Skinomi works great! Its like a knockoff of Zagg, but it is pretty decent. Same type of installation. I have one on the front/back (regular full-body i.e. no skin) and it fits perfectly inside the keyboard dock. Check it out at http://www.skinomi.com/aseeetrp.html

Because, for many and not all, Gorilla Glass can scratch. Perhaps not as badly as other types of glass but it does. I use screen protectors on the premise that it's often better to have one and not need it than to need it and not have it. Good quality protectors seldom interfere with touchscreen functioning....at least in my experience with many types of machines.
I've tried Skinomi but have never gotten the "hang" of applying the wet protocol. Succeeded only with a Zagg on my Droid X. Am plaing a BE on my TF when it arrives.
Often using or not using a protector comes down to personal preference.

Does the skin cover the sides of the device also? As in the corners and around the ports?

nice skin. i installed it and i am impressed with how forgiving this thing is with making mistakes on install. lil tricky to install perfectly but i got it after a few tries and i like the feel of it and when the screen on there is no way i can tell its on there. when the screen is off if i look closely i can tell. but when am i ever gonna look at the screen when its off. heh
the back skin is nice too, i just like the fact i can now put it on a table and not feel scared of getting scratches from dirt on the table.

I just got a free tempered glass screen protector! I had one of the sp that came with the sgp rubber cases. And it started to peel. So I contacted them, and they said they would send me a replacement. Well I check my mail 2 days later I get this. Which is today when I got it! I can't believe they sent me this for free!

Its actually very easy. Before you actually lay it down be sure you have the ear puece hole and bevels lined up. Lay it down and apply medium pressure with one finger in the center and watch it adhere. Be sure the surface is clean as can be before yoh apply it and wash your hands

Yes sir I had to reapply mine three times as I got dust under it.... wasn't fun but came out good... it still stuck to the screen no problem just used the squeegee to get the corners

agreed. kickstand is a great addition to this phone. esp when you have kids and want to play a video for them during dinner. or if you use it with a foldable bluetooth keyboard as a portable workstation. i like how the front wraps around the face to protect the screen.

This case is actually pretty good. It is very thin and yet provides all around protection. And because it is so thin it can be used with those cheap holsters with kick stand. I bought a similar case and use it with that holster to get a nice protection with the kickstand - the best of both worlds.
Android thing on corner is beat too.

Yep. No matter what you do, try to bring a lil Andy design to the table for our notes and i get ripped up cause it not a goddamn transformer for ten bucks. lol.

Thanks, buddy. It looks quite thick and bulky especially on the sides. I like something like in the pics I attached, thin, soft leather, just a sleeve, as skinny as can be. But thanks anyway. Maybe I just want Sena case, but they won't build one for the DNA.

I emailed Sena about this, as I too am a fan of the style. They replied and said that they are evaluating still, and may produce one. In the mean time, another poster here provided this, which will do for a temporary option. Hope this helps!

Hey the Note 3 is a sexy modern device lets say we make it look like something out of Logan's run so it can be not sexy and pseudo modern. We can get Andy Warhol to design it.

I took my phone out of my pocket and it looked as though the glass was separating. It's not cracked and wasn't dropped. I have it in a crizerlite case so it is protected. Anyone ever see this happen? If it's the glass I will just replace it with a new glass. I just wanted to make sure I get the gorilla glass and not cheap eBay knockoff. Links welcome!

Never done that either, plus it's only about 40 degrees here now. 26 at night brrrrr. I am going to replace the glass and go with that just seems like the glass is coming apart like it is laminated or something. Really odd.

I figured out that it is the glass separating from the black backing. I have never seen this happen, I know I'm hot but dang. Didn't think my body heat would cause that to happen. Haha.

I have a cracked screen and im thinking of doing a glass replacement, was it difficult?
Mine is doing the same by menu button same good case screen proctor and all i never saw this on any of the s3 me friends or family owned maybe went to cheap glue. Want to complain to Verizon but don't want to loss my mdk bootloader phone.

I ended up breaking the digitizer in my s3 and had to pay the 100.00 (asurion) anyway to get replaced on top of 40 for glass I never used. Fell free to try but takes lots of heat and time "TAKE your TIME".
