[Q] Netflix.apk & Froyo - Fascinate Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Any chance a netflix application that works on the fascinate GB leak will work on Froyo for fascinate?
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App

The non altered market apk works on GB, so you need to get GB if you want it.

No **** sherlock.

No, won't work. Next time don't ask if you are going to be an asshole when you get the answer.

im sure anything is possible..... i dont think it will come from a dev though, probably Netflix.

I'm flattered but, nahh man, I just don't like people saying exactly what I say it different ways. Its not just pet food its food for your pets

Q: Gingerbread 2.3 or 2.4?

Was there any word about whether we're getting version 2.3 or 2.4? I came from a Nexus S and there were nice refinements in that version which I hope we do get in this phone.
Gingerbread really did solve the issue of not needing a Task Killer... EVER!
I'm going with 2.3 for now. Maybe something newer down the line, but, one step at a time
I'd imagine either should be sufficient; the only reason they're using 2.4 is to separate it from the 2.3 developer builds, no?
Just found this, Q2!!!

Thats awesome!!!! I wish we were getting 2.4 just to say we have a higher number
It'd be a nice icing on the cake if we could get the new Sense that the newly announced EVO 3D has got

ummmmmmmmmm... NO!!!
Don't really understand the question, vanilla android doesn't come binged. If your looking for a bingless rom, look to the developer forum.

Huh? Whats bing? Its that that thing that has not been on my phone for 6 months?
Sent from my frozen yogurt filled fascinate
If you want a vanilla android without bing then pretty much any community ROM will be bing-less. I think the general consensus is that Bing is worthless.
I was half asleep when I wrote this, I mean will we get 2.3 with no Bing, also i saw the intercept got vanilla android in there 2.2 update so it can be done so does anyone think we will get lucky

Yeah I think that's what he is referring to, I forgot what that word meant.

Does anyone know when is gingerbread for our vibrants coming out?

Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App
No. Probably even Samsung themselves don't.
It has never been announced, but even if it was, you would probably have a new phone before they release it.
I recommend CM7 rom because it's built on gingerbread and freaking amazing. I'm using it and not going back

yah most of us will be on Galaxy s2 before gingrebread drops for the vibrant..LOL

And that is why you drive the short bus. J/K. I had the same issue, took me like a week to find "simple" view. Even sent tapatalk a nasty email that they NEVER replied to about it. So, I'm excited the app FINALLY supports thanks, but I will leave my low-star rating on the market since tapatalk most likely still has its head stuffed securely up its own ass. Even a busted clock is right twice a day.
Fuhq tapatalk.
