-Downloading from the market when i first setup my tablet seemed
slow and horrible and some didn't seem like they were ever going
to start, after a few reboots and a full sync, everything is running
pretty much smoothly, few snags here and there but nothing too bad.
-I've gotten some weird force closes from the stock browser...
just install an alternative from the market.

Apps2sd Instructions
- Ext Partition MUST be on the internal SD card formatted as ext4 as a primary partition after your fat32 partition. Use easeus partition manager.
- Some apps & games like Angry Birds or Pocket Legends install to the sd card right from the market,
this bypasses the roms a2sd and uses froyo's which we all know eventually fills up space.
So what you have to do is:
Menu>Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>SD card
Move all listed back to tablet. Reboot.

Lost internal SD card
I updated to 2.2 flawlessly by following the steps meticulously. Since I was using Link2SD to move apps to the SD card while on 2.1, after the upgrade I decided to reformat the internal SD card back to 8 GB partition. I used the MiniTool partition wizard and it showed that formatting to FAT32 was completed successfully. But now I can no longer access the internal storage from within the tablet and also from Windows. Hope one of you can help me out with this issue.

i just installed and ran the "Fox News" app which is a specialised video player for their news videos.
Just as under Eclair it is only using the top half of the screen; normally it should be using the entire screen.
Is there any special upgrade or workaround to fix rhis ?

try downloading spare parts from the market,
The lcd default density on regular devices is 240, and our Tablets its 160
most apps run at 240DPI flawlessly. turning off compatibility in spare parts may correct this.

0. Enter in recovery
1. Flash Froyo Radio, if you don't have it yer
2. Do a NANDROID Backup
3. Wipe Data +cache
4. Flash ROM
5. Reboot
How-To
Move Apps to SD card:
Open Spare Parts , click on App2sd and select:
- SDcard (/sdcard )
- Internal ( data/app )
- Auto
This will also have effect on installations from the Market.
To move apps from phone-to-sdcard/sdcard-to-phone, goto Settings/Applications/Manage, select an app and click "Move" button.
Important: Do not put keyboards, launchers, widgets or root apps on the sdcard!
Move Apps to SD card {Ext way} :
a2sd check <- A2sd diagnostic, to see possible problems and config
a2sd install <- Install App2sd and move all apps to SD
a2sd remove <- Remove Apps2sd and move all App to Internal Storage
a2sd nocache <- Move Dalvik Cache to /data
a2sd cachepart <- Move Dalvik Cache to /cache Sposta Dalvik-cache in /cache
a2sd cachesd <- Move dalvik cache to /sd
a2sd zipalign <- run zipalign on boot
a2sd sysinfo < -this will give you a complete overview of your phone. Lots of good information

If you create a text file called install.cfg in /sdcard/android/androidlab/ it will be checked during install for the following flags.
Simply type any combination of these flags, each flag on a new line, into the install.cfg file and save it.
noapps - do not install additional Kang-o-rama apps, limit Google apps to basics (see this helpful post by fiftyclick).
launcher2 - will replace ADW.Launcher with Google Launcher2

there arent any big framework changes in this or kernal changes

How to install the Rom
- put the Downloaded files on the Root of your SD
- go in the Recovery mode (if your Phone is Rooted you know how)
- and Wipe all options
- install Radio Image (STEP ONE)
- klick Reboot (after few sec. you come back to Recovery)
- install the Rodriguezstyle Rom (STEP TWO)
- go to "settings" -> "CyanogenMod settings" -> "user interface" -> "Tweaks extras" and Load the cmparts_ui.xml file
- Reboot
- Have Fun...
how works A2SD+ (ext3) ???
1. go in the Recovery mode
2. than create a Partition
3. 32 MB SWAP / 32-1012 MB ext2 / Rest FAT32
4. Convert it to ext3
5. put your rom on SD
6. Install[/COLOR]
How To OverClock:
SetCPU v2.1 from coolbho3000 Thanks:
Install -> Select Autodetection -> Set 1130MHz as Max. -> check: Set on Boot -> Reboot -> Finish
(you can adjust much more on profiles to save Battery but is not needed)
NetMeterLED = Charging LED as CPU Status Indicator:
# 00-03 % = off
# 03-15 % = blue
# 16-40 % = green
# 41-75 % = amber
# 76-99 % = red
how works Froyo A2SD ??? (Not Needed when you use the ext3 Method !!!)
1. set CMParts Install Location to internal (Phone)
2. install all the apps you can install on the Phone
3. set CMParts Install Location to external (SD)
4. go to application settings and push the installed apps to SD
5. repeat all stepps again...
with this method i got nearly 200 Apps installed, without Problems and 40 MB Space on Phone Storage it´s ok for me... i got all apps i want now

important !!! after a reboot you need to stop LauncherPro in the running applications menu to reload all sd installed apps !!!

i test it with a A2DP BT Headset and it works.. maybe file transfer not... can´t try that at the moment..

Do you think we can somehow get the Desire Camera ported to stock vanilla android roms? I prefer vanilla android over sense but that sense camera app is SO much better. When I had Paul's desire port back in the day, the pictures looked so much better.

MiniCM6
is the most stable and feature-complete ROM for the mini for day to day use
This ROM is for the X10mini only. It is custom-built based on Cyanogen 6.1 and code from Floyo-CM 1.2.0. This rom runs Froyo on top of stock SE kernel and is stripped off as many SE 2.1 stuff as possible.
Special thanks to my friend DaRk_dOg who is helping with testing this ROM. He is also theming for MiniCM. His creations are trully magnificent

The notorious 'Reboot bug' is now fixed
Requirements:
Root and CWM recovery already installed (flash it from here)
Latest 2.1.1.A.0.6/2.1.1.C.0.0 SE firmware / Baseband: M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015 due to kernel dependencies. Check this once and twice. There is no point to proceed if you don't have this.
Instructions:
Download the latest ROM from the release link
Rename the <release>.zip file to update.zip
Copy the update.zip to your sdcard (top level). E.g via your PC or via 'adb push update.zip /sdcard/'
Reboot to CWM recovery
Keep a backup of your current status using CWM's Backup & Restore in case you want to restore.
Select 'wipe data/factory reset' if you were not already using MiniCM6
Select 'apply update from sdcard' from the top menu of CWM recovery
Reboot (first boot will take ~2 mins)
If you don't stick to the above instructions you might get various problems (WiFi, Data traffic, Bluetooth etc).
In that case, and before reporting an issue, select 'Factory Reset' from the top menu of CWM recovery & Reboot

If you would like to multiboot this ROM, use the attached MiniCM6-multiboot.zip. Don't flash this normally!!! Instead use the multiboot menu of the CWM recovery to flash it.

If nothing works, you could try formatting the /data partition via xrecovery (make sure you did backup first!)

2. Wipe/Data Factory Reset
3. flash with Clockworkmod
ROM REBOOTS AFTER FIRST BOOT
Apps2sd Instructions
- Ext Partition MUST be on the internal SD card formatted as ext2 as a primary partition after your fat32 partition. Use easeus partition manager.
- Some apps & games like Angry Birds or Pocket Legends install to the sd card right from the market,
this bypasses the roms a2sd and uses froyo's which we all know eventually fills up space.
So what you have to do is:
Menu>Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>SD card
Move all listed back to tablet. Reboot.

Not Working/Bugs:
MMs.apk: bug where it supposed to say compose when you hit menu
has a clock image instead of compose.
Market: if downloads stall or "disappear" do this
Menu>Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>"All" Tab

whats the difference to the Indonesian ROM?
I will get a S7-105 version which is multitouch capable. Is the norwegian ROM capable to handle Multitouch better than the Indonesian one?
You have extracted the emotion widgets. Is it possible to provide this widgets again as an apk? This would be nice. Or do you have an alternative to the emotion widgets?

I just flashed your Indonesian version Stable 1.0 yesterday and it seemed to work fine.
Now I flashed the Norwegian 1.1 and finally the Indonesian Stable 1.1 and will stay with it, hopefully.
here are some details in case people have difficulties (like me) remembering all these tools:
( Clockwork Mode must already be installed)
1) make sure Menu>Setting>Application>Development>USB Debugging : OFF
2) connect PC and tablet by USB cable, on the tablet choose "USB Storage Mode"; the internal SD will be accessible as one of the PCs removable drive.
3) copy the 'Ideos_S7_Froyo_v1.1-INDO.zip' file ( as downloaded do NOT unzip ! ) to the internal SD card
4) then, on the PC start Easeus Partition Manager and find the new drive, right-click on it, select 'resize' and reduce to 600 MB,
a 2nd unpartitioned space will appear, right-click on it, select 'create';
a new window will open; choose 'ext2' as format and take all the free space; click 'apply', Easeus will now realize the changes to the internal SD
5) now set
Menu>Setting>Application>Development>USB Debugging : ON
6) start Ideos_S7_tool, enter 'R' to boot up the tablet in
Clockwork Mode
in Clockwork Mode there are 5 keys for navigating the menus:
vol+ : up
vol- : down
-on the right side of the tablet
green key: select
red key = On/Off = Back: back
6) do the 'wipe data/factory reset' and 'wipe cache', each takes only a few seconds
7) then 'install zip from sdcard'
take option 'choose zip from sdcard' and select the 'Ideos_S7_Froyo_v1.1-INDO.zip' file
8) once the update is done, 'reboot system now'
the tablet will come up once and reboot again by itself after a few seconds,
after the second boot you can start to set it up & use it.

Thanks a lot for these roms. They have made a HUGE difference. The S7 would be almost un-useable without them! I have one stupid question. I've been running this rom for a while and I just noticed that I don't seem to have any access to the FAT32 partition on the "Internal SD". It is a little bigger than six gigs and after it I have a 1 gig ext4 partition. Both partitions work. I can see them in apps2sd and I can move apps to the 6 gig FAT32 partition within apps2sd. But when I use Astro or any file explorer I can't seem to find this partition. It is basically empty with only apps that I was able to move off the ext4 partition but I would like to be able to store music/movies/ or other data on that partition. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for the roms! And if I HAD any money I would absolutely donate to you, you have done a great job.
Anyone? Joe? I'm sure it is a simple answer, I just can't find that "Interal SD" card with the "FAT32" partition on it.
Like I said I am able to move apps on to it but I can't see where it is in the "file structure" and therefore I am unable to utilize that 6 gigs.
Is this some kind of "super user" problem for which I need "root" permissions on it in order to move files on to it?
Is it the "root" folder itself?

SD-CAR. Use and administration apk in ext
Apks: S2E and FreeSpace
Through S2E we configure ext3 options and with freespace we control the space ofeach partition, the default is already active but it is advisable to follow these step; by default all apps are installed in ext3/ext4.
1. Execute S2E and grant user privileges
2. Configure the options as it comes on the next screen

It will be awesome no doubt. The previous anikings/romkolas were one of the top class ROMS. You can go ahead without doubt Anyway I am downloading now, after flashing will give a quick review for NEO V. If things go fine, will use this, coz my phone is not botting form emman's
One thing i hate in stock ROM and mods is after sending SMS, the balance that pops up makes a notification noice as if an sms came. I just hate it.

Quick Review:
- No default APN, you need to add.
- Auto Brightness works fine and is quick
- Hotspot working fine
- nice amount of RAM available
- Wifi, Radio, FM, Bravia, xLoud all fine
- Latest TrackID working fine
- GPS is good
- LED brightness is good
- Battery is good, reduced CPU from 1.6 to 1.0 and battery is even more better
- gtalk not present (links posted above)
- both cameras working fine
All in all a very smooth ROM and one can stick to it for a long time

I know that - it's just a signal to include full apns-conf.xml in the next release ;-)
Anyway, rom is working really fine.
no theme chooser.. neither sony's nor CM's.

I have 8gb class 4 sd card. can i go for it?
as this rom is using sd-ext partition by default, i think one should have a good quality of sd card (class 6 or class 10) for proper speed.
I am using EASYUS partition master for partitioning sd card which is unable to create ext4. so i have the only option of ext3.
Is sd partitioning option is included in marckernel for ext4?
Question from indian people:
some shops in Gurgaon says that class 6 0r 10 sd card is not available in India. is it true? if available -- of which make? Thanks in advance if anyone clears my doubts.

SD card will allways be slower than NAND, os You'll have to test it probably...

You could install themes for romk0la through CWM, because these replace apk. You could download its on first post.

Marckernel is using temporarily Doomlord,s CWM, and this doesn,t allow ext4 partitions.

The url in OP is for neo v 0.9.1.. and my review was for 0.9.1 only...

Hi,
I am using this version and it works fine. Also different users and beta tester in HTCmania are using this version and they have had no problems.
what software should i use to partition my sd card .........

by the way, small request to u thedr0idboy/everyone, can you help me or pm me with a tweak to disable the notification sound for the sms balance popup that comes after sending every sms. It doesn't make sound in case of CM7 ROMs.

Hi,
It depends of your operating system. For example, I have Linux OS and I use gparted to partition my sd card.
