Same here - it seemed to install OK, but when I rebooted, NOTHING had changed. I still had the red Motorola bootsplash, followed by a custom bootanimation I had installed in data/local. Was I supposed to take that out first? In the past (granted, on different phones) the installation of a bootanimation that was setup like this one is, seemed to remove the bootanimation.zip in data/local and played whatever was installed by the flash as the bootanimation.

OK, so I place the AndroidBoot_Blue.zip into system/media and reboot - that's all that's needed? Shouldn't it be renamed to "bootanimation.zip" first?

Nope, you have to install via tenfar's cwm recovery...but if you rather install with root explorer, all you have to do is extract the bootanimation.zip from the /system/media/ directory in AndroidBoot_BLUE.zip and put it into /system/media/ on your phone and set the permissions to rw-r--r--, then reboot

that was my bad I should of put that in the op.. flashing it will only work on mysense cus its just putting it in the /system/customize/resource file ... where cm stores it in the /system/media/
you could just move the TMUS_bootanimation.zip out of the file, rename it to bootanimation.zip and move it to your /system/media/ folder

trying to flash on unlocked 2.3.4 with tenfar's new recovery does not work =/ i get an installation aborted error. Just realized it wasnt done in CWM form lol
Whoa. Sharp! Thank You!
What needs to be done/changed to make this work on unlocked Atrix with latest CWM for unlocked bootloader?
New recovery requires edify scripting. I dont know how to do that.
Cool. Here is the bootanimation and a transformers audio file I used in another animation which goes well with this animation. If you don't want the audio, don't copy it to /system/media with bootanimation.zip and only the animation will play.

Edit: Anyway the color can be changed to a green/grey theme to match Alien Theme?

you're more than welcome to change the color
as for the audio...it can be whatever you want as long as you reference that audio file in the desc.txt that is in the zip

I will try this in a bit
Will edit to say how things went through.
Will this work on One S/Viper 2.0 ROM and should I flash the whole zip to sd or is it easier to just copy and paste in 'System/Resources' folder, that is where it seems to be on the Viper ROM just want the whole package with boot & sound ya know?
Thanks
