Hello frend's i am new in this forum ,
i did a big mistake first i rooted my xperia 10mini and use 2.2 rom then i try to recover my phone in original version 2.1 . When i try and restart my phone and press back button it's goes to recovery mode not automatically recovered so i delete from c drive recovery.tar file and two more file now my phone is stuck on lobo of android doll. What to do i son't know please help me my phone is going to die.
Easy get seus and reflash your phone stock or boot into recovery ,,, using charging phone power on phone unplug charger use a back up ,,if you can't start again rember to do back ups

I had the same issue it restarts by itself n go into looping, remove the battery place it back, connect ur phone to SEUS by holding back button and plugging the USB

in mini 10 battery is not removable & my basic operating files are deleted show when there is no operating file how it'll starts a home screen thats y i m asking u and other frend's is there any other method to re install operating 2.1 or any thing to start my phone again so i can do after that any thins otherwise nothing is worth 4 me saddddddddddddd
If your recovery (xrecovery or clockwordmod) works fine, what about removing your SD and plug it to a PC in order to copy a 2.1 ROM and then install it through recovery?

That's weird because 7 hours after i brought my X10 mini pro i already bricked it , so i fire up SE PC companion and i followed the instruction to _repair_ the phone and no access to USB storage was needed that i remember.
It simply downloads and flash to your phone.
Unfortunately i'm still a newbie so i suppose and i haven't all the right answers
Keep trying with SE repairing and good luck with that!
Oops sorry, click the reset button, dnt turn your cell on, press the back button plug in the usb u'll see the green light!

ps: u said u deleted ur xrecovery.tar nd cant boot into recovery, how the hell u think u'll be able to install zip from sdcard??? Only way u have is SEUS or try using bin4ry's flashtool, download mini's1.1 rom....

There is no way that seus could not fix your phone and even if it couldnt se has a duty to repair it free of charge in the first 12 months !

You have a faulty xrecovery installed mate!
Use SEUS to repair. Flashtool to root.
Once done, let me know. I have a safe, simple way of installing xrecovery (that works).

Just to let you know..I used the Flashtool couple of times before and it always worked. (even it said that it worked when I did backup)
I still got some questions before I do what you told me:
When I will use SEUS to repair - will it install the stock rom on my device?
Do you think that the flashtool did backup my current version and data?
and..after I'll install xrecovery again..will I have my last "restores"? (will I be able to restore?) because the info there might be more expensive to me than the device itself.

Seus will reinstall 2.3.3.
Flashtool doesn't create backup.
Yes, if u made a backup through xrecovery, you can restore it.
But b4 installation of xrecovery let me know

I ment that I used xrecovery and it worked to tell you that it was installked right, maybe something went wront but in first place it wasn't installed faulty.

i tried to conect the phone and do something with pc companion.
since its stuck boot loop (phone rebooting till SE's logo and again..)i couldnt do anything but "repair/ fix problems" option in pc companion when i conect my phone, press on back button and enter buttery..
it still didnt work because it says the there is still no avialable program to use in my phone..and to try later..
any help please???
im already getting alot of dmg since im without my phone please help

ok guys he told me to flash the stock ftf
i have some questions, and i dont want to get on his nervs cuz he is pretty bussy..
he already told me that ftf is flashtool firmware file,and after some searching i understand that its a file that you put in the /firmware folder in the flashtool.
1.how will i be able to flash any file if my phone- not just stuck on SE's logo ,its keep rebooting!..?
2.what is UPS backup for PC??
3.how can i know how much batterty do i have or charging the phone? when i conect it to the charger the screen is still stuck on that loop so i dont even know if the phone is charning.
any 1?

Ups backup is required for ur pc so that in case ur current goes off in midway you dont endup in bricking ur fone.
Yes ftf needs to be placed inside firmwire folder.
Open flashtool.re.keep it running.
Shut down your phone ,connect the data cable to phone,keep the back button pressed and insert the data cable to usb port. Your led will turn green. Goto flash and browse firmwire folder to select the ftf file.
Enjoy flashing!!!

Yes you can enter flash mode by removing the battery and plugging it in, hold back button then insert the battery.

I mean, ups is required so that evem your power supply/electricity goes off, you can carry on your work.
You can use external battery charger to charge your battery only.
Before flashing,pull out your battery...as you said.
Last resort: if all fails, go to se service center, they will repair it. They use the same pc companion. When i tried to flash my fone earlier,i was a dumb fella. I bricked it. Took it to service center and got it fixed.
Before flashing, watch doomlord's video of flasing at least 4 times. Then read the instructions and flash, keep the video running and pause at required places. This is how i flashed successfully on next instance.

Hi mate if you think you backed up properly from xrecovery and it still in sd card, use card reader to retrieve it to pc. The file should be under sdcard/xrecovery/backup/xxxxx.zip. then try recover it from working phone with xrecovery. Hope this help n good luck.

Hi. Basically, my phone is stuck on the Sony Ericsson screen. I know it can all be fixed by re-flashing or clicking on the repair bit on PC Companion however the usb port is broken on the phone and my local shop couldn't repair it. Does anyone have any suggestions? The phone is worth nothing otherwise...
By the way, it is rooted and stuck on the SE screen because i deleted the stock launcher and then tried doing a factory reset on the phone (face palm moment...)

try downloading this zip....then save it in some folder on ur sd card....using an sd card reader if ur usb port is broken....
then reboot into xrecovery n flash this zip....

Go launcher womt help as he did a factory reset. U need to grab flashtool pal and use that to install global generic firmware. U could try seus or pc companion also they may help

U have done a factory reset right? ?? So as told above installing another zip also wont workout...
Xrecovery might have gone...
One more thing...for instance if recovery is working u have to press back button once the led starts blinking ....n tats hw u gotta boot into it...

If you can goto xrecovery install any custom rom that works with stock kernel...and later after installing custom rom use pc companion and flash the fresh stock rom

I didn't install xrecovery before the wiping, so there are nothing that i could do even i had xrecovery
How can i install custom rom? Since it is my first smart phone.
Moreover, right now the phone can't connecting to a computer at all.
I checked a lot of topics that required the phone is able to connect to a pc,
In order to install any custom roms.

That's mean even my computer has installed pc companion, The computer can't read the phone correctly, so it is impossible to recovery in this way

If your provider didn't change the software on your phone too much, this will work. It will work best if you leave your phone disconnected from your pc until step 7

Usb to Computer can be detected but not able to connect
U should try to connect to flash mode what I did when it was rebooting on self
1-removed battery till step 7
2-quickly insert it (dont even use back cover till ur done)then hold back button and plug the cable in ur phone untile led flashes(plug usb in pc b4 starting this)

If non of above helps ur last solution would be flashing stock kernel (which can be found on xda) with flashtool with the battery quick in and backbutton method but youll need ur bootloader unlocked

Hi all,
It seems my X10 mini pro is completely bricked.
Firstly I root my phone
after that I copied the xrecovery and made a restart, till then everything was rolling smoothly.
I backed up and reseted to factory settings. loaded the new update.zip and after the restart that was needed my phone briked
it's not a common brick. I can't use flashtools to recover it.
here is the problem that appears...

phone is not responding to any command. Plus it needs to be turned off if you wanna restore the backup you saved previously...when I try to flash it, phone turns ON

Dont forget to pull of your battery for 4 seconds, for turn off your phone before connect your phone.

Press home and power buttons together, it will restart the phone, then start pressing the back-button repeatedly to get back into recovery and restore your previous rom from there. (Come to think of it, following my last paragraph below, you probably don't have recovery on your phone anymore, so, as Rempty mentioned above, repairing with SEUS or PC Companion would be the start to recover your phone to a usable state,.)
The error flashtool gave you is because you didn't unlock the bootloader and didn't change the kernel on your phone. It can't flash any non-sony kernel on a locked bootloader.
What is this 'update.zip' you're talking about? Most full roms have more informational names to distinguish between different zips. An update.zip is usually only for hotfixes to ROMS already flashed, and not a complete ROM.

Hey guys I hve instaled xrecovery and minicm9 too on my x10 mini pro I hve wiped chache,etc nd when I reboot , it hangs on SE logo plz help me
SE logo?? You forgot to install nAa kernel, do you unlock bootloader??, remember that minicm9 is not for stock kernel.

use flash tool to unlock ur bootloader
make sure ur fone is rooted

What's your phone's build date? Ex.11w37(written on the stick placed on the back )

Plz help me.. I try to unlock the boot loader .. and the phone bricked !!!! what am i going to do??
i try the PC COMPANION but my phone did not detect it..
this is what i did to bring back life to my x10 mp.
Switch phone completely off then if not already running start pc companion. then this step really got to me because of the phone constantly restarting, to get pc companion to detect the phone, i pressed and held the back key down and connected the usb cable just like flashing a new kernel. pc companion then detected the phone as x10. doesnt matter. then start the update and you must do the same thing again to force update service to detect the phone and to give the option to repair. then once thats done follow the prompts through update service, it will then ask you what phone you have, choose x10 mini pro and update.its a long process but be patient and your phone will work again.
Hey guys I used the flashtool to unlock the bootloader and I also followed the steps too but problem is when the phone was rebooted it didnt read the sim card now what should I do ? Please help

my phone is in HARD BRICKED.. my phone is dead the phone didnt charge and totally dead.. what should i do?? help me??
i also have a hard bricked,even when i put it to charge the phone its not blink the led

hi guys.....my friend gave me his xperia neo v to install custom rom .....his mobile doesnt hav root so as to root i downloaded the ftf file and when flashed through flash tool it stucked at 9 percent and then i unplug the usb as it has been stuck for half an hr......then after phone doesnt boot because i mistakenly wiped the data .....now what to do,,,,,,tell me please......my mind is presently not working at all.....please tell me what to do in brief and give me links for solutions if youare free ...thanks in advance

Remove battery and re-insert... Now hold the back button and plug-in the mobile.. Check whether the led glows or not.. If it is glowing then nothing has happened to that phone... Go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1678690... Download whichever .ftf file you want... Place it in the firmwares folder of the flashtool installed folder.. Then connect your phone in flashmode and flash this .ftf... It will get you back to Stock ICS.. Your mobile will be a brand new, out of the box... Start rooting process all over again... PM me for further help...
