you can replace the menu color (in desktop menu) because if you have "white color and white font in menu" you don't see the font.
Sorry for my bad english, But I'm learning english.

It will get ALOT better if u replace the menu color as RAD1XS said!
Do that please =]

I promise future updates, if there are many more testers and leave comments about the theme. If not, it is like I am working for no reason. I can make many more themes and also make them better with more support.
I will rip off an update for this theme soon.

in modaco it is already included, with normal rom it works (tested and using it)
that is just a proof that it is working in the new release, but how could it be installed without flashing to modaco?
maybe by reading this thread?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4545215&postcount=7
yeah,...thanks... but as i said this method is not working with the new rom...
i figured out how to install it on the new rom!!!
as i said i have allready rooted it with this tutorial
Flashrec
so i had the cm-hero-recovery.img on my phone again
i restarted the phone holding POWER+HOME (not power+back)
then i typed in the following commands into the cmd (be sure that you have the Jbed.apk & libjbedvm.so in your android sdk tools folder)
Code:
adb shell mount /system
adb push Jbed.apk /system/app
adb push libjbedvm.so /system/lib
adb shell reboot
and after the reboot there it should be, i hope i could help someone with the same problem
Worked perfectly ginchiller ty
Is there a way to fullscreen mode?
I have installed the new opera mini but it has bugs with landscape.
Without landscape its ok but I want it in fullscreen...
for those j2me apps i tried yet, fullscreen works perfectly
How to install applications? When i run jbed i see sdcard folder. What i have to do?
close jbed, open a file browser, goto the folder where you stored the java-program (*.jar) and open/execute it with jbed (just open it, normally after a successful installation of jbed, jbed will pop up)
ohh, i will try another file manager because when i tap on .jar file in SUBFS its try to extract files not execute)))

What would I do to get it working with Fydor's ROM? (see my sig for link)
Great work JoOoSs!
Can you please make a How-To tutorial with the steps to make this possible?
I want to modify the look of my sense UI, but without create a custom ROM.
Thanks!
@David_94, i don't know if the fyodor loads tattoo-hack on start, try to execute install.bat. (I will update in a few minutes my script to automatically mount /system as RW)
EDIT = I think you have to do "adb remount" in a CMD before execute install.bat for the fyodor, if it works please say it.
@huetson2 & arturo025, i will make a HOWTO in the same place maybe tomorrow, it's very simple to do.
Thanks for interesting.

HTC Black theme for E15i X8

This is my black theme ported to X8.
Alfa version, works on Android 1.6 1.x.62 ..
Its a start, I hope we get 2.1/2.2 soon, so I'm not working actively on updating it atm, if someone feels thrilled - you can continue this work.
Thanks for uploading, looks great, like x10 mini goes black.
Hope you`ll update it on 2.1.
It runs good, thanks a lot.
I hope you give me permission to share it on my german Android User Page.
That would be great, and all the other Users thank you too.
It says it cannot replace the andriod system
Sure, share as you like, I'm not greedy

To Root you need "super one click", for example.
Then to copy the files to your system you need to install the sdk tool on your PC or install the Root Explorer from Market. It`s the easier way.

I made it.
Steps:
1.) Flash your X8 by SE Software Updater (with existing flash could brick your phone).
2.) Root your phone
3.) Follow the steps you read here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=821790 in "ANDROID_1.6_implementation_steps.txt"
4.) * App2sd your phone http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=8579902#post8579902
5.) Have fun
* Important! Existing ext2 partition could be cause that your phone desn't boot after App2sd. When this happen, put your SD card to your card reader and format Ext2 Partition and repeat step 4. Your SD card installed apps will lost, backup them!
! The framework only 95% because there is layout bugs here:
. search button (forexample in Market)
. alarm switch button is bule
. message bubbles are blue
. PatternControl (non default app, downloaded from Market) - when you enter your gesture code, the screen doesn't fit the screen
This bugs just cause the UI stranges, even so your operating system works perfectly.

[How To] Add percentage to the battery icon

Prerequisites:
1. You need an unlocked boot loader.
2. You need root.
3. You need a PC with adb that can see your phone
4. Your phone needs to have USB debug enabled
All of these are well documented here in the forum.
On the PC grab the two apk files that the UOT kitched needs:
Code:
adb pull /system/framework/framework-res.apk
adb pull /system/app/SystemUI.apk
Now go to the UOT kitchen and choose your battery style from the battery tab.
Next click on the "File Upload" tab and upload your two files.
Then submit your work to the kitchen and wait.
When the kitchen is done processing, you have a download called UOT-*.zip. download that. And extract it somewhere on your PC. Now you need to push the files to your phone.
Code:
adb push SystemUI.apk /data/local/SystemUI.apk
adb push framework-res.apk /data/local/framework-res.apk
Next you need to adb shell to the phone to remount the system partition as read-write and copy the files to their correct location. From the PC run "adb shell" Then, on the phone:
Code:
su
mount -o remount,rw /dev/block/mmcblk0p29 /system
cp /data/local/SystemUI.apk /system/app/SystemUI.apk
cp /data/local/framework-res.apk /system/framework/framework-res.apk
cd /data/dalvik-cache
rm *
Then reboot the phone. When it comes back up you should have your customized battery.
NOTE: This is all from memory so there may be some minor inconsistencies but the general concept is sound. The main thing you MUST do is unlock the bootloader and you MUST have root (temp-root should be fine)
NOTE 2: There are a lot more things that you can customize using the UOT Kitchen. I've only changed the battery but you should be able to change icons, taskbar, lockscreen and more. So, if you are comfortable doing so, have at it.
And one final note. This is the brute-force method. Once a CWM recovery is created for the Amaze then most (all?) of this is unnecessary and you can just flash the UOT zip file from recovery.

Here's a thought-let's all be patient and take one step at a time.
We need recovery before we start buggering around.

I agree 100% with this.
We need to be able to do backups with Clockwork as well as use other scripts such as fix_permissions, clear dalvik-cache, etc to prevent bricks, FC errors, etc.
Let's work on getting a recovery first.
I fixed it last night

It's only been tested on the 1.36.531.5 stock ROM(My Phone) but I imagine it will work on most all Sense 3.0 ROMS.
Screenshots of an identical mod I released can be found in my other thread here:

I flashed the stock kernel so that wifi could work on Android revolution rom. Wifi works now, but I'm unable to sync my phone with HTC sync, so that I can use adb. Any suggestions to what I can do to set up adb again? (I'm using a windows 7 laptop btw)

you can take Stock statusbar with percentage battery from V2T section in this post, extract framework-res.apk from it and replace battery graphics in it for any you like. You can use a Graphics replace from the same post for that.
