I Have a Droid 2 running Fission 2.5.7, and I'm using Dialer One as my default dialer. For some reason I can't seem to figure out, Dialer One will only show 153 of my 545 contacts. There's no option that I can see to refresh or import other contacts. They all show up in the default dialer under contacts, but not on Dialer One. Any ideas?
I have found that an applied filter based on groups will be active with ALL programs that use the contact list. I use Better Contacts and groups from Google are transferred in. If I have a group filtered, say to "Personal" it will only show those in Dialer one even if using the filter in Dialer one. And on top of that! Dialer one has its own filter selection based on the groups that DOES NOT get passed to the other Contact Apps.

My old Aria used to have a picture of an Android robot. I miss the robot. It is much better than the Atrix's gray outline of a person.

Can anyone recommend a Contacts Widget? I know there are several out there but I can't find one that does the two things I'm looking for: Firstly I want it to read all my contacts, not just selected favourites. And secondly I want the contacts listed surname first. I have a widget, "Photo Contacts", it's the only one I can find that lists all contacts, however it's arranged first name first.
Any thoughts, anyone?
The LauncherPro Plus widget is nice for contacts, but it is a payed app.

Yes, I use LauncherPro and their "People" widget would be perfect for me except that it indexes by first name, with no facility to change to surname. It's a great shame, because I do like that one.
I am using AOKP Based JB (JellyBAM) since a couple of days.
The standard Contacts editor and Dialer are looking awfully and I am searching for a way to customize them.
I found the app exDialer, which looks much better, supports swipe function to make a call, but during the call I still see the ugly default screen. Also, if I try to edit any of the contacts, it uses the default contact editor, which I think is much uglier than GB.
Anybody that can help me with such mods or themes that might make it look better?

I just had to reinstall the latest software on my Xperia P, and now I am missing the "favorite contacts" widget. the one that is one line, with four contacts, but you can scroll it to find the other favorite contacts. anyone know where I can get my hands one this widget?
btw: I found out it has been replaced with a widget called "TOP CONTACTS". however I really don't like this. as it is 4 static contacts (can't scroll like I used to, to see more contacts, much the same way as the album widget) also, it's looks horrible, with TOP CONTACTS in big letters and the pictures are boxed in.
- Tried a 3rd party app, still not the same functionality.
- Also found an old widget someone posted, but this is the top contacts and call logs, its a 3x4 square widget. and I still want the 1x4.

I've been using exdialer for three years now, but lately I got tired of it. Its main problem for me is that it does not seem to replace completely the stock dialer. Each time I get a call, the background colors are the same light ones used by the stock dialer and also the caller ID photo does not cover the entire screen. Is there any more modern dialer? I'd like someone better integrated, with more complete theming options and a full caller ID picture. Feel free to post a screenshot,if possible. Thanks!
