[Q] [REQUEST] Acer Liquid Stream Launcher - Galaxy 3 Themes and Apps

Hello All,
As the tag in the topic's name might suggest, I have a Request.
It's about the Acer Liquid Stream Launcher.
They've made it work (sort of, read the comments and you'll know what I mean) on the Galaxy S.
So I thought, why not on our device?
I don't have a lot of time on my hands at the moment (programming for school, side projects, and things I want to make myself), so that's why I'm making a request:
Could someone port this to our device?
The link with the original (supposedly working) file is here.

[Q] Sense UI on non HTC device??

Hello all,
I have been a member here for a while and i have tried out a few custom rom's on my desire hd, my question is....
I have an android tablet that is Gingerbread, has anyone developed an installable verion of the sense ui? i know its not to everyone's liking but it works well for how i use my phone with work etc
I have done a search and i didnt find much other than launcher pro look a likes etc and as my tablet is the same 800 x 480 resolution i wondered if it was possible?
Any help would be appreciated, or just tell me to bugger off lol!
Thanks in advance
(p.s i cannot root the device as skygo will not work on it)
As sense is built into so many parts of android (including some parts which are completely replaced by sense) i dont think this is possible. Its definately impossible without root.
Your best bet is finding a launcher you like and then finding apps to do the things you like sense doing. (e.g. syncmypix can sync facebook pics with contacts like sense does)
Hope that helps!

Help needed with iOS apps

Hi everyone, I'm working for a real estate company at the moment and they are looking to get an app running on the android platform that we can use at our open homes. There is one on the play store called Open Home Register, but its crap, I paid for it and it doesn't work that well.
There is also one on iOS called OpenHome Pro, I've been in contact with the dev, and at the moment they have no plans to release an android version.
So, my question is, if I got permission, whats the work involved porting the app, or even rewriting to work on the android system, both tablet and phone? On average how much would we be spending on a dev to help us with that?
If somebody could help me that world be great.
Also I should mention that I have permission to work on the Open Home Register app, but the way its working just doesn't make things easier for us, so I thought start again using OpenHome Pro as our base because its a much better app.
Thanks in advance guys/girls,
Evil.

[Q] ATV520 Android TV Box - Native Android ROM?

Hi Everyone.
I hope I am posting this in the correct location as all of this is new to me. I have just purchased a MyGica ATV520 and to my dissapointment have found that it has a custom Rom produced by MyGica. I can't say I'm overly fussed with the preloaded interface and would love to run a raw version of android. It seemed simple enough although I was unable to find anything after many hours searching Google. I am hoping I have come to the correct place so someone can kindly point me in the correct direction.
Many thanks in advance, Kenton

[Q] unable to access playstore on greek tablet - newbie

Hi to all At my wits end trying all sorts of tricks to get this tablet to work and was told to join this site as it is the best. Basically I bought a 7 inch tablet in Greece and it has a flavour of android on it that can't access the google app store. It uses something called 'slideme market' which is apparently like google apps. from all I've learnt I believe I have to put on a new standard version of android. I know it's called 'rooting' and thats about it ! Can anybody out there point me in the right direction or offer help please. I'm fairly new to all of this... including the use of forums ! I can get any tech info out of the system which is made by 'Crystalaudiovideo' but they tell me there are no plans to upgrade the software as it involves buying licences...Thanks guys :good:

Dayclock

Hi all,
I found a great solution for my grandmother to keep in touch with us, and make it easier to remind the date and time. (https://www.dayclocks.nl/)
On this website I downloaded the Update file, which is basically an alternative launcher for android.
I installed it on my S8 and got the choice to switch my launcher, but unfortunately it doesn't start. Now I was hoping if someone here could get this to work on a tablet.
