I've finally managed to get Timescape working on G3
I was trying since long to make it work but some or the other bug remained..
This Timescape is ported from Xperia Arc by myth999

How to Flash via CWM
Download the zip from here and flash via CWM
Timescape: http://db.tt/JPP2x1Wj

UnInstaller : http://db.tt/cdrO1Fjm
Flash it via CWM !
#Boot into recovery..
#select install zip from sdcard..
#select choose zip from sdcard
#Navigate to timescape_rapier07-signed.zip and select it..
#Select yes..
#Flash the timescapeWidget zip similarly
#Reboot after flashing
Note : The zip DOESN'T contain a build.prop, please modify your's using Root Explorer.
How to edit build.prop
Using Root Explorer open "build.prop" in text editor in /system:
Edit the following line

The photo widget does not work, I am not able to select the homescreen. It does not even show up as a selection, no timescape widget as shown in one of your screenshots. Any ideas on how to get these to work???

Did you install all the apks from the widget pack and copy the files in correct place?
Also did u edit the build.prop as stated?

Hey, I tried everything that you said. Still my Touchwiz UI persists. I could not edit the build.prop file using Root Explorer, so I copied it onto my PC and then edited it and copied it back. But it refuses to get overwriten. What do I do? I have rooted my G3 already using SuperOneClick...
The problem is its not getting copied even after I click on Copy. I've given root access to Root Exp, why is this still happening? Can you help me out please?

I am porting applications from x10 to our x8 devices and later make a rom for it. For now I have ported 85% of the dialer.
Here are some screenshots and apk
Here are instructions how to install it:
1.Download Contacts.apk from the attachments
2.Transfer it to your SD Card
3.Using RootExplorer copy the file to:
System/App/
4.Then long click on Contacts apk and select permissions

Now you should see two new icons in your app drawer for contacts and dialer
Please give me feedback. This should work on any 2.3 or later android versions. ( I have not tested if it works on 2.1 and 2.2 but it probably wont )
Soon other applications will be ported and then made as a rom.
UPDATE:

Made the bottom bar even smaller. Fixed the dialer so it will extend to all the wight . Added letters to the numbers. fixed the size of quck links ( when you click on a contact picture )

i've installed it and it's nice but i've deleted phone.apk (DO NOT DO IT) because it is a service which brings telephone to x8 xD
now not to reinstall all the rom i've put phone.apk in /system/app folder
but NOW i've to know which permission needs

Don't worry, all your contacts will remain in the phone book. The only thing that will change with this contacts.apk it's the UI of the dialer, phonebook, log and favourites. Nothing else is changed/affected.
Great work man just continue this way and maybe is better to tray porting from
xperia mini it have same resolution as x8

Why should we get the full version instead of lite version? Here's why:
These apps are in TouchWiz style in the full version(and not in the lite version):

Hello, thanks for this theme, it looks very nice
But i can't install it. SDK installed on my computer, busybox is installed in my rooted phone, the phone is connected in usb debuggind mode.
But when i copy/paste the adb commands in a command prompt, i accept the root acces, but i got a "no such file or directory" in the command prompt :/
Am i doing something wrong ? thanks.

Have yet to test this theme, great idea though, my dad just bought the galaxy S II and the theme is great on it, so good to see we can use it on our sony xperia neos.

Instruction:
1. Search build.prop that located in system using root explorer and edit:

Add a new line

2. Download attached TimeScape2.3.2.zip and put to sd
3. Boot to recover, and install .zip file
Optional:
1. You need Sony Home Screen for Timescape widget to work as attached bellow.
2. For those who dont want the widget, just download and flash the .zip file.

Yup, I did change build.prop still no use...!!!
Double check your build.prop
If its the same on op.
Try this,
Remove fb account from timescape,
Its easier goto setting, app, all app, clear cache and data each app related to timescape.
Reboot and try loggin timescape fb.
See if it fix.
Edit: i've uninstalled, and re flash, and it works fine. Anyone having the same problem?

- no infinity view. i added manually but unfortunately its doing F.C.
- no widget even with se home.
- facebook, when click the post, its direct you to browser not to official FB application which not happed in last release.
could you port the last version of time scape from 2.3.4??? or can you tell me if we need to do for original files more than change permissions?

Yeah, do you know what files we should need to get the latest version/style of Timescape (like in 2.3.4 that Tiles for example FB link to the buildin style messagetiles/messagelikes)...? That really worked like a charm - in my opinion even better than the FBapp or the browserlinking..... 8-D

i didnt include the infinity view bcoz of FC
there is widget for se home, with the home apk i've attached and it works well
as for now, it just direct you to browser

What the app has thus far:

1) Swipable pages. There are 2 (for now - hoping to enable "new tabs/pages") swipable views that can be navigated independantly (just like you would on a desktop computer with 2+ explorer windows open.
2) Files can be cut, copied and then pasted within or across the swipable pages. (long press anywhere on an item or check the boxes in order to bring up the "contextual action mode" (screenshot 3)
3) The drop down at the top of the page displays the folder hierarchy for the currently selected folder view.
4) The start of a file details screen (Screenshot 5). There are a lot of functions that people can perform on files (MD5 checking roms is a big one in my mind) and I just don't like the idea of relegating those functions to dialog boxes or menus. I know that this kind of view isn't something that any of the other file explorers have, but I think there is value in departing from that convention. Note: MD5 and permissions aren't implemented yet. Soon though.
5) MD5 summer and checker is now working! I tested it on a 100+mb rom and it ran pretty quickly (5 or 6 seconds) on my Galaxy Nexus, so Rom Flashers might enjoy using this one. I don't have the UI polished to my satisfaction yet, but the functionality is there.
6) Sharing files is now enabled. The updated ShareActionProvider for 4.0+ will be coming at some point.
7) Opening/installing files/apks! Bugs aside, the app now handles almost all of the usual file explorer functions.
8) Themes! Switch them under general settings, and then exit if switching between dark and light or darkactionbar to get the text colors to reload properly. Working on fixing this.

Uninstall The Theme. Then Move The theme apk to System/app With Right Permission Using Root Explorer. (RW R R) and Reboot.
Btwn Which PHONE U Using My Friend.? And Which Android Version?
I have moved the apk to system/app with permissions. Icons changed but no change in status bar. I wish to have the battery icon please.

Hai just for your information . We can change the navigation button blue like i have . You can change it at xperia xposed >> system ui >> colored soft key. Thx before for the theme
