You'd think they'd be a little more into doing pre-orders themselves, or at least announcing an availability date. Slackers!

Nice find, good to know they're on their way and not being released 6 months after the phone is like they were with the EVO 4G. I'll probably just get one from my local Sprint store though. I like the fact that if anything happens to it I can just walk in the store and walk out with a new one.

Me Id rather not have to drive to the store if there is a problem. Plus then I have to talk to someone who usually knows nothing about the phones and products they sell. I find that annoying. Id rather just call Otterbox and have them send me a replacement, which is what they do. Plus the store won't help you after 30 days have passed.

Actually they do lifetime replacements for the cases you buy there. I just had the Commuter for my OG EVO replaced a couple weeks ago, bought that one when they were first released. Walked in, handed it to the person at the reception stand and said it was broken, they walked over and unboxed a new one and handed it to me.

man those ballistic cases look solid. I went with the fishbone case for my last phone, but might be time for a change.
I really like the look of these, I went naked with my Hero but I'm definately getting a case for my evo 3d and this looks like the one for me. I also love how there is a built in kickstand on the original Evo, but how would you rate the kickstand. The htc kickstand case looks nice and solid but I can't tell with the ballistic kickstand.

The ballistic kickstand on my EVO isn't rock solid, but it gets the job done. Certainly much better than no kickstand.
Anyone wanting a ballistic case, I suggest emailing them. The more emails they get the more they'll know people are interesting in them making one.

Let me also say this...
I bought one of the ballistic cases for my evo, love it. Best case I ever had hands down.
After about 6 months part of the front of the case cracked. I was pissed as I paid like $35 bucks for it. I emailed their customer service. The lady said send a receipt and a picture of the problem. So I emailed my receipt and jpg of the cracked case. They mailed me a new one for free no other questions in 4 days. Their customer service is really good in my experience.
Since then I've had no problems and Ive had the new case about 4 months now. They give you a full year replacement warranty. (and it actually works as advertised!!)
Thanks for that. I had a similar problem with my Ottebox for my Hero. I emailed customer service, they requested no proof of anything and sent me a brand-new replacement free of charge. I guess they both would be excellent cases, but it seems that Ballistic has a planned release.

Id be beyond surprised to see a July launch, unless by July they mean the 30th. Trident, Otterbox and Ballistic usually take several months for non Apple releases. Ill never understand why considering the form factor is known several months before release. Maybe they are trying to avoid the fiasco that happened with the Bionic and want to be sure the form factor doesn't change.

I was just out at best buy and was talking to an associate there. i asked if I could get the htc case put on hold for the 3d. She said "well we actually have them here now" i got excited and asked if I could purchase one. she said to hang on a minute and she would get me one. well that minute went by and she said actually on second thought I better just have you wait incase the case's sku isn't loaded into our computers yet....bummer. anyway since I know stores have them in stock i was wondering if anyone has gotten their hands on one. how was the quality? finish? fitment? etc.

I ordered a rubber from Amazon for less than $5, hopefully it'll get here before Friday. Depending on the price I might pick one of these up too. I frequently use the kickstand while watching video.

I ordered that one. Note it's nowhere near as black as it is in the picture. It seems fine, I like TPU cases, and this one protects the camera completely.
I got this mainly to have something to keep it in until I get a nice case, but my Evo did great in my last cheapy TPU case. I may have to get the HTC case for the kickstand though.

I am not a big fan of cases on my phones really. But I wonder if someone will make a new battery cover with a kickstand built in too. I don't really care much for my kickstand on my 4G, only really used it to show to people. But just in case in the future I get that perfect height nightstand next to my bed where the kickstand comes in handy, I'll want it again .

If it fits a little loose, heat it up along the edges and it will help with minor manufacturing defects.
Haha, no, but good idea I didn't realize quite how large its gonna be though. Its gonna be nice to have all that screen, but I'm thinking 4.3" is gonna be the max for me. I was pleased with the captivate, but it got stolen so here we are going to the next best thing.

Next best thing? THE best thing. Does it have a notch on the side above the power button side (right)? I don't think the AT&T version has that. The International version does though.

Last time LowerpriceUSA had a sale on screen protectors for .1 plus free shipping I ordered 5 of them.
They took the 5 cents then sent me a plastic stylus and a letter apologizing for an Amazon technical difficulty.
It was too much of a hassle to send the stylus back.
But anyway just thought I'd throw that out there.
And the stylus doesn't even work. My phone won't register a touch when I try using it.

Those cases are terrible. I had one for my note 3. The case is really poorly made and the materials feel like something a cheap toy would be made out of. The built in screen protector is sticky and your fingers won't glide. Maybe the N6 version will be better than the Note 3, but I doubt it.

That's unfortunate... I preordered this case because I liked the look and the prospect of actually having a solid grip on my phone. I do hope this case is better quality than your previous experience but to be honest for 5 bucks I wasn't super confident id be receiving something ultra premium

Did you get yours? My tracking never updated. When I emailed seller, was told that item never actually shipped out... I've asked for a refund.

Considering the first people reported theirs shipping 2 days ago I doubt it.
