Twitter app with timeline sync - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm wondering if any decent Twitter apps are available that can sync timeline position across multiple Android devices, and preferably to a web portal or a Windows app. Any thoughts?

I've been looking into something like this to sync my evo and tab also. The search continues.....

I'm searching the same thing.
Someone knows someone???

Falcon pro seems to do this the best. What your looking for is an app that supports free-market. I'm also searching myself, there's really no perfect app. I'm switching between my s3 and nexus 7. Why Twitter had not implemented sync by now is beyond me.

Necropost alert! I originally wrote this in 2011. I currently use Plume which syncs via Tweet Marker but it's not really a complete solution as there aren't really any good Tweet Marker apps for Windows or desktop browsers that haven't halted development.

ah... it displays customerized news feed including updates from one's Facebook twitter etc in a very user-friendly 'magzine' way.
Pulse is sorta like flipboard

I would highly recommend pulse. I use that app more than anything else and on the tablet the split screen is really nice.

Try the following:
Feedly
Newsr
News360 (still in Beta but quickly getting better)
Pulse
My favorites are Feedly and Newsr currently. Several more are in beta stages.

I love pulse. A preinstalled app that doesn't suck is great.
Pulse is okay, I hope flipboard comes to android.
It would be nice but I recently took a survey with News360 and they're currently working on Twitter/Facebook integration. It could possibly help me forget about Flipboard.
Man...if only I could code, I would have started working on an app just like Flipboard called Scrapbook. LoL. I wouldn't be surprised to see Flipboard appear on Android sometime after Christmas. I still wonder if Apple doesn't pay some of these developers not to work on both.
It seems silly as anybody who can program, can just take your idea, change it a bit and put in on another marketplace.
with that being said , flipboard to me ,also is far more better in providing iformation than any apps i tried on android os.
just by searching word 'cancer' , in these apps vs flipboard , one can clearly see the difference ....
hope flipboard coming to android soon ...

the same, hope it will be available for android soon.
Another thing is that they need to make the content more customizable and give more consideration to the individual preference.

That is true.
Apart from the tremendous claim for their attractive layout, this is a real problem.
There is not enough personal customization of content, and most often, the status updates chronologically.
Ive never had the chance to play with it but having seen reviews, I would really like to use planetary on android.
I would pay 4.99 on the market for that
What do you mean there is no Flipboard-like app? Theres Google Currents which is superior
I was currently searching for planetary. Only thing i found , was this thread.
Can someone port it for android? Or am i asking something incredible?
I have flipboard installed on my tab. In the play store says isn't compatible but you can instal it if you download the apk from other source. Once installed the app says in the first time open that is not made for this screen size but works perfectly!

Push in non-official Twitter apps

As an iOS ex-user, I miss lots of apps that I used in iOS. One of the most important of them is Tweetbot.
I've been searching for a great Tweetbot replacement and the only tolerable ones that I found are Plume, Boid and TweetDeck. But I am being forced to use the terrible official client because of the push notifications. Those clients have some sort of "placebo" push, which is slower and is less battery-efficient.
So, there's my question: can I use another app to push Twitter mentions to my device? Personally, I've got 2 ideas: an app like Boxcar (available for iOS, developers say that they are working on an Android app, but it feels abandoned) or some way to redirect official Twitter's notifications to Plume when I tap on them on Notification Center.
Thanks!

A good Facebook + Twitter app?

After happily using Seesmic, now I am looking for a replacement as there is some issue due to which it cannot update Facebook.
After trying many apps (Hootsuit, Seesmic ping, tweet caster, tweetdeck etc) have still not find a good app that has below features:
1. Update status on twitter and Facebook (most do)
2. Upload photos to Facebook (surprisingly none do it, they just post link on my wall)
3. Tag friends in posts
4. Schedule status updates, not really imp as I use buffer.
Thanks in advance for the help
None?

Stocks App

Can anyone recommend a good stocks app? The stock app gets an error, yahoo's will not load and Google is soo basic.
Thanks

I like SigFig & Android Stocks Tape Widget, you might want to check them out. Both work as widgets but the SigFig gives you a lot more info with its own little app and stuff...........
https://www.sigfig.com/
I also have Google Finance, the Bloomberg app, Yahoo Finance, Fidelity, and Stocks (powered by Yahoo Finance, came loaded with the phone) all on there but rarely ever use them.
Thanks I will give them a try

Android General Question

Hi, I'd like if someone can explain to me why android apps never open Web links within the app instead of always redirecting you to the browser like iOS and I never noticed this before but I'm currently using an iPhone along side my Galaxy S3 since I'm in the Caribbean and I just think the iOS way makes more sense especially for apps like cracked and Facebook.... Thoughts?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Because the android apps in question do not have a web browser within them, at least not in the sense of a traditional browser. I can't attest to how iOS works as I have too many qualms with apple to use their products, but I would assume many of their apps also launch a browser for web content, and if they don't its due to integration of a browser within the app.

Hey sorry I'm just noticing the reply and all I'm looking for is a discussion of some sort but a bit of an update I just used the CNN app on my Galaxy and it as in opened links pertaining to the app within itself such as unlocking the live TV and I just think more android apps should do it and also you might be familiar with flip board and how not handles links that's what I mean
