i am from chile and i flashed my ace with an european firmware 2.3.4 kph
and i lost my 3g conection, so i started seaching for a solution and found the firmware for entelpcs
... i dont have 8 post so pm me for the link
but i almost bricked my phone while flashing it
odin said pass but the phone never turned on
i followed the topic of how to unbrick my ace and it worked for me!!

It didnt worked, i have to disable 3g to make the phone recognise the signal, if i enable it it says: "only emergency calls"

ha, i finally did it
i managed to flash my device with the firmware i wanted to post
now i have my 3g working again but with android 2.2.1
hope someone release a better version for chile

I really want to have the newest firmware for my Ace but I am so confused by all these ROMs and CWMs and CFRoots etc. I have some knowledge about these things but I am new to Android. I see that flashing a new firmware with odin is not that complicated. But I have a problem. My phone is locked to Telenor network. Is it a problem? I dont know what is XXKA6 and can I install KPN?
Can I update???!!!
I don't know about the lock but KPL is for you its a Nordic version 2.3.3
*edit* Maby not, I didn't know telenor was in other country's than Nordics

You can flash to KPN. My phone is locked to Smart here in the Philippines but I'm enjoying KPN's benefits right now.

Hello Chinoyray! Kabayan Im also from philippines. Im planning to upgrade my SG Ace to KPN. I saw one of your post here that you are using same baseband version, and also its running smoothly to you with smart as your service provider. Just a question, I'm a globe user, is there be any conflict if i updgrade my SG Ace to KPN?? And would you mind if i ask you the files you used for the update? I have flashed the .67 .....The problem is that roaming data is always active, also if you switch off roaming....before with the right firmware (.62) I was able to disable the roaming data........
roaming is a problem that they have in many even with the .62
I use Vodafone and I have this problem with both the firmware
have to wait for someone to publish a list of firmware by region

I haven't another sim but with the same sim before flashing firmware i have no problems......

I lost my radio signal, I cannot talk or text.
I searched from the internet to find solution but Non of the informations are up to date.

The only way to fix this is by reflashing the baseband (or full flash, but be careful with that).
But I dont know how to do that. Can you tell me what can I do? Or is there any solutions?

I also replied on your other thread. Check it out. If you have to unlock your bootloader you can search the dev forum for radio basebands that work best in your region.

If you want to keep it locked, use full flash with RSD, but make sure you use the EXACT SAME sbf version as the one that's on your phone now.

Read a lot of posts on the internet regarding to solve it but all the files are either deleted or not available from the download sites.
I would just request if anybody would help me out with it.
i have it updated to android 2.3.6 and its not rooted nor is its bootloader unlocked.
the phone itself is network unlocked i.e i can use it with any network.
please help me out i need to find a solution to it quickly.

I think you'd better off sending a pm to the OP of that thread. Those radios he posted are both for the AT&T Atrix. I have an international Atrix with a different radio, so I can't help you any further. Sorry...

System Settings, Call Settings and navigate to Mobile Network. You need to make sure you are set to Automatic and not Manual. This will then use your carrier info from the SIM card to select your operator.

It's to easy, don't panic about this, you can flash ALL the radios out there in the internet for the Atrix 4G and see which one does the best performance for you.
You just need to search in xda something about "Atrix radios" and you will fin a lot, try to use the one recommended for you region.
To flash you just need to do the next steps:
1.- Put the zip file on the sd
2.- Reboot into recovery
3.- Select instal zip from sd card
4.- Search for the place where you put the zip file
5.- flash it
And that's all, it may take a little for the radio to be fully functional, but after a while it will work perfectly

hello everyone,
I'm currently using the stock orange france version of i9300....And yesterday, when I tried to flash the 4.1.1 official Jelly Bean i9300DLIB...everything seemed to be find, the signal is still there....BUT IT'S HOPELESS FOR ME TO MAKE ANY CALLS OR MESSAGES-not registered in network T^T....even through the signal is full and my phone can easily detect the SIM card
After that pain, I tried to find my way back to the stock rom from downloading (i forgot to do the nandroid backup but only imei backup) and all i found out is the "No signal" sign (circle with a cross) and it's still useless to make phone calls and messages before and after i restored the imei.
please help T^T....I'm one of many victims including my friends...

i did flash back to my stock and all i got is "nosignal"
in the 4.1.1 version i still have signal bar without accessibility calling to anyone else...sound the same

Im stuck a bit with update. I have downloaded the 5.0.2 android for my phone from sammobile but unfortunately odin always fail with the firmwares.
The only thing what i can do is installing back my old firmware, Otherwise not even kies could recognise my phone.
Is there a reason why its now allowing me to update it?
My current android is G850FXXU2BNK3_G850FOJV2BNK5_TUN
And i have tried G850FXXU2COI3_G850FNEE2COI1_NEE (This is for nordic countried...5.0.2)
and also tried G850FXXU2COE4_G850FH3G2COE1_H3G(This is for GB and H3G service provider)
Unfortunately both failed at the end.
I have tried the usual troubleshooting which was described here, but i think i just cannot find the proper 5.0.2 android for my phone.
Is it important which country i choose?
I bought the phone on ebay a year ago, made in Vietname, and the csc is TUN.

No it is just a simple sm-g850f (Tun).
I have put back the tunesian (original) firmware and it works like a charm now again....but still no luck with 5.0.2
