OK anyone know if radio Shack will stack discounts.
They give 100 for the evo (my buyer backed out )
And I see they will give 75$ for other smartphones
Would it be possible to trade in both evo and my old moment?
To get 175 off?
from my phone duh

CheesyNutz, I asked the same question of 2 local Radio Shack Managers and both said only 1 phone. 1 of the Managers said that question had been asked numerous times and he wished that he could accomodate but the Regional Manager told him "No way".
Great minds think alike....
I don't know if this still works, but last year when I bought my Evo 4g, the guys from the Sprint store took both my Nexus One and Mytouch 3g for credit towards my Evo when I first switched over from T-mob to Sprint. My personal experience with Radioshack has always been pretty crappy anyways, plus you get $150 for your Evo 4g @ the Sprint store vs. the $100 from Radioshack.

Oh rly did not know this about the sprint store

Poor Cheesy
You can always pre-order at target as well. They are giving $150 to trade in for your EVO4G.
Yea me too with last year, they took my G1 and bricked moto clique and put the money towards my EVO.
My radio shack said the same thing. Normally they can stack but with the 3d its a strict 1 for 1. I have an appt with radio shack for Friday at 9. I preordered before the $100 trade in was announced and at the time I was told $150 - $175 for the trade in. So, I'm hitting the Sprint store at 8 when they open. If they have stock and will do $150 for the trade in I'll get it there and use my RS gift card for accessories. If they trade in value goes down by Friday I'll keep my appointment.
For those of you with a Moment, you may want to check on that $75 offer, when I pre-orderd, there was a list of the specific phones that the $75 is valid for and the Moment was not listed.
According to the RS website they give $158.13 for an Evo4g in Excellent condition.....and 3 weeks ago they gave $175 for it!!
http://radioshack.cexchange.com/onl...tBDmYmQgv+G1hsJdKb5c/KOlpLGqZRlMaOCAOqKlzyQ==
Also.....you can stack trade-ins if you sell them to RS and get a gift card....then use the gift card towards the E3D phone purchase!

[Q] Rebate after buying E3D?

Title says it all. Any rebate of any form when you buy it, Mail-in or otherwise?
I haven't heard a whisper of this and don't expect to. Your best bet is to port a phone number in on a new line of service for a $125 credit.
And yes, the port in credit is until JULY 23, not June--no matter what they tell you (I've had to correct 4 different sprint employees on this!!)
http://www.sprint.com/landings/portcredit/?ECID=vanity:switchtosprint
I got a 150$ instant rebate at sprint store with the buy back program because I used my wifes line to get my EVO last year. My 3D cost me 60 dollars out of pocket
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
Not really a rebate, but nice price!
The replenish I got 1 month ago only trades in for like $35, lol.
I'm already with sprint, I'm talking about something like the $100 mail-in rebate that I got last year with my Evo, Right now I'd likely be getting a $25 credit towards my account, the 150 for the OG Evo buyback and the $75 upgrade with it, I'm unsure whether it stacks, either.
199.99 is a great price, so I'm sure there wont be any rebates unless the price goes up. If you can use the buy back program, that helps. The OG Evo is worth 150, I traded that in along with my T-mo Galaxy S 4G and got the 3vo, Ottterbox defender, ballistic case and screen protectors all for free. Also ported my T-mo # over for the 125.00 credit.

Same thing here, from Radio Shack. I was expecting to pay $99, which was RS advertised price with trade-in, but then they said no, you get $150 back on trade in, so it was only $60.
got evo 3d and nexus s 4g for 50 bucks basically with no activation fees. 175 for each line port (125 + extra 50 per line from the sprint rep).
Helps having a huge corporate account with the company I work for. Thats in addition to 20 percent off every month. All in all really quite pleased with sprint at the moment.

[Q] What did you pay?

What did you guy's end up paying for your Evo 3D?
I got roped into a 2 year contract and had to pay the same $199.99 like anyone off the street would pay. And they basically told me that the $150 Silver Premier upgrade credit I had waiting for me didn't apply.
I feel as though I have been ripped off.
The way the math seemed correct in my head was this:
2 year contract price: $199.99 (was not in a contract before)
SP Upgrade Credit: $150.00
------------------------------------------
Cost out of pocket: $50.00
Seeing as I started this account with my own Evo 4G that I already owned outright, I think Sprint got one over on me.

Regular price for this phone is $549 (probably similar to what you paid when you bought your evo outright if you bought it from a retail store and not used from ebay/craigslist). The $199 price is the price AFTER your $150 credit and other discounts.
I bought my 3d from wirefly for $149 no tax. I got a $25 rebate for using the wirefly link on fatwallet.com. I then got a $75 credit on my sprint bill by calling in and renewing contract. Lastly, I sold my old evo4g for $185. So total price was:
$149-$25-$75-$185= I got paid $136 to upgrade to the evo3d (sprint waived the $18 activation fee also.)
I did the 99 dollar trade in deal through radio shack I had to give them my old EVO but I'm happy with this new phone.

I also ordered through wirefly for that price. Don't they automatically extend your contract when you order the phone? What was the activation process like when you received it?

So when you receive your phone there is this hugh warning saying "READ ACTIVATION PROCEDURE BEFORE ACTIVATING PHONE". So i read the procedure and they tell you to call this wirefly number. I did that and all they told me was to turn on my new phone and follow the information on the screen..(why were they neccessary). I left my old phone off while I did that. The process took less than 10 minutes I beleive
And yes they automatically renew your contract for two years. I called in to get the $75 credit since my contract was going to be extended two years anyway
Pre ordered mine from Radio Shack ...
199(phone cost) -150(traded in Evo) -50(pre order gift card) + 15(otterbox Impact case) + 25(invisible shield screen protector) = $40 Out Of Pocket!!!

Didn't you have to purchase the gift card when you placed your preorder? Thereyby making your total out of pocket expense $90?
$199 upgrade... even though I was still within my first year lol!!

That's exactly the same deal I got for my evo3d.- the otterbox case. Brought the htc rubber case instead.
Sam's Club
$174.88 @Sam's came to like $190 with tax plan to trade in old Evo for $150
I wish I could get "roped" into a 2 year contract...
I have no discounts available, except what they would give me for a trade in on my evo. so $549-??? = way too much for a phone
I would take definitely take it for $199 signing a new 2 year agreement

knlmwq explained it properly you got the right price from sprint although you could have gotten the phone cheaper elsewhere. Your best bet is sell your Evo 4G back to Sprint through their buyback program: h**ps://secure2.sprintbuyback.com/consumer
They should give you $150 for your old phone. Good luck.

I was expecting to take a hit because Best Buy and Target (and even the Sprint online page) told me I'm only "early upgrade" eligible which means only $75 off because I got my Evo 4G this time last year... but I ended up getting both myself and my wife an Evo 3D for FREE! I initially posted this here but it was moved out of this forum (to my objection). Here's how my wife and I got free Evo 3D's, and a bunch of Sprint deals I didn't know about where Sprint may actually PAY YOU to take an Evo 3D:

So as I understand it, you prepaid $50 for a gift card, which was then applied to the cost of the phone when you picked it up, which means you put a $50 down payment on the phone and still paid $90 out of pocket. According to your own post.
199(phone cost) -150(traded in Evo) -50(pre order gift card That you paid for out of pocket) + 15(otterbox Impact case) + 25(invisible shield screen protector) = $40 Out Of Pocket!!!
I paid $216.98 after taxes with 2 yr upgrade status. I was only only 8 Months into my 2 year contract and was expecting to buy the phone at full price. I was greatly surprised 2 days before releasing how my problems with my Samsung Epic would relate on me getting a new phone at 2yr upgrade price. I can say that my bank account and saving was very happy to keep its $300. I could have kissed the lady from Sprint through the phone.
Paid $179.99 two year contract
I paid $179.99 two year contract here.

Cheapest Price for the Evo 4G LTE?

I am impatiently waiting to get my hands on this beast! I have made friends with the store manager at my local Radio Shack. He said that they could match any price, anywhere! At one point, Wirefly had them for $119 but sadly that's gone. Bestbuy has the $199 plus the gift card. I have $200 in hand. Where shall I go?
Went to the Sprint store the other day. Got talking to a rooter sales guy. Sprint has a buy back program. He said $99 for the EVO 3D (I paid ~$55), $55 for my iPhone 3G (not even worth having it's so slow, my 4 year old would rather play with a broken nextel then the working iPhone), plus the $150 for new 2 year upgrade agreement and the $200 istant savings puts me right around $60. Hopefully I can use my preferred members discount to knock off the activation fee.
Walmart for 149.99, that's probably the cheapest place that has the phone in stock right now. If you count the gift card on Best Buy then same deal.
Best buy, $50 gc + 5000($100) rewardzone points with 2yrs agreement of course. Even less if you have a trade in phone.

$50 for old evo
$50 for activating a new phone
$50 for getting the evo lte.
Total cost to me = $56

Thats what I plan to do, but at my BB they told me their running a promo if you trade in an EVO its a $50 card plus value of the phone and I also have the $50 for the phone freedom....So -$50-100, if all goes as they say I'll let you know in the morning
I was considering BB but since the phone is no longer available for pre-order I'd miss out on that $50. I wish I hadn't trusted WireFly so much and just pre-ordered as a backup plan. Now I'm trying to decide if waiting another week is worth paying $100 for it or not.
I haven't seen where you get $50 for activating a new phone and I know the $50 pre-order GC is gone now.. But if that activation one is good I basically pay $150 OOP and get $100 in credit on my RZ account bringing it down to $50 after everything. Not bad..

Isn't that the deal that was available for preorders? I think the OP is referring to what's the best deal now since the phone is technically available in stores as of today. I'm still trying to figure it out myself. And as another thread said you cant combine the best buy reward zone points AND get the $50 gift card. I think walmart $150 sounds like the best no hassle deal as of now.

Evo 4g LTE for $0.01

Thats right, the htc evo 4g lte is only 1 cent on amazon right now with a new 2 year. Just thought i'd give a heads up
....what
What I don't understand is why I paid $50 more for my evo LTE than a new customer would have paid on Amazon. My family has been with Sprint for over a decade, doesn't that deserve a discount over a new customer?

Situation 1: You get the Evo for $0.01, and pay Sprint the same amount every month.
Situation 2: A new user gets the Evo for $0.01, and Sprint gets a brand new customer.
It's not fair but that's how it works.
