THis netflix works on mine - HTC EVO 3D

http://www.swampthing.net/netflix.apk Make mirrors if you want

I am using the one linked to in irc channel #htc-evo-3d it works just fine for me.

Sorry if this is a uninformed question, but how do I install this? It downloads as a .zip, not .apk...do I just rename the file or what?
Thanks in advance for the help!
Nevermind...I answered my own question...for anyone else that is not sure, yes, you change the extention to .apk
Installs just fine with Astro file manager (available in market).

I found a Netflix APK last week, went to install it on the Evo 3D on Friday, it installed fine, then automatically downloaded an update and works great. I see the Netflix app still isn't appearing in the Market on the 3D.

also, in a few hours (whenever the pull request goes through) i should have a section up in ROM Manager with custom bootanimations.
Would that come through as an update on the market? Or will we have to update rom manager ourselves?

But, when i put it in the \system\media folder, and reboot, all i get is a black screen? Any ideas as to why? does it need to be in a different folder? (and yes i renamed the file to bootanimation.zip)

As long as the kernel you've got installed supports bootanimation.zip files it should work. However, I placed my zip in the /data/local folder. Either should work though, I think.

did you edit the desc.txt file? and how did you zip the file? using store?
also if you can upload the bootanimation.zip I can look at it and see if it works.

No i didnt edit anything.
Here is the file attached, that i renamed to bootanimation.zip on my phone.
Doesn't work. I had the same issue and yes I know how to change bootanimation.zip because I've just done it three times prior to trying this file.
Great list, thank you.
Would you happen to know if there's any way to preview these before use?
Also, I've never changed my boot animation before, I've read elsewhere in this thread that you have to have a kernel that supports it.
I'm currently running 2.1 Vibrant stock, only thing I've done is rooted it so I could have access to things I wanted like tethering, screenshots, etc.
Would you happen to know if I can change the boot animation through Clockwork Rom Manager the way my phone is right now?
I'm running Axura 2.1, does anyone know if I'm able to change the boot animation on this? I've tried it already using root explorer to transfer the file but when I do it gives me an error that says the file is only read only.
Is it the ROM or something I need to do to transfer the file properly?
Use a file explorer that change r-rw. Not sure stock JFD?

Download NEW Swype!

You have to sign up for the beta using the swype website. You will download the new installer. Before installing you have to uninstall the old swype and olds swype installer. You can either do this via titanium backup or delete the files using root explorer. Once this is done reboot into recovery and wipe dalvik cache. Then install the new swype installer and follow instructions provided by swype. Enjoy!
Hit thanks if I helped!

Yes. I actually looked you up after post #2 and saw your post on swype settings. I am using them now & seem a little smoother. Thanks s!
Do you have to install the Samsung keyboard to use Swype? I am new at this and just flashed to trigger 2.7.2. Thanks.
Never mind, I figured it out.

I need this file for it to work..
GIVE THIS ONLY IF YOU HAVE UPDATED/NEW VERSION.
Go to system/lib/ using root explorer or astro
there, find a file named "libswypecore.so"
copy that
and attach it here
thanks in advance

This is up to date as of earlier today when I signed up for the BETA and installed it.

(REQ) Latest Sprint TV & Movies

Anyone have the latest Sprint TV & Movies APK? Currently have 4.3.4.4-152355 and when I open the app it asks me to update but I'm running Eternity and the update won't download for some reason. If you could post the APK I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but this is the most recent app off of the market.
http://db.tt/iDC36IJv
I've got the "updated" apk (4.3.5.4-171610) on my phone, but I'm at work right now. When I get home (7pm EST) I'll post it, if someone hasn't posted it for you yet.
EDIT: Also, you could make a nand of your setup (unless you have bootmanager ) and click the link in my sig for MeanROM and install it. Once you boot the ROM there will be a MeanROM folder on your sd. Flash the SprintTV zip while you're on MeanROM. Once you start the app it'll update and then you'll have the updated apk. Backup the "updated" apk and then restore Eternity and profit.
EDIT 2: Sorry it took so long man. I see that caguirr4 posted a link so hopefully that worked for you?
Here's the one that I've got, just in case.

[REQUEST] Port of HTC Flashlight application from International build?

I recently flashed the international ROM onto my AT&T HTC One, and found the flashlight application found on the International HTC One very nice. I have no Idea why this wasn't in the AT&T varient, but it sure would be nice to have that ported over the the AT&T version, as the 3 levels of brightness are very nice to have, as I had to go back to the AT&T Rom due to some Play store issues.
Could you just extract it from the zip of the other Rom and paste it into system and set permissions?
Edit: I just did this- worked like a charm. Extracted it from the TrickDroid ROM I have on my SD card. Copied, pasted to system/app, set perms to rw-r--r--

I would like this too please
EDIT: I tried doing the same thing, downloaded the tricky rom and extracted the apk. Problem is when I go to put it in the system/app folder and changing permissions, after rebooting it disappeared. I tried doing an install on the app by clicking it and found that it errors out with a "app not installed." Was there anything else needed to get the flashlight working?
EDIT: I got it working. I actually extracted the apk from the STOCK odex International rom that Android Revolution HD used. Found here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2224752
After that I extracted the apk that was in "One_1.29.401.13_odexed.zip\data\preload" and copied to "/data/app" instead of "/system/app" and changed to said permission above "rw-r--r--". Works great now.

you don't need to be rooted to install these.
just download them on your device then click them. it should ask you to allow unknown sources.
go to settings > security > tick the unknown sources box
then install the apps.
