> Kgsl 1.0
Custom Kernel -> Kgsl 1.1 or 1.2 for ICS.

Well when you put it that way - is there any rom significantly different from stock at all? The answer is no and no matter what devs do it's still going to be semi-crappy 'cause Sony did a lousy job building ics for our phones.

Exactly. I can't believe that such a phone, xperia u, has such a crappy lag. Free memory is around 80mb when older phones have much more.
