Mine does!!!!!!!
Dualboot into 2.1 to get stock camera heheheheheh
2.3.3+2.1 = 4.4.3

Fancy
I have a few questions, however:
Does it work with the latest .67 baseband?
Why does it have the CM Settings from CM 6.xx? This being 2.3.4, you could've introduced the CM Settings from CM 7.xx branch. Again, this is just a question - simply out of curiosity.
Does it have the new CM 7 Theme chooser app? If it doesn't, does it support installation of the same? Personally I can't do without the lovely MattedBlues theme, or the CyanBread theme
And finally, which version of xRecovery does it contain?
I'm chuggin' along on a 2.3.4 MIUI currently, but I'd certainly love to give this a shot. Cheers fellas!

Thats a nice way of saying it, but what I meant was - try finding a ROM has camera support while on Gingerbread, on the Xperia.

Well the answers to the questions are
No it doesn't work with the latest BB .67
I just wanted to make something new a gingerbread with cm6
No theme engine will be added in future release SPOILER !!!
It uses free xperia recovery

This might seem like repeat, but 22 posted his reply while I was typing mine, so we ended up in this awkward situation.

Well, we haven't tried with that baseband yet, because of a complication on 22's X10. Personally, I don't have an answer for all of your questions, because 22 was the one getting the CM settings here, but I'm guessing its because CM 7 doesn't work very well with the X10 that we used (I don't own an X10, I have a DHD ).
We have never tried using the CM 7 Theme choose app on this ROM, and thats really because we're trying to get the T-Mobile Theme engine running on this.
Hope that helps.

[ROM][June 2]AOSP FROYO cm6, ARC,camera/camcorder 1400 quadrand w/o kenel

The base rom is a stock froyo that is the bare minimum... the smallest downloadable working rom for our x10 devices. You can also download the cm6 version or just add cm6 with a 4mb recovery zip. Want arc launcher and timescape then just flash the zip over the cm6 rom or the aosp rom. Doesn't matter wich rom you use you can keep the data from the other roms in this thread as they are all based on the same rom.
First up for grabs is the overdriveFROYO rom wich is an AOSP froyo 2.2.1 rom
this rom is bare and has been given the updated treatment of freexperia recovery, busybox and su in the xbin, all unrelated files have been excluded from bin, libs, xbin. Even though this rom is a small download of under 60mb it still has market and other basic apps included in it so you can download what ever apps you like. It also has some x10project tweaks and looks to it.. this is far from optimized but is fast, smooth, and reliable. it is NOT on a kernel and are different roms for different base bands so read and flash the correct rom for baseband, it cobratos baseband changes can be used to change the baseband on the rom to match what ever baseband you are on or like on your phone (the froyo bb change, not the cm7 bb change). Again credits to j and z for there work wich most roms are based from.
The next up for grabs is a basic CM6 rom that you can download the full rom or just update the aosp with a small 4mb install in recovery menu. Once again this rom in full is less then 60mb for a download and is fast and light.
I believe everything is working for the most part. I will update what is and is not working after you all get the pleasure of testing it out. I don't use private testers as this is xda, a development site. All of you on this site are a part of my rom development .
1. first download rom from the second post (please do not mirror)
updated fix for app installs
2. then make sure you have recovery menu installed
3. wipe cache, wipe data, wipe dalvik (in recovery)
4. install through recovery and reboot
5. wait for it to reboot or use dev tools to crash the system server
6. use and report happiness or bugs

hey buddy great job!!!
just one question:
whts the main difference between this and FreeX10?
cause FreeX10 is already clean AOSP build...
keep up ur good work!
Smaller.. less files... different settings... changed some things... kinda like freex10 on a diet... and freex10 was already small.. free x10 was 61mb with no apps.. this is 56mb w some apps... juast making the great free x10 better as i aleays thoufht it was the best froyo rom
Figured id work on a reliable daily rom to always fo back to from other roms... and i have some unfinished froyo roms i just wanted to finish up

Super-lightweight stock ROM with minimal tweaks.
Also, it's fast. Did I mention it's fast? Maybe not in benchmarks but it's very snappy and smooth in actual usage. You won't believe it unless you try it. In fact, this is the ROM that I've been using since I made it 2 months ago.
Q: "Is it just a stripped ROM?"
A: Yes, it is, but have you seen other ROMs like this? Almost every stock-based ROM out there are heavily modded, that's why I made this.
Q: "When did this ROM start?"
A: It started for the Wildfire and then X10 based on stock Eclair (released on MoDaCo only).
Screenshots (from Leaf GB r1)
Release notes
16/11
- Updated link.
- ROM should boot and work properly now.
r3 - 10/11 (Baseband .71)
*FINAL RELEASE* There will be no more further updates beyond this if everything went well since I've moved on to the arc.
- Remade.
- Better performance.
- Should be problem-free and stable.
Hotfix 2 - 25/9
- Fixed WiFi error experienced by users on stock kernel
r2 - 22/9 (Baseband .71)
- Removed Talk, Email, Gmail and some other hidden unused packages
- Integrated audio stutter fix
- Adjusted tweaks; better for gaming and slightly smoother UI
Hotfix 1 - 13/9
- Should run smoother
- FPS uncap fix
- Replace WiFi module with correct one
r1 - 12/9 (Baseband .71)
- Based on stock 3.0.1.G.75
- Works on either locked/unlocked bootloader
- Removed various apps
- Harmless build.prop tweaks
- Stock-like
- Ad-blocking hosts file
- What's inside is what you see in those shots, no Timescape and other SE add-ons

Updated 16 November. Fixed problems with missing xRecovery and not booting. It was an error on my side, sorry guys!
update-Leaf-GB-r3.zip (81.4 MB / xRecovery)
Package doesn't wipe data. You can flash this over any ROM that is based on stock (ThGo2, Wolfs TW, X10x EWJet, T.E.A.M, Ultima, Blue Sparks etc.) and retain data.
Installation
1. Copy zip package to SD card
2. Boot into xRecovery
3. (OPTIONAL) For a clean install, do a full wipe
4. Flash zip package
5. Reboot

Bye X10, I'm gonna miss ya
I will give it a go... lol.. I have tried so many ROM in the last few days.....
As a request, can you add the following tools...
1. Link2SD
2. AdFree
BTW: Does anyone ever use the Email program that it comes with? I was hoping to remove it
I will let you know in a couple of days.
I'll try including Link2SD and ad-block is already included.

Thanks, I also change the default launcher to Nemus launcher (marketplace).
At the moment I am sitting on 180mb RAM free.. which is unusually high, but that is also very nice if it is true.
I am going to install some of my apps to see how I go.
Great Job, I am going to stick to your ROM for the next few days.

sterling?
Audio is the same with stock SE camera.
Sterling work = good/respectable work
May have to try this ROM as it's my wife's X10, not mine, and the only issue we've found on all custom 2.3 ROMs is really quiet audio recording when using the videocamera.
Having said that, I flashed your Gingervillain port yesterday and although it has the quiet audio recording thing, the ROM is running really really well, so I may leave that on for a while yet......
Suggestions
Would it be possible to add restart, xrecovery to the power prompt menu as well as a modified battery icon and maybe if possible in any way to position the status bar on the bottom of the screen.
The reason for asking you to do the mods and not doing them myself is coz you are the dev and you may be implementing something similar already.
Thanks
I just installed it! I´ll try it and report thank you!

Since its stock, does it have the following (i'm not asking for these to be included, i'm just asking if they are):
xLoud
Bravia Engine
FPS uncap
i understand i'll have to run the zdzihu mod for the audio skip.
This is just a stock rom with removed apps. Right?
Do not get me wrong, thanks for keeping our x10 alive.
Why the SoundRecorder.apk appears on the Titanium Backup list, but don't appear among the apps on the app drawer (so i can't even open it to use it)?

i did this on my own but not publish rom. just tell people about it. 'Cos i used gingerxperia due to the build prop being open and editable. then i added apk's i found from google.. a few are ready available with ICS feature's i also added ICS wallpaper's lock screen clock and other's. along with ice cream launcher it look great run fast and closest thing to ICS possible on X8 atm. people bash me for troll or misuse of rom that is why i did not publish it i just said to people what i have done
use the ICS launcher it has already many feature's of ICS.

When I wrote it, it wasn't saying "it's uploading"
Anyway sorry!
There's no reason to make an ICS look alike ROM at the moment. Its too soon. How are you gonna make an ICS ROM with just 2-3 apps, an unnoficial launcher and a wallpaper?

It is not working and until a fix is released i am staying on gdx17..
Keep up the good work
looking good so far, but as we all now probably know, the launcher by IntelSoftApps look nothing like the official ICS one...
how bout this? https://market.android.com/details?id=mobi.SyndicateApps.ICSv2&feature=search_result as seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-F_ke3rxopc
First i already have his permission.
Second i will Take a look at the wifi
Third i will also look at the thread of the other launcher
But After school
Sent from my X8 using XDA App
please justified .. if I'm wrong...
i think it still GingerDX with ICS launcher..
BUT GOOD WORK..
very good...
What did you change from gdx?
sorri bad english.
I confirm problems with WiFi, on the other hand the ROM is not the only one with these kind of problems. Quite many have had them lately.
Apart from WiFi, the ROM works and feels great. I cannot tell anything about battery life (I installed it two hours ago) but the rest seems to work with flying colors.
Thanks!
So... just to make it clear - it's GingerDX with atered framework-res.apk and a few apps differing, isn't it? Shouldn't it be in a theme section then? Well, unless you actually intend to change the core of your ROM later on to include ICS features, not only its general outfit, then, of course, it would be a fully yours ROM

BoostHD | CM9 | Android 4.0.4
This powerful ROM includes the Reloaded ICS settings, which makes it almost as customizable as AOKP. In the Arc thread, you can find some add-ons, which may or may not work.

Recommended apps for this ROM
■ UCam Ultra Camera
I like this much more than the AOSP camera, it is a bit like the Sony camera app
■ Icy Time
Since a stopwatch/timer is not included, if you still want one, this fits the Holo theme.
■ Badass Battery Monitor
Since built in battery stats don't work, this app is a good replacement for that.
Other
Tip: You can find the Reloaded setting in your app drawer, not in the settings menu!
.70 baseband works fine too.
Besides the creators of this ROM, I would like to thank jjdoctor for his great guide on porting ROMs between Xperia 2011 HDPI devices.
Also I would like to encourage anyone to try the same, it's very easy and satisfying work.

Downloading.... Will review
Possible that sirkay's FXP kernel will work with this?
By theming the AOSP messaging app to match ICS, you really patched that missing UI look .. nice nice.. !!

I only ported this, remember, just moving some files in 7zip, please thank the creator!
I will test sirkays kernel too, can you report back too?
Using sirkays kernel I litterally got a tsunami of force closes. Not recommended
I changed the download link to 0.1.21 release, same place in the first post.
If the flash is always on in camera, please reflash with the new zip, no wipe needed, but if you encounter problems, just wipe to be sure.

flashing over 64 baseband to see if it works.. else will goto 70
Edit: Taking quiet a while in first boot.. preparing for the boost..
.64 is actually recommended, but I'm using .70 and it works fine.
Very good very stable..
liked the blue messaging app, blue smileys.. status bar goes with the cosmic wallpaper..
lags once a while, but that's ok.. needs time to settle down I guess
Sound/Speaker quality seemed a little low.
Notification LED works..
Nice volume bar too added to status bar..
Edit: Works with .64 baseband
Cool ROM!
Thanks
Too bad it's a ROM and not a CM9 add-on.. Looks great tho! If I ever get bored of CM9 I might give it a try!
Thanks for your time!

Camerea Patch for Neo V
It would be really helpful for Neo V users if someone could post a link to the camera patch for Neo V and if it was added to the OP.
I would like to thank the developer for all the efforts he's put into this ROM. We really appreciate what you are doing for the community. Contrary to the joke named 'official ICS' from SONY, the AOSP ROMS are usable and not laggy like hell. If only Sony learned a thing or two from these lovely chaps at XDA.

Again, I just ported this, it's not much work
If you can confirm that the camera patch works, I'll add it.

All right, I will test this ROM tomorrow and if the camera patch works, then I will confirm
I have one question though, about camera flash. I am using fxp 117 right now on my Neo V and camera flash works fine. Since this ROM is based on CM9, shouldn't the flash work fine on this one too?
EDIT: I have found my answer to that. It seems flash has been functional only with the Neo V patch for a while. Good news is, Neo should get a functional flash too: Kormatoes says his latest AOKP build for Neo (to be uploaded later tonight) has working flash

Great, thanks for the tip!
There's a somewhat inconvenient workaround though. The torch ap does work, so you can turn on the torch before starting the camera app, and it won't be disabled, because the flash is not recognized by the camera (I tried other camera apps too).
is this have transparent statusbar option ??

Great ROM. Very Fast.... but I cat't use it..
I have 0% battery problema and can't get a patch for CM9 Kernel.
Any body have this problem solved?
Thanks
Maybe the creators of the 0% battery kernel can modify the CM9 kernel...?

Certainly an interesting concept with the recent efforts to make MIUI open source. Does this ROM have any affiliation with the group making MIUI open source?
Edit: You may want to change the baseband in the OP.
No affiliation with the MiUi open source group.

this does seem like a pretty awesome Rom, but I don't exactly want to go back to ics just to run it.
but thank you for your Tam and bringing more awesome roms to the fascinate !
Will wait for the jelly versions.. Thx for bringing it here

I assume this uses whatever partition layout that cm9 does (different than cm10).
If so, does this rom expect to be flashed over cm9, or will it also convert from stock?
It would be cool if this used the same partition layout as the current cm10 nightlies...

Yes, thank you very much. This is now my daily driver. Being brave/stupid and trying it with the Devil kernel for ICS. It's doing the sleep of death, but I know how to fix that. Moar themes and even MIUI apps would be cool. Heck, if you could have it link up to the MIUI theme repository, that would be awesome.
THIS LOOKS AWESOME. Loved miui, mainly for the theming. Have grown to love Cm as well. When do you think the jb update will be released? I really just don't want to go back to ics.
We are testing the JB rom now. We will be rolling out this Tuesday or Wednesday.

you'd just have to flash the teamhacksung ics rom and then flash this rom.
Resurrecting this to thank you for this ROM, as it's very stable and fast, even without overclocking. This is, i think, the ROM my phone will have for the foreseeable future.
Cheers!
I know this is an old rom, but is there any way to add the softkey fix to this? This is a perfect rom, but the softkeys go crazy with weak signals because it doesn't have the softkey patch.
Is the patch built into the ROM or the kernel? If it's in the kernels, what kernel can i flash for the ROM?
Anyone?

from all I remember about it the kernel patches took care of most of it..
I would look at running the devil ICS version 1.4.1
http://rootaxbox.no-ip.org/derteufel/ICS/Fassy/141/Devil3_1.4.1_ICS_fascinate_CFS_BLN_CMC_20120906.zip
or this Glitch kernel
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23060877489995941
.
Thanks for the kernel links. I'm using the devil one with great success. No more phantom button presses! I now have the perfect rom.
For anyone using a jb rom, try moving back to this ROM. I'll think you'll be shocked at how much faster ics is. Not to mention apps are more compatible with ics. I should have never "upgraded".
