Hi, I am new to Android. I bought Galaxy S2 y'day. when the phone is locked, i have a wallpaper(image) and i have slide to unlock it.
In the other android phones in the stores i have seen a lock screen with slider (like the iPhone one) How can i get them?
Also where can i find good themes for Galaxy S II?

The S2 has Samsungs own lockscreen instead of the default android one (The slider). Give it time and someone will probably port it. Also the 'Themes and Apps' sub-forum might be a good start for some themes
You can get using widgetlocker. You have to pay for it but it is way better than the default lockscreen

Hi Guys ! I have recently purchased an international Version of the S3 (i9300) running Android 4.1.2 Jellybean (Touchwiz) not rooted, and I have noticed a series of white ghostly faints when using a black wallpaper on the lock screen , After some research I came to know that this is known as (Mura Effect) and that it happens to all All AMOLED/OLED displays, However, the Strange thing is that although I am using the same exact crop of the same wallpaper, it doesn't appear when I am on the home screen(on a blank page) . So, is this a software or hardware problem? and should I contact Samsung for a screen replacement ? Thanks for help in advance !

I have android 4.1.2 on my galaxy and wanted to know if there is any way to "remove" the home screen, so that I land immediately on the apps/widget page when I unlock my phone.

In case anyone is interested, it's possible with custom launchers like espied launcher 7
So, I got a broken galaxy gio and a galaxy young. Both rooted, gio is 2.3.6 and young is 4.1.2 . Is there any way of viewing Gio's screen from my Young, and, if possible, control it?
