Strange notification? - Motorola Droid X2

Hey guys need some help. When I turn my phone off into standby mode my notification light blinks and there is no notifications or anything like that. Was wondering what's the deal cause it has never happened before until today.

This has happened to me once and a reboot handled it. Never happened again...don't know why it did it....

Do you have any led apps?

Mine actually did that this morning as well. I had to reboot to get it to turn off.

[Req] LED Flash with Ring

I don't know if this is possible but thought it would be cool if it could be done.
Would it be possible to have the LEDs for the camera to flash when the phone rings? I know the phone would have to be face down but mine is actually quite a bit. Thanks in advance for anyone willing to look into this and see if its even possible.

that would be cool but such a battery hog
I don't think it would use very much battery with it being an LED. I could be wrong though.

That would be good for the disabled (deaf).
Yea. I didn't even think about that. I was mainly thinking for at night when my kids are sleeping and my phone is turned down real low.

LED notification light

Not a big deal, but is the led supposed to change colors for different states? Mine comes on at 90% during charging & flashes for notifications but it's always just green.

O Ya, Forgot That Usually I Never Let It Get That Low.
Mine changes color... I get blue, green, red and yellow... Tweetdeck gives me yellow notifications, cnn breaking news gives me red as well as the battef getting below 10%, and facebook and skype give me blue....

I Think It's Cool That The LED Changes Color Because It Gives You An Idea Of What's Waiting Before You Unlock The Screen. Also There's An App Called "Blink" Free In The Market That Let's You Customize I Wanna Say Nearly Every Notification.
Thanks for the info. I'm still in the process of setting up so I haven't even scratched the surface of what it can do.

Can someone else confirm this app works on their phone? I am unable to get it to actually light up the LED.
Ooops
Sorry, I Guess It's Not Compatible. I Never Used It Before I Just Remember Someone Glorifying Last Year How Great It Was.
curious to see if anybody else chimes in here, I thought it was a bit strange that there are virtually no controls built in for the LED. I'm used to my old winmo phone where I could tell it whether or not to blink & for how long.
Free app called Light Flow Lite - lets you change your LED notification light for any notification that triggers the LED light. It's free, and works with the Droid X2 - i've tested it
Note: You do indeed need to have the screen off when testing LED colors, it will blink approximately every 2 seconds so give it a second after turning the screen off while testing.

Droid x2 shuts off at night?????

I will be charging my phone and I will wake up in the middle of the night and check the time and my phone will be off??? I have to pull the battery out and restart it? Its happened to me like 5 times. Why is this happening and what can I do to fix it??

It started on my DX2 after the GB update. Moto blew it again. It seems to happen when the phone is plugged in, goes to sleep and will not wake.
After having my DX ruined by GB, I'm never getting a Moto again. I feel bad for the suckers that are getting Bionics.

Are you stock or rooted or running a custom rom? Any scripts? Check your battery saver settings possibly? Helps people narrow things down if you include what your phone is running if you have a problem

Im just stock GB

I had that happen to me and it appears to be related to certain live wallpapers. Try switching to a different wallpaper -- preferably a static one -- and see if it still happens.
Mine does the same thing with static wallpapers

mine did it completely bone stock the 2nd day I owned it, a pretty poor first impression. Its done it once in the couple months since.
Edit: even stock static wallpaper, I think wifi was on
I rooted, froze a lot of Verizon crap and switched to static wallpaper. Running 2 days. So far so good.

Screen doesn't turn on sometimes?

Have to hard reset it or plug it in to charge for the screen to turn on. Anyone? Experience this?

I had it happen once, but not in a couple weeks and plugging it in, didn't work for me. It acted like it was turned off, but required a hard reset to turn on.
A little annoying but just a minor flaw. Has happened to me once. Yesterday, actually.

My Motorola Droid X2 is stuck boot screen

So more detail is needed.
I had rooted my droid x2 and was pretty happy, wasn't having any problems and had changed my font around a few times with ROM toolbox perfectly.I never changed Roms though. Well one day I decided to change it to another font that I used before and this time when it rebooted it just stayed on the big red M logo and never finished booting, I have tried pulling the battery, doing fastboot, and even android recovery ( and I can't find a file that works for it), and a bunch of other things without success. Mostly I find things with broken download links. So if anybody can help me fix this that would be great.

Could be bad battery
Sent from my Amazon OtterX using Tapatalk
The original battery did go bad ( it had expanded on the sides) but that was a while after it started the issue and I just got a brand new battery two weeks ago for it. So it could be an issue with the battery?

Yes, or just too low to boot, or even charge
May need a spare battery charger
Sent from my Amazon OtterX using Tapatalk
Well dang, I plugged it into a wall charger and the screen popped right up to its charging screen. Im an idiot to not think of that I'll let it charge overnight and try getting to that rsd support again in the morning.
