For those of you who still haven't rooted their Galaxy Mini, Ace or Gio with the leaked Gingerbread 2.3.3, Sam Firmware has a thread that covers rooting the gingerbread in recovery mode. You just have to download the upd_1.zip and update it through recovery mode. The link is below, and I'm kind of disappointed that xda-developers didn't have this..:/

yesterday night i stuck into boot loop on my galaxy star. i just flashed latest official rom from official site by odin.
Finally i solved the problem but i dont know hot to root my galaxy star.by cydia impactor it says signature bugs.
and i m not able to get to recovery by any means.no combination working.
CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT????

I am new here, if I make mistakes here, forgive me.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace GT 5830i, I want to flash it to Gingerbred 2.3.X or Froyo 2.2.X anything which is official . Now here is the problem, my phone is not going to download mode. Its goes only to recovery mode as its rooted.
Previously I flashed it via Jellyblast V3.0.3
Now I may have to flash my rom via recovery mode.
Please give me suggestions.

If you want both to use CWM 5.0.2.6 and to root your S5830 stock rom, root it ONLY via SuperUser not SuperSU!!
one of the softwares which does rooting via SuperUser is SuperOneClick 2.3.3.
