No, not rooted yet. I have lots of stuff on it already. So any root attempt will have to wait till the weekend where I can have good hour or so to do backup before doing anything
Thanks, I just root and unroot the phone. So, I want to check if it looks the same with the unroot one.

I bought my Acer a500 tablet second hand and I didn't know that the previous owner had rooted it but no too long after that this happens every time I turn it on.
Can someone tell me in simple terms how to fix it ? A clear tutorial might be helpful.
I've attached a pic for you all to see what's wrong.

Try booting the primary kernel image. You can use the volume keys to select the options.

most promising update is missing so what could i think now :/ -_- and the update is already too much late we dont even know about the update will this come or not :/
just received an update. Issue is battery life is too short 2 hours SOT at most.
The update for the X10/X20 of 2022-07 is here.
I really hope it solves the problem with the nightly reboot.
It says more stability and better user interface, so........

Updated, gone through 6 hours of charging without hang. Looks good so far.

I can confirm that both my wife and myself have had no problems anymore after this update during charging.
