Feeling Smoother with X10 mini - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
hi.. today i just work with x10 mini and noticed how smooth it is(very smoother than our x10).. the question is.. why do i feel smoother with x10 mini when x10 have higher cpu and same ram?.. i you'd x10 mini you would understand what i mean..

What was the mini running? Try comparing the same firmware or/and ROM with the x10 and mini. Then see which is smoother. I really personally believe that the mini can't be smoother than the x10. I am running J's CM ROM sometimes and its one of the best or is the smoothest ROMS I ever flashed. I Wouldn't put the mini smoother than the x10. Just my opinion.

mini was running stock SE 2.1 and x10 was running TripNMiui..
before i see mini.. my opinion was like yours..

Doesn't matter that X10 has a cpu running at a higher frequency because the resolution of mini is less than that of X10. So less number of pixels to push. But image quality and text viewing will not be as good as the X10.
Also does the mini have a fps cap?

Mini Pro - have to admit the ONLY reason I have this device was because of the qwerty keyboard... + small form factor size. On the bonus side of things, its spec is awesome.
Mini Pro. To have a keyboard on a phone of this sort of size is pretty awesome.

Mini Pro. I cannot live with a phone that has no physical keypad. I'm sending around 3000 text messages a month and typing with a physical keypad is much much easier/errorless.
