If you want the icons, download the icon pack found in that link. As far as I know, the only difference in that launcher is the icons. Just change the icons for the apps and it will look identical.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App

that does have good icons....

I already have the pack I just need to know how to change them. Its a touchwiz launcher, not adw or launcher pro

It's depend on what rom you have on your phone. If you are using Bi-Winning V3 or (Project-V prior to the new release of 06/05/2011), I already posted the TW4 along with the color icons. You can click the link below my signature.

Find the apps you want to change; messaging, contacts, dialer tab activity, any others you want to change. Use 7zip and open the archive. Go to Res/drawable hdpi and find the app icon. Take the icon you want to replace it with and rename it to the name of the original app icon. Drop it in the the hdpi folder and your done.

Use root explorer and go to: system/app. Find the apps you want and copy and paste them to your internal or external. Take them from the SD, and place them on your PC. Then do the 7zip.

Replace LauncherPro App Drawer Icon with Stock Application Icon?

Did a search and don't think I'm finding the right thing.
Basically what I'd like to do is change the default Launcher Pro app drawer icon with the stock TW Application Icon. Does anyone know where that icon is located? Thanks.

Thanks for the tip. Don't know why I didn't think of that. Sure enough it was in the tw apk after I extracted it.
Care to share the app icon you got from unzipping? I need/want it too

How to background of app drawer.

Anyone know how to change backgrounded stock se app drawer. Well not really how. But where that file is located?
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
Not sure how or if you can change that using se stock home. But if you use go launcher that allows you to use whatever picture you want for your app drawer.

ADW Launcher EX allows you to do this as well (at least to change the colour). The regular ADW might as well but it's been a while since I used it.
That's cool that Go launcher allows you to use pictures. Wonder if there is one that allows you to use a transparent background.
Not sure where the file is located though.
The arc launcher has a transparent app drawer. It uses the homescreen wallpaper

Guess I should give that Arc launcher a shot.
I could have sworn there were some themes that I used (possibly on a different ROM) that had transparent app drawer backgrounds as well. Oh well, no big deal.
Good stuff. But does anyone have an idea about the stock se background file location for the app drawer?
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
I don't think that it uses an independent image for the background - I think that it's coded into the app drawer HTML/ JAVA code..

In fact, it is NOT an image. It is a hex code color (for example, #ffffff)
So you could change the color but not use an image as a background.
Case closed.
Okay and I would like to change that value to #000000. File location and name would be most helpful.

You need to have two copies of the apk on your PC. Decompile the first apk and then navigate to /res/values/layout and look in the XMLs there and try to locate it. Sorry, I haven't used the stock launcher almost ever, so I don't know the exact xml file and string name.
After changing it, save the file and recompile.
Then, from the newly created apk extract all the xml files and the resources.arsc file.
Place them in the second apk using 7-zip and compression method "Store".
Hopefully, you should be ready to go!
Word of advice: before doing all these, make sure to install a home replacement, so if the new apk won't work, you won't be left without a launcher. Or make a nandroid backup with xrecovery! ;-) Best of luck!
I got it figured out. Thanks for getting me on the right path. Problem was that I was using winrar to extract apk. For future I used the apk manager to decompose apk properly and this allowed me to edit xml.

If you unzip the pack on PC and then load the.unzipped folder onto your SD. Go yo file manager and there will be a tab listed ad themes select your themes and have fun.

How do I customize all icons for all apps?

Hello everyone. I would like to change all the icons for all the apps on my phone. How would I go about doing this? I have Desktop Visualizer, but I don't think that is going to do the job. I have many icons to use, just not sure where to put them or how. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I would prefer not using a launcher. I would like to change it inside the ROM itself. I would do it per app if I have to. Just not sure what I need to change.
Sent from my PG86100 using xda app-developers app
I would be more interested in learning what file I should look in to find the icon so I can change it directly, not dl more to my phone to do it for me. I like doing things in a more hands on manner. I am sure there is a way, I just don't know what it is, yet

The All Apps icon is located in the skin apk of the skin you are using. Sometimes the icon is located in fusion.apk if you are running one of the stock skins. It's in the m10 file as the home_icon_all_apps.png
The program called VTS is the only one that can decrypt the m10 images file so you can change it. The program isn't free, but if you want to skin, it's worth the $20. Plus, the site has many easy to follow tutorials.
Edit: I misunderstood. See: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=40659662

Very easy. .just open the .apk file with winrar and extract drawable-hdpi folder. In this, u will see the icon file. Just replace it with your icon. But remember to give it a same name.
Sign the .apk then with apk signer.
Copy it to phone and install.
Enjoy...

I thought of this as it's easier and free if you use 7zip instead of Winrar. But I couldn't find the image there. The only place I found the image was in the m10 file. What's the name of the file in the drawable-hdpi folder that you're suggesting be changed? There are around a thousand in there so maybe I missed it.

For skins, no PNG files are in drawable. They're all in drawable-hdpi except the few in the drawable land folder (at least the ones in the res folder). But I don't think icon.PNG is the All Apps icon. I think it's the icon that shows in file explorer when you're browsing your files. I just looked through the drawable-hdpi folder for a couple of different skins and didn't see the All Apps icon there. So, I still think the only one is in the shared.m10 file in assets which one needs vts to decrypt.

That's my embarrassed face. I totally misread the entire thread. Wow!
He said "all the apps icon" and I read "the all apps icon". So, ignore most of what I wrote. Hossman is right. If you want to use Sense and have custom icons for apps, you'll have to change each individually in each app how Hossman said. It's a pain.
I still stand by VTS for working with apk files, but it's not necessary for this application.
