Visit the Android market, find Netflix, then send it to your phone, installs over any leaked versions you may have had...viola, works perfectly
seems we've confirmed that if you're running Coredroid ROM above, you will be able to install Netflix and view everything perfectly from several users who have tried..no prop editing, no white screen, no problems with no video, etc
Not to mention, it's one of the best ROM's for the Glacier (minus the annoying video recording not working bug)

Working on my girls Nexus One running CM7 but I get the audio for a few seconds & then kicks back out to the white screen on my Glacier running CM7
Confirmed on a 2nd device that if you install the CoreDroid DesireS port, it will indeed work just fine

i will not install anything made by Rafyvitto. He had the ban hammer swung on him from XDA. I'm not going to support him.

When I loaded it it loads my account, I can search, but movies would cut out while streaming. It could just be my bad data speeds right now.

this is not my port its hazmatics posted on his twitter but i flashed on my mytouch 4g with cm7.0.2 and its working perfect haven tried video chating yet as i dont have anyone to try it with flash at ur own risk and i am not responsible for anything that happens to ur phone

thanks to G1-evolve for helping out with testing.
seems like it works flawlessly over wifi, even better IMO compared to tango/qik/fring. interface could use a little work though, but stability > style. lets hope the devs take this and enable this to be used over 3g/4g.
this came out much faster than expected. =D
did a test call from my phone to my gf's computer. the video of her to my phone was HORRIBLY delayed (like 15 seconds, ,maybe more. didn't count) and she could not see a video of me at all. instead she saw my google profile picture.

+1. I'm on cm7nb58 and faux's 2.5.2 LV-CFS kernel.
Hopefully someone will be able to figure this out. Can't wait to do some Phone-to-PC video chatting.

It works for everyone except T-Mobile cough. Nexus s has the same problems on T-Mobile.

Going to need to fix flash now. I did not know about this site or app thanks for posting. The app looks to work just fine but the silly flash bug we are all dealing with right now is a pain. Aka sound but no picture.

I have not had time to look into it but it looks to be with certain ROMs with new versions of the flash player.
Works fine on mine.
CM7 + faux123's latest version of the 2.6.35.13 kernel. I also have the modified version of Flash that allows me to watch Hulu on my browser.
Where do you get this modified version of Flash? I just installed 10.3.185.25 from the market and it still doesn't work.

the gallery app that came with the phone is lets just say horrible so i asked in irc if anyone knew of an alternative to the stock gallery...riggsAndroid forwarded me a copy of the 3d gallery apk and it worked with a few modifications to the permission level! So with that being said and with his permission i am sharing this info with all of you.
MUST BE ROOTED
to install the app you will need to be rooted as this needs to either be pushed via adb or using rootexplorer... and you need root to modify the permissions to rw r r using root explorer. MUST BE ROOTED
I take no credit for this discovery other than being a test bunny to verify it's working status so please say thanks to riggsAndroid for providing me with the direction!

I pulled the gallery app from an old cm7 build an installed it just fine on my non rooted photon and it works perfectly no modification needed.

3d gallery?
On the stock gallery there is a setting that lets you connect straight to your Xbox. Haven't tried it yet though

I found out on the first day of having the phone that the stock gallery app was just horrible. I went to find the 3D gallery APK but just found it on the market: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.cooliris.media&feature=search_result
It works fine on my Photon. No root needed.

Wow - you guys are right... when I go to the market link online I see the Photon is grayed out. I just installed it last week though through the market on my phone. Can you try to just look up "gallery" in the market and see if you can install it? It shows up as the first search result on my Photon.

/system/app once in there you can change the permissions

That's the one... I think the issue is that if you try to install from the Market on the Web, it won't let you. If you look it up on the Market on your phone, you're fine.

I think that's what we're trying to straighten out. This thread was started by someone in order to get the 3D Gallery app on to our phones - -but the method requires ROOT. Myself and someone else have said there is a version of the 3D Gallery app on the market that will install on the Photon WITHOUT root if done from the phone's Market (not on the web).
However, there may be some confusion as to whether or not we are talking about the same app. I have used the stock Android 3D Gallery app before and the one I just DL'd and installed from the Market on to the Photon seems to be the same. If it is, then that would be the method to use since it does not require root. However, if the app referenced in the original topic/post is somehow different then I think we'd all like to know (since it requires a bit more work to install).

Another good one is QuickPic which allows file management and better thumbnails. Much better than stock Gallery.

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't load this. Other than wifi not working, you might as well if you want. It's super stable and fast as hell.
Is it just me or is the launcher the one from the phone? I don't see the standard "honeycomb/tablet" style launcher besides the status bar.

When you tap on the time it brings up the tablet launcher with all the notifications and settings.

Long pressing the homescreen doesn't bring up the overview and widget dragging utilities.
The app launcher is very reminiscent of the phone ICS builds.

I actually have market and all other google apps on but no Wifi for now.
Also adb is working so Side load apps its possible .
Wifi/SD still not working.
You just need to install the driver manually and adb will work.

This is the p4 version.. Working fine n smooth for me.
Just flashed on Xron after full wipe.
SD mouting to PC is not working in all ICS versions.
Wifi works fine, Market is fine, HD videos on SD card work fine with MX player(with armv7 codec), Side loading is fine too..
Had error, then booted to WebOS then restrted to Evervolv ICS fine (or just use http://classicnerd.net/betas/update-remove-MOBOOT-Entries.zip to update entries) Had to flash ICS twice.. YMMV

Searching through the forums' i found a flashable zip for thr asus transformer that enables proper mic support in Jellybean on our tabket. just google Tim Cat Job mic and HDMI fix. I flashed the zip and mic works great. This forum also has other interesting tidbits about the SOD issue.

Thank you, that is the link. Don't flash the whole kat zip just the mic and HDMI fix. The Kat zip will corrupt the kernel.

I having noticed the vertical scrolling sod since flashing the mic/HDMI fix. You cannot press the mic repeatedly ad this causes Google now to freeze.
This worked for me! Great find!

Hmm. Well, I am running the over clocked SGT7 Cherry picks ROM in which I used ROM debloat free to remove all the live wallpaper and picker, the bluetooth files, and the phone stuff. I accidently removed the phone storage apk and now I can't connect via USB in android but I can transfer files via CWM....but not a single sod for past two days. I am picky on the apps and games I install.
i've been running the linaro enhanced 0.4 rom for a day, no sod yet - knock on wood

The only ROM that is truly stable right now is the sgt7 Cherry pick ROM. There are a bunch of commits that have not been added to Chris Jelkybean ROM and until they are it will not be stable.

I installed the apk from here, then selected to install "HDMI & crap audio after Mic Fix" in K.A.T - Kat Android Toolbox and the mic is working in skype now on the latest CM10 build (0.05.2).

Worked for me too. In the app, just install "HDMI..." per above. After that, I had to reboot to get it working, but all good. I'm running .05.3

I will if someone can upload the flashable zip on to an ftp site or something so i can try when i asked the question it wasn't available and i dont know how to use the apk yet might take me a few more days
