Active Sync Issues- Anyone Else? - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So i have been experiencing horrible sync issues when i am trying to sync to my exchange 2003 account. I have synced this account with several other handsets (Android, iOS) and never had any issues. Email seems to work fine but it only seems to be syncing half of my exchange contacts.
Also, the calendar seems to sync fine but then i noticed that it keeps trying to sync my calendar even though there are no updates (seems like every minute). The end result is that it eats my battery and not trust worthy.
I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem. Unfortunately i have had to use touchdown since the sync is not reliable.
Anyone else have issues trying to sync contacts and calendar with a Exchange 2003 account.
Thanks

HD2 has suddenly stopped getting Calendar updates from Exchange.

Hi all
My HD2 is running the standard T-Mobile ROM (I know!) and has been working fine using an over the air sync my Exchange server. However, in the last few days both mine and my bosses HD2's have stopped syncing the calendar from Exchange to the HD2. Emails, contacts etc are fine.
Appointments added to the phone sync back to Exchange and appear in Outlook, but any appointments added to Outlook do not sync back the other way. I have tried removing the server partnership and adding again, have rebooted the server etc.
If I watch the Activsync screen whilst it syncs, it actually sees that there are items in the Calendar to be synced but they don't appear and there are no errors.
Any suggestions would be great!
Tom.

[Q] Exchange Calender sync

Has anyone else using an exchange server found that after a couple of weeks the calender stops syncing both ways but has no trace of errors.
I have been using the default email app to create an exchange account which I have it sync for calenders. The calender auto syncs as soon as I have created a new calender entry or will sync a calender entry made from my laptop when the account is asked to sync again. So both ways work fine.
But I have found that after a couple of weeks the calender sync just stops syncing to the server or from the server. But there is no error in the sync menu so unsure what's going wrong. There is no problem with the exchange server as my laptop never experiences this nor does anyone else at work.
Keep in mind everything was great and no settings have changed to cause this to happen. This has happened twice now, maybe even three times.
This last time I found I accepted a meeting request with touchdown (great email app for exchange by the way) and the email was sent out that I accepted the email and the exchange server was updated as my laptop gained the entry, but it never showed up in my calender entry on my phone.
The way to fix it is to delete the exchange account from the phone and create it again for it to all work properly again.
I will try and get another meeting request to be sent to my phone where I accept it to find out whether this caused the problem... but I have my doubts.

Corporate Exchange account will not sync shared calendar

This problem has been bothering me for a long time now.
I have an Exchange account with my school that I sync my email and contacts to my android phone with no problems. However, the school made a shared calendar for our class schedules that I added to my Exchange account (by adding the URL), but this calendar will not sync to my phone. If I create my own events in my personal calendar, that works fine and shows up, but the calendar that I added from the school will not. It shows up just fine on Outlook on the PC.
My current solution is to just add that calendar to my google account and sync it, but the problem with that is that our class schedules can sometimes change suddenly and gmail doesn't sync very often, which has led to some problems for me in the past. I would much rather have the direct syncing of the calendar to my phone instead of through google.
What makes it more aggravating is that my friend has no problem syncing the calendar with iOS, so I know it should be possible. I've tried using Touchdown but that has the same problem.
Here is an image from the Outlook Web app showing both calendars
Thanks in advance for your help
My phone: MyTouch 4G running ICS. I had this problem even on other GB roms.

Exchange Calendar Sync problem

I just recently flashed DSC 1.3 pre 3 and so far everything seems to be running great. Thanks people for great development.
Just want to ask... I was able to setup my Exchange Mail but it seems that my Calendar does not sync... or the events I have do not even show in my Calendar. I did press the sync button for Calendar but still no success.
Anybody having the same issues or idea how to get it sync?

Outlook contacts randomly appear and disappear

Hi everyone,
I don't use Google services as I have Office365 subscription. So I use all MS apps including Outlook which is my primary contacts storage. The automatic sync is enabled in both the Outlook and the device as well. The exception to start Outlook automatically is also enabled. But I have an issue to display contacts in my default app. Some of them randomly appear and disappear. It seems to be more with frequent used contacts. Some of them just disappear for a couple of hours. I also found out that account sync in the phone settings is old. So it seems that it could be also connected with the issue. I tried to contact Outlook support 3 times past half an year and they said that they are working on the issue but there is no ETA for the solution so I should check updates regularly (which I did past 6 months).
Does anyone have the same issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
