That's a great price for the dock, even with the $8 shipping fee. Too bad it showed out of stock now. I think CostCentral is OK, I bought a gaming headphone for my son from those guys last month, they shipped so fast I got it the next day from PA to NY.

I guess I'll have to depend on online stores, we only have two places close to me (in Ukiah, about 8 miles south of my place) that could POSSIBLY even carry something like that, Walmart and Staples, and they only carry the iPad, iPad 2 and Xoom. The nearest BestBuy to me is 70 miles south of here in Santa Rosa, and the nearest Fry's is 120 miles south in San Francisco, us rural folk are at the mercy of the big online guys

For what it's worth, I've had a preorder with them since 5/12. At the time I placed the order the expected delivery date was 5/25. It has slipped a couple of times and is now 6/15. I don't know how certain the latest date is but for the price I'm ok with the wait.
I know a few people who have purchased items with them and had not had any issues.

They have had it listed at this price now for about three months, and still don't have any in stock. The problem is, you have to pay for it NOW. It is not like Staples where you pre-order and they don't charge your card until it ships - Visions will charge you the money today and send you nothing and you have to wait an indefinite time. I don't like that setup. Also, when Staples finally does get stock in you'll be able to use any of their $20 off coupons to bring the price to this number anyway.

i had the lady check the local inventory over the phone, the two in this area did not have any in stock. she took her time and checked each color/hd size specifically.
They do not have them on display in Fountain valley. I was there yesterday picking up a few things and checked the tablet area only had a TF101 on display. Fry's is generally clueless on what they have in store let alone what they do not display.

I guess they sold out then, rather than not getting any. I actually was at Fry's (Northgate one) two days ago (Thursday) and they had them in stock. I bought a 32 GB grey TFP.
Later that day I played with it and I found out it had a stuck pixel on it. I tried running a pixel fix, but it didn't work. When I called Fry's to check if they had any in stock still, the Northgate one didn't. But Roseville actually did. They had 6 in stock of the grey 32GB TFPs (probably also other models. Didn't check). So I rushed out there and swapped my TFP.
I was somewhat shocked to see they put my old TFP back with a $25 discount sticker on it without mentioning the dead pixel...
Just picked up a gray one from Manhattan beach. I think the employees are stashing them. First one said out of stock and second guy kinda didn't want to sell it to me. He tried to sell me the original one.

LOL that's frys for you. I returned 2 acer a100 at my frys here. one had very bad WiFi the other touch screen issue. They just put discount sticker on them.

Just because it's not in stock right at this very moment, doesn't mean there wont be anymore. Place an order with a vendor you like (or one that is taking orders) and then you will get one when their next shipment comes in. If you had ordered from Best Buy a day or two ago, they were in stock, ship from warehouse in 1-2 weeks. Now they show out of stock. When they find out when they are getting their next shipment, they will show up as available to order again.
Many of us waited at least a month. Lots are still waiting on docks ordered at the end of November, beginning of December

I just found out why I couldn't find the gray dock on Best Buy's website. It does not show up if you search for anything that has "Transformer or Prime" in it. You have to search for "Asus portable dock."
However, they do have it and it is in stock now. I just placed my order finally!

Picked one up yesterday. They had to get the last one from the back and confirm that they are not holding it for anyone. Sales guy said that every time they get those, people descend upon the store like locusts and sweep them up lol.
ugh. showed 1 ready for in-store pickup in my area. ordered it and canceled my amazon order. Now I get an email that says the dock isn't available at the location and to call bestbuy. They dont have any in the phoenix area at all and the soonest they'll get them is the 29th. Now cheapest on Amazon is $277.

I had posted another thread that indicated that 384 primes were in the BBuy warehouse in St. Louis. I made a purchase on the 20th and will get the prime on the 26th. Dock is also in stock. I do think they are getting a mass amount of primes at the stores in the very near future.

Yep. I just called Office Depot and the manager said that if I brought my dock with the receipt and an add from Best Buy showing the new price of the dock, he would match their price and refund me some of the money. Pretty damn cool of him to do so if ya ask me. It's been almost a month since I purchased it. This is why I take the majority of my business to Office Depot now. I give them 2 thumbs up 4 sure!! :good::good:

Picking mine up today.Lucky i have a buddy that works in a city 1 1/2 hrs away and comutes everyday. Their best buy had 3 left.
I used the receipt in the other thread and got Office Depot to price match. I ended up paying $49.99 for the blue tablet I bought a month ago.
For those of you who need it, I also posted the price match receipt I got from Office Depot. It shows where I originally paid $119 and then the price match of $49.. I'm sure that if you take it to Office Depot they will honor it. (hopefully) LOL
