Anyone else having issues sending messages with handcent sms? Been having issues since yesterday, and for the life of me, cannot figure out what is causing this. The last major thing I did was install Chainsfire, superpower app, and unistalled it, and then went on to install pulser, s rom, which wipes, hoping ofcourse, a wipe would solve my previous problem, but no same problem. The default sms app is working fine, and handcent is working fine, on my wife's sg2, so it cannot be handcent fault, anyone else? Please.

Ive added my personal email account but am not receiving anything. My macbook is receiving emails fine, my Captivate received them fine Thursday before I swapped to my Atrix. I just sent a test email out and got a reply, so I can send but I cant receive, is anybody else having this problem? Its not making me to happy...
Im on Gingerblur and everything is working great other then that.

I don't have any of the pseudo-roms installed but I seemed to be having gmail not appearing on my phone. My regular comcast mails are coming across just fine. Have you fixed your problem?
I too am having push email problems. Push has worked fine up until thursday or friday and all of a sudden I have to go into the Gmail app and refresh in order to get my emails. I am running stock rooted with the latest updates. I know I could restore the phone but I do not want to have to reconfigure everything (I could use titanium if I have to but I fear backing up).
Any help would be appreciated.

Okay, so I use GoSMS Pro. I used it with the stock messaging app for a while, but then when I rooted and such and got Titanium Backup, I thought I'd be smart and freeze the stock app (since it was basically useless to me). I noticed that GoSMS wouldn't auto delete messages though, so I unfroze the app even if it seemed like it was just wasting space. But I also read later that uninstalling/freezing the stock app made MMS messages get screwed up, so I tried sending one and receiving one from a friend and indeed mine do not work now...My APN settings seem to be correct. The stock app is unfrozen and works otherwise...but my MMS is still screwed up. What can I do?
EDIT: Okay I figured it out. If you delete the non-stock SMS app you use, it seems to magically make things work again. I just deleted GoSMS and then my MMS worked. I'm sure re-installing GoSMS would work fine, but I happened to install Handcent this time. Everything still seems to work. Sorry for the topic! Someone can delete this, or close it if you think it could help others.
I'm having a problem where the SMS app FCs whenever i get a text. I've tried using other SMS apps such as Go, but they still aren't coming in. Is there a way to reinstall the SMS part without just reflashing and starting over? Everything else seems to be working well so i don't want to rock the boat, but texting is the main use for my phone :-/
Ok for the last week or so I have been having problems with sms. I can send them all day long but I could not receive any from anyone. After trying to install several different SMS apps to see if that fixed it and trying to change sso and other things I finally came across a possible fix. I uninstalled Google+, wiped to factory data reset, wipe dalvik cache and cache and i got tons of messages. And now every message i have people send me as a test comes through without a problem. The new update that came out with Google+ changing the messenger hijacks the phones sms service to use it to send and receive sms but only the google+ messages come through it.
Did anyone else have this problem and get the same results by uninstalling Google+? Looking for verification from others. My wife has a Droid X unrooted and she doesnt have the same sms problems with or without G+.
I have not had any issues with sms or mms with G+ installed on my Thunderbolt.

One thing that's been bugging me though. All notifications work for all apps except SMS (using the Android default SMS app, not some 3rd party one). Anyone else have this issue? I've reviewed the SMS app settings a dozen times and they're all correct.

I'm having the same problem. I've gone back and forth with customer service and haven't gotten anywhere. Did you ever find a solution?
