No, it is specific to phone/ROM, it would have to be ported.

I ported a similar one, see here.

[Q]

I have seen the galaxy s 2's widgets on youtube and i especially liked the weather widget. I was wondering if someone has ported it or will. If it is already ported, can someone tell me where i can download it. Thanks in advance!
If it has been ported, it would most likely be in the Themes and Apps section.

[Q] How to create a theme that works on all Android devices?

I am looking to create a theme for a particular show that many of the fans have been asking for. I have used many ROMs in the past but I've always liked CM better than all the others (Been with them since V1). I know not everyone uses CM. So my question is how do I create a theme that is universal? Universal as in can be used on all Android devices, whether it's stock, rooted, or has a custom ROM installed. Thank you!
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Please?
You can only theme certain aspects for every rom, including unrooted users. You'd have to make a zip with icons, dock, and wallpaper and let the users theme it themselves. Or you could make a theme for a launcher, like ADW. You can't change the systemui or framework that way. Best bet would be to make a theme for CM7, that's the best way to reach the largest number of people. You can make the icons and such available for others, and allow someone to port it to their rom if wanted.
You're not going to reach everyone since roms and phones vary so widely.

Can I use this kind of theme with ADW?
Does anyone know if EX Launcher themes are compatible with ADW launchers?

CM9 Theme Manager

Are there any themes for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 supporting the CM9 T-Mobile Theme Manager?
If not, feel free too post links or themes.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1643406
Anyone else have trouble with themes? I've tried a couple and the manager says it's not compiled correctly and doesn't apply.
yeah, me too. Probably not suited for tablets, only for the SGS2
I've been working with a number of theme developers to remedy this situation. It's not clear what the issue is--but simple themes are more likely to work than those that are more complete.
going to take a shot in the dark here but going to say the xml is the cause of all the issues..

Are we able to add or download new themes into ics roms

Hi everybody.
im using the new ics kernel made by Arjen on androidcentral for my p505.
earlier today i had probs getting fm radio to work, i found out that cm9 has no fm radio support.
now onto my next prob,
are there newer themes that you can actually add say into ics 4.04 using theme chooser, or is this another thing not yet implemented into cm9?
any help would be greatly APPRECIATED. thanks
Can be a kernel problem try to patch a new kernel.
kind regards

i guess ur response was for the radio prob, there is no kernel issue here,
there is one kernel that works for people NOT using a P500, i must state very clearly here, im a p505 user, its a phone BASED ON the darn p500's hardware. NOT the same phone, but yet p505 ppl can use p500 roms, only recently ics is bootable because of dude working on p505 ics kernel.,
i really think cm9 has no extra themees. but i shall await more responses
I don't know whether your ics rom has the theme Chooser implemented yet, but if it does, there certainly are plenty of cm9 themes available... if I understand you correctly.
Most are hdpi, so I've been working on mdpi ones https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=acr.ignition.cm9.mdpi
^There is one of my themes that's on Google play. I have a bunch of others too, so there definitely are "working" themes.
mmm
i got theme chooser all right.
and whats the diff between hdmi and mdpi. i would presume the old p505 is not hdmi. i guess certain themes would not work on the display??
do these themes add in live wallpapers as well. i mean its lame how theres always been like 2 live papers that actually work, then there were no live papers for like tons of builds and roms, now they are back again lol...
as for themes i guess i cant get them just anywhere, are themes just on google play? i figured they be stored on the forums as well or thered be a community page were u can direct download themes

Cm Theme issue

I am using cm7 and downloaded different themes ,.....most of the themes are working fine but with some themes dialpad key "1" is not being themed and looking like normal (with out theme) . any solution?
You should ask the authors of those themes. You didn't even say which themes are you talking about, you really expect someone will be able to help?
Also, questions should go to Q&A.
if some of themes are wroking well it shows that theme is not coded good or not compatible with your cm7 version.
So ask to theme developer for the problem
