Some games do work, like the Pinball HD one, only available modded on [email protected] sites...
if your trained in it then there is a zip file on the thread that i linked you too.
It contains a read me and pretty much from what i can gather, tells you what you need to do.
p.s. when youve done it you can pop me a copy via email lol

I've tried running some tegra games but they don't seem to work. Developers need to start accounting for the SGS2!
our phones do not have the tegra chip so tegra games will not work.
Only way round it is if someone releases the plugins as stated above, or the developers stop being fannys and sort the games out to work on all phones

Hey buddies i got my optimus one a few days ago.
but acording to the info it must have 512mb ram but it only uses 300mb of ram the rest 200mb is inactive.Is there any way to make it active?
It will become active when the system needs it.

If you're blaming the RAM for the slowdowns when touching the screen, well, don't. It doesn't have anything to do with it. About the inactive thing, trust me on this: it will become active when the system needs it.
The screen lag has multiple fixes/workarounds in the dev thread.
no i was not blaming the ram for the game and i figured it out the game works fine.the problem was only a wrong cache but i can't find fifa 10 data files which supports my phone if any one got it plzz help me!

As for your problems regarding lag, try a different game and see if the problem persists.

Oh come on guys, why are you all after him. This phone has a feature to play games and if this guy wants to play games, why are you having a problem with it. If you think you are big enough, dont play but atleast dont mess with his thread. This forum is to help people having problems, not to make fun of them.

I downloaded Asphalt 6 Adrenaline in another forum and can't get it working on my XT720. I downloaded the Samsung Galaxy S version ( for ARM Cortex Processor) and the Milestone 2 Version, both have the same problem, it runs the game, I can enter the options and the garage, but if I enter Free Race or Career mode the game just crash. It happens even with my phone overclocked to 1000 Khz or 1200Khz. Someone that tried could get it working on his phone? How you did? I'm up to buy this game coz I guess it's worth it, but firts I need to know if it works on our phone, thats why I downloaded that "forum version". I don't think I can say where I got it, but isn't hard to find, so if someone could try and get it fixed, would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

So I can't get asphalt 6, dead space or need for speed to work. This phone should be able to run anything??? Any work around? Or can someone at least explain why they don't work.

What error is it giving? "Device unsupported" ?
My uneducated guess is that Gameloft and other game publishers simply haven't updated their games to detect the EVO LTE since it's so new.
Essentially the games might detect a device they don't know, so they won't run. Although the games should be able to run great on the device, you might need to wait for developers to catch up!
If you are getting a different error post it here!
Asphalt is a gameloft issue.
haven't tried Dead Space
Which NFS? I've been playing hot pursuit without issue.
They just start but then they close without errors displayed to the user (Dead Space & ME Infiltrator). I've checked with alogcat and it gives some Java VM errors, possibly having issues with compatibility of the device architecture.
We will have to wait for a fix from the developer.
PS. Remember, our phones are advanced and top of the line that doesn't mean that it will run everything straight out of the box. There may need to be code adjustments from devs to make our phone compatible with the software.
There's another thread with this same title in the Themes and Apps section. Someone posted in there...
"It should be noted that gameloft forces you to buy a new game for a new device they donot support moving games to your new device. Go to www.gameloft.com on your elte and you will see there are only five gameloft games that function with it and you likely need that specific apk"

my concerns are kinda scattered, so, yeah
well my main interest is installing good quality games.
came across Shadowgun thd for tegra 3 and I keep getting parsing error wherever I get the apk. then saw that the apks requires android 3, which then made me think to update to ICS if that would help..
so my concern is, would that really help in the firt place.
if so, how would I go around doing the update., i've rooted my xperia s by unlocking bootloader and flashing pre rooted sys.img. the way I see it I have 2 way to go. either relock bootloader and update ota, or just flash the ics stuffs..
id like to try it ota/pc as I have read somewhere that i'd still have root after relocking the bootloader. (is that true?)
but if I have to flash it, just concerned about losing my games.,
so folks if anyone can shed some light, I really love to try ics out, just really concerned about losing games I had to download for hours :*)
I thnk I found some answers, just read somewhere that tegra 3 exclusive games like Shadowgun thd can be installed, but will not download rest of data if it did not detected tegra 3 device, just like the dark meadow..but hey if any of you guys found a working workaround pls have me informed..

Will ICS help run Tegra 3 games on the Xperia S? Probably not.
Should you update to ICS anyway? Probably yes. Here's how.

Now ive been having thoughts with my team mates and we were thinking of Big Wave Advantage for PVZ2*Plants vs zombies 2*...this is so far on android and may move to iOS but for now we're working with android.
This mod should be safe since the mod and game is free. the problem is that we need to figure out how to add the textures to the game ...and bytes because due to the game having a = to byte number limit *cant be more than or less than the number* so we need some help from people that have been around modding.
We have the tools APKtool,JD-GUI,dex2jar,if theres more tools we need please tell...but we really need the help...if you can. thank you.
