No you don't have to. Official LG ROMS are for the new baseband only.

I want to manually flash V20E_00.kdz (using KDz...russian) which is the euro open unbranded firmware. My phone was bought from Vodafone Romania (with a branded firmware) and unlocked after few weeks. In present I have Mik's CM7 v6.5.7 with ClockworkMod 3.1.0.0 on the phone. I only flashed with KDZ a branded Vodafone RO firmware (downgrading, I made update with lg tool at v20g and at that time was not possible to root).
Q: Is it possible to flash v20e (unbranded, open eu) on my phone that had innitially a branded firmware withot killing him? (i don't have money ))

Yup, i've just checked. We'll get V20D instead of other version. Any current known bug/s for this? I dont really want to update, as Froyo seems quite ok for me =/

Updated just now and no icon alignment issue in drop down as of other country versions.
I got the.latest update from t mobile. Version 2.3.4 ..... its a tmobile g2.....if anyone has any simple.way or any hard way to root it and get s off please let me know ...thanks

There is no official 2.3.4 for that phone so I'm not sure where you got it from..

I have the same problem. I have SDK and ADB and Terminal Emulator force close over and over. No back up of stock rom.

Hi, I am using the milagrow 8GB tabtop. It is running Android 2.3.1 which is good. Gingerbread is still most reliable/ stable OS ever made. My advice would be - run as it is, apps run very well - many came from before. Its safe buy..... I too their demo in the office.

India is always the last to recieve any updates. But it will recieve the update.
On a side note, you dont need to make a new thread just to ask this!!. There is a indian discussion thread meant just for these things.

That's just plain incorrect. Flashing a stock unrooted rom will not change the counter

That'll not be the Indian firmware na? So, no more official updates, no warranty
1. For official updates u r still waiting, if u eager than change to LLC and switch back to Indian firmware when launched.
2. For your warranty issue before taking any issue to ASC flash back to Indian Firmware. It takes a couple of mins.

As far as I know that samsung don't give any official update to over that firmware which is flashed by odin, that doesn't matter that if you flash a official firmware of any country or of any other country.

U can change ur CSC to get OTA.
But if you are reluctant to all than best is u wait for Official Update for India and you very well Samsung always delay updates for India.
Even in next few days for India you will get firmware LLA or LLB while for Spain its already LLC.
Now its your option you wait for OTA for an older firmware or update to latest.

I need help in updating my su760 its currently on 2.2 froyo i've been stuck on it since i bought it . I cant update it i tried the LG support tool it doesn't update my cell it gets stuck on 7-8% i tried other methods i always end up with no imei , have got it fixed from the market about three times can anybody please help me in a step by step on how to update it to ICS if not ICS then please help on updating to GB and can anybody post the link of GB kdz as i cant find it niether do i know the version i know that ics was v30b i dont know what GB is but even if somebody gives me the GB kdz i still wanna know how can i update this korean cell please help me :'( i need your help

bro i'll advise you do not update because the rom out there is corrupted i updated mine and it got stuck on the lg logo, it boots when it wants and when you update there is no downgrade kdz anywhere
